Pools were great, quiet and clean

Armando from reception, Manuel, Freetown, and Jhoenfry, the famous "Mickey Mouse," you made our family vacation unforgettable

Staff was phenomenal I never tipped as much as I did on this trip Armando the front desk staff was amazing he arranged all of my dinners at restaurants and helped with almost everything

It was our first time at an all-inclusive. We had fantastic service, great food and a beautiful room. The entertainment team was so energetic and fun! We lived engaging with them all. They made our stay even more fun

Staff were all very nice. Denny the bell hop, the young fellow who checked us in, Alexa were all especially great and deserve recognition. Overall a great experience.

The resort’s layout, entertainment, and family-friendly atmosphere created an enjoyable balance between relaxation and activity, making the stay both memorable and stress-free

The amenities were a major highlight, from the well-kept pools and beach access to the wide variety of food options that catered to different tastes

Excellent service, great resort. Clean, good wifi, easy access to whole GBP complex. Buffet food and restaurants could be improved. And smoking should not be permitted poolside.

The only problem we had was with check-in, because I booked a room for two adults and a 13-year-old child, and the hotel charges an adult rate for children over 12

The room was spotless and well maintained, with daily housekeeping that ensured a comfortable and relaxing space to return to

Our nine-day stay at Hard Rock Punta Cana was nothing short of exceptional. The resort is impeccably maintained, effortlessly blending vibrant energy with a sense of ease and elegance

Dining was a highlight throughout our stay. Chef Jolanes impressed with exceptional cuisine, and Felix and Davidson provided impeccable service that elevated every meal

I don't have anything negative about the hotel. The bad thing for us was the beach, which was impossible to swim in, with too many waves. Children can't even play on the shore, which is extremely dangerous

Our butlers, JC and Jose, delivered truly outstanding service — discreet, attentive, and consistently anticipating our needs with professionalism and grace

The beach team — Yohan, Youhansey, Elvyn, Lorena, Jeffery, Arhensay, and Nury — created a seamless, relaxed experience each day, while Scooby at the pool brought warmth, attentiveness, and an inviting atmosphere

The service was equally impressive: Adrianna and Elvis were incredibly kind and attentive throughout our meal. It was so good that we immediately booked a table for the next day! An experience not to be missed !

An absolute delight! The food at Mareas restaurant is exceptional. We had the lobster, and it was a true treat—perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor

The portion sizes were generous and well worth the price. Overall,Gold fish beach club exceeded my expectations, and I can’t wait to come back again

Great place! Everyone is so friendly, the food is good, and there is plenty to do. No one is at the pool right when they open in the morning.

The overall cleanliness is excellent, as is the maintenance of the hotel and rooms. However, the staff's service is terrible. Upon arrival, there was no one to help me with my luggage; no one would budge

Fabulous experience! The beach is beautiful! The rooms were spacious and the entire property is very clean! The staff was attentive and super friendly! The pools were refreshing! Note-the swim up bar had kids in it

When I checked in, the room smelled of paint. No one explained that I needed towel cards, nor did they provide them. The hotel is large, and I wasted an entire afternoon changing rooms and going back to claim the cards

and while there was a bar, there were no bartenders (there were on the walk up side. but servers come right to the pool, too)

I have no complaints, the people that serve are as usual, cordial, kind and ready to serve us. The Dominican Republic is one of my favorite nations to visit, because of the reasons I mentioned.

We stayed at El Beso at Ocean El Faro and overall had a good experience. The resort is very large and offers a lot to do, with a fantastic entertainment team that really makes the atmosphere fun and lively

The Blue team at the pool was excellent and kept things energetic and fun throughout the day. The pool area itself was enjoyable, though it could have been cleaner at times

The rooms were scrubbed daily, floors mopped and all requests followed as asked - Very clean! The staff and their service is what stood out the most - in the best way possible

It doesn't end there ; Ramon at Bluemoon has service that you could put up against anybody in the world ; Naomi at the pool bar made sure the drinks were never empty, all whilst keeping the energy up and having a smile - no matter the weather! All of the F&B staff were amazing and we didn't have a single bad experience

