Staff was phenomenal I never tipped as much as I did on this trip Armando the front desk staff was amazing he arranged all of my dinners at restaurants and helped with almost everything

The staff, ABSOLUTELY all of them, are extremely attentive and kind. I would recommend this resort a thousand times for the exceptional service. From the reception to the waiters and room service

The common areas were clean and well-maintained, offering a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere. The location was perfect—close to everything but far enough from the noise to rest comfortably

The room was spotless, with a very comfortable bed and all the amenities needed for a relaxing stay. Breakfast was delicious and varied, with fresh and high-quality options

Staff were all very nice. Denny the bell hop, the young fellow who checked us in, Alexa were all especially great and deserve recognition. Overall a great experience.

Excellent service, great resort. Clean, good wifi, easy access to whole GBP complex. Buffet food and restaurants could be improved. And smoking should not be permitted poolside.

The room was spotless and well maintained, with daily housekeeping that ensured a comfortable and relaxing space to return to

Staff were very welcoming hotel and their grounds very clean the transportation around the grounds very convenient. I tried a few restaurants they were very good the activities were fun the shows are very entertaining.

What truly stood out was the overall sense of care and organisation throughout the resort

The bar closed at 11 everyday pools close at 6 and do you research before going it's spread out and unclear what you can do or not to do bars restaurants activity ect

The noise level is rarely below 60 decibels. I was next door to the gym and the outdoor music started at 6:15 am. Restaurants were between 70 and 80 decibels. Each pool is louder than the last

The Reservation Restaurants did not impress either

Stay at the resort was overall good, the part in which the Resort needs improvement is the food. The food options and flavor are not up to par with the facility. Food bland, and did not impress

If you love people, music and lots to do then you will enjoy this. If you’re like me and want to listen to the birds with your morning coffee and have some quiet space go somewhere else

Staff and cleanliness was a plus. Cons goes to just one hour entertainment and not much to do for adults at night. Food wasnt also the greatest. After all good for the prive we paid.

If you go to La Isla buffet make sure you hold on tight to your belongings, they stole my phone while I was waiting for my omelette to be made. I placed it down on the counter to grab a tip and I now regret doing that

The beach team — Yohan, Youhansey, Elvyn, Lorena, Jeffery, Arhensay, and Nury — created a seamless, relaxed experience each day, while Scooby at the pool brought warmth, attentiveness, and an inviting atmosphere

Try the french restaurant, good service and great food. Avoid the Rodizio restaurant , poor service , food just ok. Over all is a great hotel but some of the employees need better training .

I had problems with check-in, I waited 1 hour longer than agreed and they gave me the wrong room, I booked a room and they gave me another and they didn't want to change it.

The buffet food was consistently amazing with lots of variety, and the Mongolian restaurant was hands down the best — a must-try! We had the Privilege membership and it was 100% worth it

The meals were as expected from "good" at the buffer to up to very good at the a la carte restaurants. Great value for the dollar at a DR resort!

They wouldn't let us into the restaurants even during the designated hours. Initially, they gave me a room, but when they opened it, there were still people there—in other words, the security was awful

- Buffets were often messy, plates weren’t clean, and items were rarely labelled properly within the buffet - Food wasn’t very good at any of the restaurants except the steakhouse

The rooms don't have moisturizer, for example, coconut water is not included and the drinks are all made with pre-made ingredients (no lemon, just industrialized lemon juice)

In short, you can expect a place with good facilities, but the quality of the food and drinks leaves a lot to be desired

Fun hotel with plenty of pools for those who enjoy music and quiet areas for relaxation. The themed parties are some of the best. Good, modern, and welcoming facilities. In my experience, the staff were very attentive

The ocean water is not clear, so not the best for snorkeling but our stay was great - good food, good entertainment, good pools and GREAT drinks! While our stay was good overall, Miguel is the reason we will be back! The resort is incredibly lucky to have such an exceptional employee!

Just our first day here and we are already extremely impressed with the quality of the resort, room and the very friendly, gracious hospitable staff! I'm so happy to find on our first full day here at the beach although has a lot of seaweed washed up, was really beautiful to swim and is loaded up with all sorts of fish! I saw many varieties...

My husband and I, along with our friends, were vacationing at Barcelo Bavaro Beach this December. We just returned and can’t wait till next year to go there again. This is our 12th time in the same resort

We had a 7 year old and 2 and a half year old. Kids loved it!!! The whole resort is perfect for families. It was great Family princess and their bunk beds it was awesome!!!

They are lovely and will help with everything. The beach is great pool crowded food beautiful facilities are amazing

At the time, I assumed I had misplaced them and even checked with Lost & Found, but nothing was reported. Given what I discovered later, I now believe those were stolen as well. This situation is very distressing

These were not items left out in the open — they were placed בתוך my personal belongings, which indicates that someone went through my things. During my stay, my sunglasses also disappeared

What is most concerning is the lack of security — guests should feel safe leaving their belongings in their room without fear of someone searching through their personal items

The service is outstanding from the moment you walk in Til the moment you leave. The drinks were very good and the reservations for the restaurant you definitely have to try it

You always have something to do and they have something for everyone of all ages. Claribel Martinez and Angie Diaz from the adults bar “La Perla” gave us excellent service. They were very attentive while we were there

The Unique package was definitely worth it, especially if you plan to visit during peak months. Our butler Victor was the best! He was so attentive and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of

We stayed at El Beso at Ocean El Faro and overall had a good experience. The resort is very large and offers a lot to do, with a fantastic entertainment team that really makes the atmosphere fun and lively

The rooms were scrubbed daily, floors mopped and all requests followed as asked - Very clean! The staff and their service is what stood out the most - in the best way possible

