This place could have been better since it has amazing beach and the food is quite decent. However all the receptionists were quite cold and rude and they did not respond at all to our requests.

Wonderful and fun place. They have a good amount of activities to keep you at Bay during your stay. The rooms are spotless-clean and you can get an excellent view of the sun setting by taking a 3-minute walk to the beach. And the visitors are always so nice to meet and greet.

I have no complaints, the people that serve are as usual, cordial, kind and ready to serve us. The Dominican Republic is one of my favorite nations to visit, because of the reasons I mentioned.

The property was clean and not crowded. The food was excellent. We stayed there not for two nights prior to our cruise, so we didn’t have opportunity to explore too much. However, we do not think upgrading to the Sun Ckub was worth, compared to similar upgrade at one of Hyatt’s resorts in Mayan Riviera.

Amenities being replaced within requesting, food safety standards met in buffets, some staff understanding language barriers should not play a role in service. Our stay was ok, only issue we had was them not having our room we booked available on checkin. I believe that is due to the fact that they allow people to upgrade when they arrive and don’t prioritize those that have these rooms already booked. Rested for 2 weeks in November. The location of the hotel is good, a beautiful large beach. Several other hotels of the same chain are nearby. Hotel Riu Naiboa is quite old and needs updating. Pretty good for the price. The kitchen is good, there is a sufficient selection of dishes, even for picky tourists. There is also a water park shared by several hotels.

Awesome vacation for our family! Resorted was exceptionally clean and everything was so conveniently located to our room and so many amenities! Staff were friendly and helpful. I would not recommend staying here. All older people and they kept staring at us. I’m 35 and my wife is 32 definitely not my cup of tea. No top shelf alcohol even for a up charge. Beach was fabulous, flat walk out with minimal seaweed. Not much to do onsite, minimal entertainment and few food options. If you are looking for something quaint and quiet, this is an ideal option.
