Hotels in Luxor Governorate

This was my favorite hotel throughout my entire Egypt trip! Luxor's weather was wonderfully warm, and the room was spacious and comfortable. The sunlight streaming through the sheer curtains was absolutely beautiful. From the balcony, you could see the Nile River right in front, and the breakfast was delicious. If I ever get the chance to visit Luxor again, I'll definitely stay at this hotel.

The rooms are huge, and the hotel offers a shuttle service. The breakfast spread is excellent, and it's quite affordable. Using inDrive for taxis is super convenient for getting around anywhere. If you're not a stickler for details, it's a great hotel. But if you are, then Egypt itself might not be the right fit!

The hotel is located on an island which is not in downtown, close to the airport and a little bit far from famous temples etc., but it is acceptable and quite safe, away from noisy. The facilities are a bit old but still clean. The billboard is not well maintained and can't be used, table tennis and tennis rackets are old, just usable but not enjoyable. The hotel's location isn't far from Luxor Temple, and the buffet was good. We also enjoyed fishing in the Nile, making it great value for money. The river view room offers a spacious view of the hot air balloons across the river, even though it was foggy that day. We also received a complimentary fruit platter upon check-in, and the front desk staff was very warm and attentive.

The hotel has an excellent location, less than 2km from Luxor Temple. You can see the Valley of the Kings and hot air balloons in the early morning from across the river. The room is spacious and the service is good.

Fantastic hotel! We even got upgraded to a partial river view room. Although it's an older property, it's very well-maintained and right on the Nile. The location is also convenient. I'll definitely book this hotel again when I visit Luxor.

Hotel has Beautiful nile view but the facilities are old and out of date, other hotels i stayed in egypt r all provided unlimited bottle of water, but not here. Great thing is the staff at reception very helpful.  Ahemd (if i remember correctly) who is in charge of night shift at reception very welcoming and full of humor. Released our stress from luxor airport to City at mid night  Well done!

The hotel's ambiance is quite nice; if you have time, you can watch the sunrise and sunset over the Nile from the pool. However, the garden view bungalows don't offer much of a view from the window. Breakfast looks plentiful, but it's mostly sauces and cheeses. The service was attentive, but the place is definitely showing its age.

The hotel is a bit run down and the rooms need updating. The plus side of this hotel is the staff do not keep harassing you for tips, unlike the locally owned hotels. The hotel is located right by the road, and it seems like a lot of Chinese guests stay here. There's a KFC to the left of the hotel that's cheap and tasty.

The environment is great, and the Nile view is absolutely beautiful! The room is clean and tidy! Waking up early to enjoy breakfast while watching the hot air balloons rise over the Valley of the Kings across the river is indeed a wonderful experience!

Small room with extremely small balcony. (We not booking the cheapest room) Old amenities and essentials. Very disappointed at Luxor Hilton. Not value for money at all. It’s also true that you get to see hot air balloons in the morning. However, the view is not that worth it.

The staff were friendly and helpful! I was astonished by their ability to speak several languages. The hotel/resort itself was very relaxing, particularly after long days of visiting historical sites. Highly recommended.

It is a very beautiful resort, and the best in Luxor. Enjoyed the spacious compound and view of the Valley of the King and Nile River from the hotel resort. The staff has been very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. I like the spa, thermal area and infinity heated pool, which was the most relaxing experience. Highly recommended stay.

Everything was perfect, but the gym was too old, some machines didn’t work

I recommend to put the request to get a new renovation room, it’s will perfectly like the photo. The hotel located in the city center and right next to the Nile, there are KFC close by. I don’t recommend to try the Chinese restaurant in the hotel There actin chinese they don’t know how to do fried rice I guess turn out very bad. But the Italian was so good in my option. I really enjoyed staying at Iberotel. I spent almost all of my time in Luxor at the hotel. I enjoyed the sunset every day. The only thing I was dissatisfied with was the breakfast menu, which lacked variety and was the same every day. But that was compensated for by the beautiful view