It doesn't end there ; Ramon at Bluemoon has service that you could put up against anybody in the world ; Naomi at the pool bar made sure the drinks were never empty, all whilst keeping the energy up and having a smile - no matter the weather! All of the F&B staff were amazing and we didn't have a single bad experience

That said, the room could definitely use some renovation. We didn’t have the hanging chair shown in the photos, one of the sinks was leaking, and the USB charger didn’t work

The Blue team at the pool was excellent and kept things energetic and fun throughout the day. The pool area itself was enjoyable, though it could have been cleaner at times

We stayed during NYE in a Junior Suite with a rooftop, and the room itself was spacious. The AC system and ceiling fan worked very well, which was much appreciated

Stay with the buffet to avoid the wait in the other restaurants. Avoid the free shuttle from the airport, you will loose an hour of vacation time

I tried the Italian restaurant which was uninspired and cooked by people who have no idea what Italian food tastes like. The Mexican restaurant was also very forgetful but it was better than the Italian

I had the best time with my huge family! Everyone who works at this resort is so wonderful and accommodating! Aniblaisy from the entertainment team turned my trip from a 10/10 to a 100/10! She was so kind to me every time we spoke! She introduced me to do some activities and I had so much fun every time! Also, a shoutout to housekeeping! Not only was my hotel room the best hotel room I’ve ever stayed...

Super nice resort, regarding some of the drama reviews it's what you make of it. The food is so-so, you can't beat the location as the beach is spectacular. The rooms are nice, staff is great

This place is absolutely beautiful! This is our third time visiting and there are so many reasons to keep coming back! The beach is perfect, well kept and has so many loungers! The pools are great! We loved their restaurants and the buffet is a convenient and delicious back up for every meal

The food was another disappointment. While there were plenty of options, the meals were very repetitive, and the quality was just average

It has been a wonderful experience, we came for 4 days and have no regrets so far. The children's kids club has been wonderful and entertaining for the children and there's plenty of adult entertainment as well

The bartenders were friendly and kept the drinks coming. The entertainment was one of our favorite parts, with live music, shows, and lots of daytime activities. But it was also easy for us to find quiet spots to relax

The beach is stunning with soft white sand and clear water, and there were always plenty of loungers. The pools were also great, with both fun and relaxing areas

The resort was beautiful with many pools, a serene beach and a lazy river! So many restaurants to choose from plus a buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner

The room was always very clean. The staff were ALL very friendly. The gardens/yards were always clean & tidy. The food was excellent every day…… except Monday (yesterday)

Also the Spice restaurant didn’t cook the shrimp thoroughly it was still transparent. But I would definitely come back as those things are easy fixes!

We just spent a week at the incredible Dreams Onyx Resort with our family of 9, and I can't say enough good things about this place

The place is not too clean. A bit worn out and the restroom disbaled seating has old rust and the drainage is not attached on the shower. The activities are fun and the food is top notch . Service is amazing too ..

On our last day she made a special towel deco for the kids. Pedro at Expedia counter desk was always friendly and kind. He was so helpful that he upgraded our rooms to family suites for privacy and extra space

We enjoyed this resort and the food selection at the buffet was really good. The paella, seafood and soups were our favourites. My family of three (including a toddler) stayed for 6 nights and no complaints

My family of 33 went to this resort early August, it was gorgeous! Sandy at the front desk is the best. She is so patient and provides amazing customer service. And Pedro the server is amazing as well

The biggest one was that the toilet ran constantly during our stay, which was a little frustrating and made the room feel less polished than expected. The food was one of the more disappointing parts of the stay

While this kind of behavior might unfortunately be expected outside the resort, it is completely unacceptable from people operating inside the hotel. This experience seriously affected our sense of safety and trust

The hotel does not offer a shuttle service and provides no real assistance for arrival or departure. Transportation was chaotic when we arrived at the airport, and we almost got left behind

You really have to figure everything out on your own. If you’re stuck at the airport or trying to leave, the hotel does not help — you’re basically on your own

In my case, the seller stood next to me at the ATM, attempted to handle my bank card, and tried to select a savings withdrawal himself

There was a lot of pressure to pay immediately, including rushing guests to the ATM, which was extremely uncomfortable

He withdrew 12,000 Dominican pesos, saying he would return with change, but never did, even after we asked for it

I got food poisoning and was sick for two days because of it. Housekeeping is simply awful! Whether I left a tip or not, absolutely nothing was cleaned. Instead, the lady helped herself to the drinks in my minibar.

People working there were always very helpful whenever assistance was needed. Food was tasty, and the room we booked (suite with swim out) was awesome

The place is very big, so be aware that there will be quite a bit of walking to get to the lobby (where most restaurants are)

When getting ready to leave, you can ask for the bellboys to get the baggage with you back to the lobby in one of the golf cars that they use to move around

I don't remember the name of the person at the reception who changed our hotel but we'd still like to thank him. It's also worth mentioning the drinks at the bars, which were of excellent quality and the very clean pools

Great first trip to this resort. Check in took awhile as the room was not ready when we arrived, but they sent us to go get drinks/ food at the beach. Love the long pools as it spread out guests

The beauty of the Caribbean Sea cannot be described in words. The beach of this hotel is very beautiful. There are six restaurants in total, and food is available all day

Always had a pick of sun loungers! Food at the buffets were good and lots of options especially for vegetarians ( which is usually hard to find at these resorts)

The all-inclusive package is really great, and all drinks are free

100% recommendable! The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, always smiling. They even gave us a complimentary late check-out because our flight was very late. A big thank you to all the staff.
