First thing you notice when arriving at Luxor is the hassle on the streets. First thing when arriving by ferry at the East Bank of the Nile is the absence of hassle. Diners and supermarkets are away a relaxing 5 minutes of walking only.

That doesn't stop your caring host Mohamed from taking you on a short tour around the neighborhood by car. In fact, little will stop him to make sure you're okay. Ranging from checking in with you and the taxidriver he provided for you during your day trips to arranging your departure and giving accurate information about fair prices to pay in Luxor.

The apartment is spacious, clean and has a nice balcony with some view over the valley's green agricultural area. The beds are comfortable, bathroom is everything you expect from a bathroom and the interior is more than basic, making it easy for you to feel at home fast.

Something you don't like about the apartment? Don't drop a star in your rating, because I'll know you simply failed to tell Mohamed about what bothered you :)

Thanks for everything Mohamed!

(Please apply to the above review the facts that I traveled on low budget through Egypt and that it's my humble opinion that accommodation is a place to rest up for a day of outdoor activities. Not to stay in all day while raiding your minibar after claiming a poolside chair with the same color towel as every other guest before 7am without even knowing if you'll ever make it to that same chair for anything else than picking up your towel at day's end. Yours truly)

1. Close to the Valley of the Kings, with several attractions nearby.

2. Newly renovated.

3. My complaint is that the hotel was dishonest. I booked a 99-square-meter room but received a 30-square-meter room instead of a suite. Do they think Chinese people are easy to exploit? The hotel claimed I had the largest room, but I discovered the next morning at breakfast that there were definitely larger rooms upstairs. Breakfast was included, but there were no vegetables or fruits, only bread and fried eggs. After breakfast, the water and electricity were cut off – utterly ridiculous.

4. The navigation was inaccurate; Google Maps is more reliable if you go there yourself.

5. I must praise Ctrip; they resolved the issue promptly after I reported it. It was already 3 or 4 AM in China, and I was very touched by this.

The above is my honest review for your reference.

Our room was big and beautiful, but it was a bit dirty. You could tell the floors were not cleaned for sometime. The shower tub would leak water, and it would spread on the floor. So if you used the toilet, you would have to step on it. The breakfast could have been better with more options. We didn’t get any options.

The room was great, the location is a bit far out from luxor town but is 100% worth it bcs you could enjoy the views of the hot air balloons overhead during breakfast. Mohra helped us well with even setting up shuttle service to the station and a hit air balloon ride in the morning (separate charge). Overall great stay, would recommend.

I’m happy to stay here and everyone here are so welcomed. Transportation to the location could be kind of difficult bue to road still not build well. Can see hot air balloon rising from balcony.

The receptionist, Ms. Mohra, was wonderful, kind, and attentive. She did everything possible to make sure we had a wonderful stay. The room was clean and spacious, and the shower and bathtub were amazing! It was very quiet and the breakfast on the rooftop was wonderful. We could see the hot air balloons from there during breakfast. It is very updated and modern.

The room was spacious and clean, offering great value for money. The hotel staff were also very helpful. Highly recommended; the rooftop terrace offers views of the Valley of the Kings.

The hotel is a modern house, and the facilities are quite nice, but it's far from the city, and getting out of the house is complicated. No Uber driver wants to take you, and even if you request one, they'll accept the ride but try to charge whatever they want. The hotel claims to have transportation, so we paid for it to get out, and it cost 20 euros. The car was in terrible condition. I really don't recommend staying at that hotel.

The room was amazing. Well kept secret. The staff was friendly. I learned some Arabic during breakfast. My lunch was made fresh. Traditional meal that was great. Mohra a beautiful human that was kind and helpful throughout my stay. A nice experience!
