Everything you could need from a place to stay without the unnecessary extras. Large rooms. Clean linen. Great breakfast. Great location by train bus and car access to city and airport.
The hotel rooms are very clean, the staff is super friendly, parking is free, the beds are comfortable. Unfortunately, the walls and doors are very thin, you hear every step in the hallways, at every time of the night. The bathroom is very basic, only has a curtain around the shower, which you can't close without it doing the snuggle. The breakfast is very basic, but the room is nice and features a...

Huoneen puhtaudessa olisi ollut parannettavaa. Lattialla oli pölyä ja hiuksia. Sijainti oikein loistava ja palvelu ystävällistä.
Rooms is normal, location is very central and convenient. Good breakfast and big lobby
Dirty room (finger nail and sticky stuff on bedside table, hair in bathtub). Pool only open 5pm-9:30pm - so basically during dinner time. TV also doesn’t work with Apple devices (only Chromecast) - a minor but additional annoyance.
When checking in you have to draw numbers and wait as they don’t have enough staff.
The positive:
Location is central. They have a pool - it might feel a little cold,...
Wonderful hotel we booked on a trip.com deal. For a 1 - 3 night stay the hotel is perfect, very elegant entrance and clean throughout. The beds were comfortable, the washroom was modern, and the room even had a tiny kitchenette. I have to say the room was slightly smaller than I was expecting but for a couple + a toddler on a short stay, it suit us quite comfortably. The breakfast was rich in variety...
Love this hotel, staff couldn't be more friendly and amazing. We lost our bags and they went above and beyond to help us out. The buffet breakfast is amazing, so much variety and something for everyone. Great location, museum across the road, shopping centre behind, so many food choices around and only a 10-15 min walk to alot of places. My favourite part: the bathroom floor is heated 😍 would definitely...
Very spacious hotel and comfortable bed!
However the location is quite an uphill walk even though it is 8-12 minutes, and Helsinki roads are not the smoothest.
The bathroom provided a mop which became obvious why later as the area outside the shower will flood as there is a gap between the doors. The first night I wet the bathroom mat entirely which was unpleasant as the floor became wet and cold
The hotel is located near the train station and the attractions are within walking distance.
Easy checkin to the apartment. Clean room with full apartment facilities, washing machine and basic cooking available.
Good lots of tv channels for entertainment
Easy access to Metro and city centre
Will recommend for future stay
location is easy to find , we had breakfast including just opposite to the building great choice for the start of a day
This hotel is a B&B, but the conditions are OK and the rooms are relatively large. We booked a suite with a kitchen and dining utensils. It is very close to the train station, only a 5-minute walk away, and it is quiet in a bustling city. Overall, it is good!
I traveled with my friends and we spent good time enjoying the spa, cooking, and sleeping at the hotel. I will definitely stay at the hotel if I have a chance to visit Helsinki.