That said, the room could definitely use some renovation. We didn’t have the hanging chair shown in the photos, one of the sinks was leaking, and the USB charger didn’t work

Our butler, Carlos Enrique, was very responsive and quickly arranged for someone to fix the sink. The USB still didn’t work, but we found a workaround

Overall, my stay at the hotel was very pleasant. The staff were extremely kind and attentive, the food was excellent, the pools were spotless, the beach was beautiful, and the gardens were well cared for

It showed signs of poor maintenance, had a damp odor, visible mold in the shower corners, a loose toilet seat, and a leaking sink that required placing a towel on the floor

Aside from the room maintenance issues, everything else was excellent

Unfortunately, the room did not meet the same standard

The changing room doors by the pools are on backwards so everyone can see in but you can't see out. We noticed a downward trend in the RIU hotels in punta cana since we started going there

The room was clean, pool hours were more limited, the equipment in the gym is broken and have been for years. The food was not as good as most other Riu hotels

My first all inclusive experience and it was beyond my expectation. I had a swim out room and was part of the preferred club, with a personal butler and food concierge to cater for halal food

The room was always very clean. The staff were ALL very friendly. The gardens/yards were always clean & tidy. The food was excellent every day…… except Monday (yesterday)

We booked a preferred swim-up room at the family pool, which was absolutely perfect for our group with children. The service we received was truly exceptional

Castillo, the bartender at the preferred family pool, went above and beyond every single day. He quickly learned all of our drink orders and always had our favorites ready

Rooms and property were excellent! One issue I had was the buffet food. If it was supposed to be cold it was warm if it was supposed to be warm it was cool

We just spent a week at the incredible Dreams Onyx Resort with our family of 9, and I can't say enough good things about this place

On our last day she made a special towel deco for the kids. Pedro at Expedia counter desk was always friendly and kind. He was so helpful that he upgraded our rooms to family suites for privacy and extra space

We enjoyed this resort and the food selection at the buffet was really good. The paella, seafood and soups were our favourites. My family of three (including a toddler) stayed for 6 nights and no complaints

My family of 33 went to this resort early August, it was gorgeous! Sandy at the front desk is the best. She is so patient and provides amazing customer service. And Pedro the server is amazing as well

At the beach bar, Jonathan was always smiling and have a great time making the cocktails. We will definitely be back for another family break

The room is the only thing that would keep me from coming back. Family Suite that we were in was outdated and the air conditioning in the main room seemed to stop working at night

The hotel grounds beach pool were beautiful, the rooms were average, beds not that comfortable, low grade finishes in bathrooms and rooms, the restaurants were average, but the food buffet (breakfast dinner) was excellent with plenty of variety

New years eve Party was family friendly and a 10! Very fun and lively and free for guests. Scuba caribe snorkelling was great

Food was great, but we had couple of issues one the bathroom door had a crack, and rooms were clean but seemed a little old and couple of nights the fire alarm went off but otherwise we had a great time

I have been to newer RIU properties for eg RIU Ocho Rios in Jamaica and it was beautiful there. But RIU Punta Palace is nice too. But not as new as RIU Ocho Rios. Still enjoyed my time because the staff was wonderful

Over all the resort was great! The food was good! Customer Service was outstanding! The only thing the WiFi wasn’t that great. The Riu party was lit we definitely had a time! I would definitely stay again!

Amazing place to stay with family, great food options and amazing service

I had a great time with my family there. My only problem was at the checkout

When getting ready to leave, you can ask for the bellboys to get the baggage with you back to the lobby in one of the golf cars that they use to move around

People working there were always very helpful whenever assistance was needed. Food was tasty, and the room we booked (suite with swim out) was awesome

The place is very big, so be aware that there will be quite a bit of walking to get to the lobby (where most restaurants are)

Estalin was great and made sure our stay was comfortable and great.

Great first trip to this resort. Check in took awhile as the room was not ready when we arrived, but they sent us to go get drinks/ food at the beach. Love the long pools as it spread out guests

100% recommendable! The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, always smiling. They even gave us a complimentary late check-out because our flight was very late. A big thank you to all the staff.