Although it's an older, well-established local hotel with an excellent location, the room facilities are quite dated. The river view is also inconsistent, with some rooms having obstructions. Is not a fancy hotel but is perfect, clean and great service. Location is very good, near the Luxor Temple and plenty of taxis at the doorstep. They have a Travel agency which works very good (a bit pricey) and accomodate to your needs providing good service. Nice swimming pool, gym and massage. We loved our stay at Aracan Hotel in Luxor. The hotel is in a perfect location, offering beautiful views of the Nile and easy walking access to attractions like Luxor Temple and nearby restaurants. The building may look a bit old, but the rooms are clean, and the staff are very professional. Relaxing at the café in the hotel garden feels especially rewarding after a long, tiring day. Very friendly staff at a good value for money hotel. It could do with a healthy dose of renovation. Breakfast is good value for money, especially in this neighborhood. Sayed Abrahim at the poolside bar was a wonderful host. A good restaurant (unlike the current one), a (working) coffee machine and a lift that doesn’t scare you to death would be a marvelous addition. Still, would definitely rebook!

Room was clean but the furnitures are very old. Rooms from inside should be renovated . The regulator of ac is broken. Not sufficient lights. For the price it should be a bit better. You can see the Nile room the balcony, if you choose "River side". The location for sightseeing is also good. The building was very old, and equipment was not in good condition, too.

The New Pola Hotel is a good choice, especially if you value cleanliness and a GREAT internet connection. The Nile view is also a big plus. However, the significant noise from the road is a serious drawback. If you are sensitive to noise, you might want to consider other options.

Nice hotel, friendly staff. The rooms were cold; I stayed in December, there was no kettle, and the air conditioning didn't work. However, they brought a warm blanket, and the staff responded very quickly to my requests. That was nice. The Karnak Temple is about a 15-minute walk away.

It was nice to have a supermarket next to the hotel. It was far from the city center, so I had trouble exchanging money, but the hotel did it for me. However, the exchange rate was poor. My flight was early in the morning, so when I told them I would be leaving before breakfast started, they made me a bento for breakfast. The owner was kind. The sunset nearby was beautiful.

It's a beautiful hotel with beautiful hearts on the west bank of Luxor. It was a 20 min drive from the airport and 15 min drive from Karnak Temple. The view from the rooftop is amazing both morning and night! Great local breakfast too. The room was very clean and basic toiletries were provided.

The hotel photos on Trip.com really don't do it justice; the garden is absolutely beautiful, and the pool is great too. Breakfast starts at 5:30 AM and can even be packed to go, so you don't have to worry about missing out on breakfast if you're heading out for a hot air balloon ride.

An incredible choice for Luxor, clean, terrific location for sites & market, unbelievably helpful staff, fantastic views from the restaurant. Their taxi service to the airport is one of the cheapest, safest and most reliable around. Budget $2-$3 for someone to take your bags to your room, as there is no lift. Highly recommended!

Utterly magical. One of the most special hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Every touch was exquisite, every corner was beautiful. The restaurants were all lovely with thoughtful service. A highlight was visiting the farm - ostriches, buffalo, deer - and feeding the camels! We enjoyed every minute and never wanted to leave.

It's tired, and I'm not sure you would really want to use the pool! The room was essentially windowless, as you just looked at a brick wall. The breakfast room was in the basement, and was not great. We stayed here for a total of 3 days. Friendly staff, clean rooms, comfy beds. For a 3 star hotel it's above average. Good for the money you pay for. I only didn't like the breakfast that much

American Teacher's Egyptian Weekend in Luxor Luxor was a weekend getaway and we needed an affordable place to stay. I found Philippe Luxor Hotel to be a charming, albeit older hotel, with an amazing staff who catered to our every need. We fell in love with them.

Location and price are its only two advantages. The environment and hygiene are really bad; showering is inconvenient, the water pressure is extremely low, hot water is intermittent, and while there is Wi-Fi, it's poor and connecting is a hassle.

Although we arrived earlier than the check-in time, we were shown to our room immediately. The bathroom was spacious and clean. We used towels and towels we brought with us, so we're not sure if there was body soap or a hairdryer.

The location is fantastic, so good that you can walk to practically anywhere you want to go. A key tip: the hotel is only 500 meters from the bus station, so there's no need to take a taxi.

The stay at Shadi Hotel was exceptional. The staff were extremely friendly, and everyone offered help with genuine sincerity, not out of obligation. Mr. Abdullah, the hotel manager, personally followed up on the service regularly, which made us feel a strong sense of familiarity with both the place and the people.
