Plaza Hotel Alexandria in Alexandria

The experience was terrible. The breakfast was monotonous and unappetizing, and the Americano was poorly made. You have to be very careful when making a reservation. Make sure you don't misspell the name, otherwise they will have an excuse not to allow changes or refunds of the prepayment, and they will make the actual guest pay an additional room fee that is higher than the original price. This is the worst thing about the Four Seasons hotels in Egypt!

The hotel has a great location on the beach, almost in the middle of the Alexandria Corniche. The room is not big, and if you like soft mattresses, look for another hotel. The mattress was very hard. If you can't stand noise, look for another hotel. I could hear traffic noise on the fifth floor, even with earplugs. The light in the room is okay, but old and needs to be changed. However, the room is clean. The bathroom is clean in appearance, but old and needs to be changed. As you can see, there are places on the sides that cannot be cleaned, especially inside and outside the shower. Also, it is difficult to close the shower door because the shower is not stable. The breakfast is okay, but not good. You always don't find spoons, cups, or glasses, and many times they take things from in front of you without asking if you have finished eating or not. {Maybe because they need the plates and other items and they don't have enough!?} The elevator broke down 5 times in a week, and I was always outside the hotel. The internet is not stable and weak if you want to use it for anything important. The service in the hotel is ok and friendly, but some of them need training. The coffee shop in the hotel is ok, but the men's toilet is always not clean and there is water on the floor that needs to be taken care of every hour or two. I always travel to many places in the world and for the price I paid in this hotel, I can find better rooms in more expensive countries and the standard of living. I enjoyed my stay, but I wish it was better. If I do not express my opinion frankly, nothing will change and it might remain worse.

This hotel was just an average experience. The staff and service was above and beyond, however the WiFi was horrible. They had multiple networks and would randomly stop working and would ask you to sign in every time. The AC was barely working as well. The door to the balcony didn’t close properly and would let out whatever air the AC managed to cool. The lobby and the hallways were hot and humid. The water pressure however was great compared to other hotels in Egypt. The best part about the hotel was the location.

Rooms need maintenance.
TV is local within international channels.
The telephone is old and directly.
The bath towels are old and worn out and need to be changed.
If all this has been done, it would be a fantastic hotel

i reserved an executive double-room sea view and expected a much higher quality. the only good thing about the room was the view it was excellent since i was on the 9th floor, but every other aspect of the room did not satisfy me. the beds were much smaller than what i saw in the pictures, there were used towels and tissues left unchanged, and there were unfixed stuff including the TV and the bathroom slide door. the breakfast was fine, but overall the experience could’ve been better.
