Dirty and too crowded beaches, everyone wants to scam you and we didn’t swim there, didn’t dare. Just go to Sharm el Sheikh if you want to see a good sea. The hotel is by all means awful, the surrounding areas are not safe and dirty and people outside of hotel don’t seem safe and some of them aren’t, they tried to rob us and grabbed our hands and possessions while begging for money. The noise in rooms is intense and immense, it never stops, the service guy always asks for money and he ordered us a car to airport but it ran on gas, on gas Karl! In sun scorching Egypt. The food wasn’t tasty and I was always watched what I take by the security, I felt very much uncomfortable. And they only work at 7:00 AM (in the morning) for around 1 hour, I woke up cause I just didn’t want to buy local foods and was afraid to go to the supermarket that was far away. Any minute a brick could fall on my head and on my mom’s head, any moment a car could hit us on a highway or any suspicious person could rob us… or worse. So we sat inside. The blankets and sheets weren’t clean. And WiFi… there’s no WiFi or mobile internet in that hotel, a mysterious place. The balconies could lead to fatality once you step on them, any moment, I was always afraid for my mom smoking at the balcony. Worst experience ever, and it’s not only about the hotel, it’s about the Alexandria in general. We didn’t feel safe and stayed inside of the hotel for all our stay as we had to wait for the flight to other city, if we could, we would have left earlier. They also had some tiny bags inside that were jumping in hotel rooms (like lice) and in hall on the first floor cause the door is constantly open and the street dirt was entering the entrance. And it was smelly in their mini lounge and especially in their improvised bar/shop. We had to buy beer to just forget everything that was going on. And it was too weak, I had to buy few bottles to get drunk. That was the only thing that saved us from stress and boredom and bad conditions outside, but we couldn’t even call our relatives or watch YouTube as the WiFi was like about 1G if you compare to 5G, maximum 2G. And no mobile internet at all. It was like the Bermuda Triangle.

Not good old hotel

The worst hotel and the worst service you could find. There is no hospitality. People here do not care about complaints. I am currently in the hotel, room number 712, because I did not book on Booking. There is no interest. I advise people not to try this experience. There are much better places than here. In hospitality, the water is cut off a lot. There is no hot water. The reception needs a reception that is not available.