Plus, since it's not a very large resort, you can easily walk to all the facilities and the various restaurants. The food was very good, with a wide variety and different themed options

Always had a pick of sun loungers! Food at the buffets were good and lots of options especially for vegetarians ( which is usually hard to find at these resorts)

You will most likely need to use the complimentary transport service they offer at the resort. It is at least 1/4 mile from the main lobby to the beach

Trees and grass and flowers were colorful The beach was gorgeous with soft sand The food I the main buffet was really good

The nightly shows were very entertaining - like having our own Coco Bongo experiences! They have an entire team dedicated to entertaining the guests with games and parties, so much to do! The food was fantastic - 5 restaurants to choose from and we never had the same thing for dinner twice! Can’t wait to come back!

Wonderful experience for a family vacation. Teppanyaki at Ma+Suri, and Le Gourmet are the best restaurants here. The buffet food is average, nothing phenomenal, but nearly on par with any buffet back in the states

And the Gourmet was EXCEPTIONAL!! As I don't eat breakfast, they treated my husband with kindness everyday. They also decorated our table with flowers each time we came for dinner

I recommend getting the buffet items they cook in front of you. The other items tend to sit out for a hot minute. 90% of the staff was beyond friendly and courteous

Buffet at beach is the same every day but we switch it up with the Al la carte luncheon in the Gourmet restaurant

I have been to Punta Cana about 16 times and this is one of the best resorts. Great water park for children. Rooms were well maintained and just the right size. We loved the beach and lots of loungers at any time of day

the staff was excellent - curteous and attentive to our needs. The room was beautiful and always kept clean. lots of delicious options and flexible to my famiy's dietary restrictions. Overall, the resort was wonderful

All of the pools were awesome. They need to lend out Different kinds of floats or let visitors know before they get there that they have to bring their own

They really have the patience of saints! They made the pool bars fun and made excellent drinks! Kelvin at the bar in the theater was THE SWEETEST! He was very friendly, had the best smile and always had our drinks ready for us

King size bed, 2 bathrooms, stand up tub, separate shower, 2 TVs. crazy! We also had a swim up room which was amazing. Pool right outside our room, lounge charirs, swim up bars, lounging coverded beds, etc

He made us feel truly special and it was so nice meeting him. We will look for him every time we go! Luis, Jimy and Charley at the adult pool bars were phenomenal

We came for the beautiful property and will continue to come for the wonderful staff that makes you feel like family

Everyday was full of sunshine and beautiful weather. Beach was gorgeous and clean clear waters. The whole resort was nicely laid out and every area was beautiful and nice detail. Restaurants and food was good

Not only does the entertainment team work their butts off on stage, but they run around running activities throughout the day, with enthusiasm, while also having a bit of time to stop and say hello; a fist bump or a high five with a big smile

com provided amazing customer service when I needed to make changes to the guest name on my reservation prior to my arrival, they went above and beyond to make this happen

This is our second year in a row visiting and I think we’ll be back next year. Kids love it and the second year was even better, we easily acclimated and jumped right in with an excursion in buggies, second day there

Water slide and lazy river area is fantastic and well staffed observing safety etc. Eateries by the pools are perfect for a quick meal. Whomever designed this place from Hyatt, fantastic job

The beach has a waves but we actually had fun staying close to shore and jumping whenever the waves pass. The resort is not too large, but also not too small

The property itself is stunning and beautifully maintained, featuring a gorgeous pool area and a breathtaking beach that we enjoyed every single day

Yadenny from the entertainment team invited me to play volleyball and I had a lot of fun. She made my brother and me laugh a lot. Without a doubt, a good experience. Rafal Nadal Pickleball was fun too

The staff here are the reason why people love this place. The customer service is exceptional. The nicest and happiest people I’ve ever met. Alejandro Soriano are the best bartenders and honestly such great human beings

We just returned from a 10-day stay at the Meliá Adults Only Resort in Punta Cana, and the highlight of our trip was without a doubt the incredible staff at the Elyxr Bar

It's rare to find a group of people who make you feel so welcome and appreciated, and we're already looking forward to seeing them again next year