A bit tired‑looking hotel, but everything works. The ventilation in the room was noisy, so I had to use earplugs. Clean sheets and towels, all good.
cozy service appointment
easy to contact staff via text messages
My hair dryer broke, so I called, but unfortunately I couldn't get through because it was Christmas.
There's nothing else to complain about, just that it's a bit far. It's a 10-15 minute walk from the train station, and it was a bit tough dragging luggage up the slope. This is an older apartment, but all the facilities are complete. There's a fridge, an iron, a microwave, and a kettle. Overall, it's considered clean, even though it's genuinely old.
No transparency about amenities like stove in kitchen even it shows in room booking, very old model TV has no features, only local channels played. It has to be refurbished.Although the location is very good and charges are very nominal according to other properties.
Thanks
This is a self-check-in apartment; there's no front desk staff, and you enter the room using a password. The room has a kitchenette with a microwave for heating food. The location is average, but it's a 10-15 minute walk to the city center and train station. The apartment price is relatively affordable for a capital city.
All went nice and smooth
Apartmen was nice and clean.
Very clean, clear instructions for everything and nothing to complain
Great stay near Hakaniemi
We (2 adults and 2 kids) very much enjoyed our stay at this place which was clean and very convenient to getting to the main sites in Helsinki nearby. Access to Hakaniemi was also a big plus. Would definitely stay here again.
It was a Eurooean 2 bed apartment. The porblem we didnt like is goig though 1 bedroom going to a an area with a murphy bed. That was just a partial curtain between the 2 which didnt give any privacy. Also ther were doors that hit each other in tge entry. 2 of them coujd becremoved soyou dont smack yoir fingers.
I like these sort of stays, and used Forenom in other cities. This one is in an block, it looks a bit tired outside, and you need to make sure to recognise that there are 3 different blocks of rooms, A, B, and C, and your room will be described as 15B or 34C and access is only through the relevant door.
My apartment was nice, plenty of space and comfortable. It was a little grubby in places, the outside...
I stayed in the women's dormitory.
Overall, it was warm and comfortable. I didn't find any bedbugs.
The location is great, and it's possible to walk to most of the main downtown area.
The nearest station, Sörnäinen Station, has a government safety advisory, so women in particular may want to avoid going out at night. It's summer now, with long hours of daylight, so I didn't particularly mind.
Check...
I arrived late at night, but there was a detailed explanation about late check-in, so there was no problem!
The room was warm and the street was relatively quiet. It is in a good location with easy access to both the subway station and the bus stop.
It's a cute hostel. It has a Sauna can be booked. There are many supermarkets and restaurants around. It's surprise me one supermarket opens 24 hours. Bes is comfortable, and the staffs are friendly and helpful. Location is good. The tram 7 is just cross the street. The tram 7 goes directly to the west terminal.
The location is good, there are several restaurants and supermarkets nearby. A big and equipped kitchen. I didn't use it, but it looks good. The bed is comfortable than I thought. The 24h opened alepa surprised me. Easy check in and check out. Can store luggage before check in.
Great hostel in a good location, very close to Talinn ferry and walking distance to port and city center. Clean, comfortable room, good shared bathroom and kitchen, nice staff, good wifi.
Very close to the port, making it convenient for those arriving from Stockholm or Tallinn. My single room didn't have a private bathroom, which was a minor inconvenience as I had to use the shared facilities outside the room. However, the room itself was clean.
Staff were very nice location is good but not close to main city, showers have no locks and the heating doesn’t really work sometimes
I only stayed for one night. It's a bit of a walk from Helsinki Central Station, but even for a man in his mid-50s, it's within walking distance. The room was basic, just a bed, a locker, and a desk, and the shower and toilet were shared facilities. You can cook your own meals, and there's a buffet breakfast available at the hotel's restaurant in the morning. The person at reception was very kind and...
Eurohostel has a very convenient location, making it easy to get around the city. I have traveled all over Europe, and this is honestly one of the top three best hostels I’ve ever stayed in.
The rooms are spacious, with large lockers that are free to use, which is a big plus. There are three well-equipped kitchens, so cooking is easy even when the hostel is busy.
In the morning, guests can enjoy a...
Well managed hostel, free luggage storage, good location, free sauna is a bonus :)

I spent a few nights in one of the shared dorm and found the stay fairly good overall. The dorm was tidy, and it was useful that each bunk had a power socket. There was also a spacious locker for each guest, operated with the room key. I came across comments raising concerns about locker security, so that may be worth keeping in mind.
There is a shared kitchen for guests to use. Having a supermarket...
Simple hostel, just what I needed. Some social activities organized by the hostel. Not very crowded on Saturday in January
Just 10mins from the city centre by tram. I got a 1Day-pass so it was very convenient. The room is clean. There is 24h supermarket next to the hostel. Highly recommended.
Great location, close to tram station. The hotel room was clean but the toilet was just okay. Has 24/7 front desk
So great staffs. And a lot of fun activities. We really like this clean and tidy room.
All good, I would like to praise the two guys for keeping the hygiene etc for the whole place spick and span from kitchen to rooms. They are doing an excellent job tidying/cleaning it.
Even though the location is served by trams and buses, it's still a bit far from the city centre and public transport is a quite expensive for a single trip.
The window was really drafty, the curtains fluttered when you opened the front door.
I was living in this hostel for about 6 months. Rooms are approximately 10 m2 by size (no difference between single and double rooms). There is a TV, a coffee maker and a kettle and also a fridge in every room. Basic dishes in every room included.
Kitchen and the bathroom are shared. In the kitchen there should be some basic pan and kettle to prepare food. Sometimes those are missing or you need to...
The room was clean, but the toilets and hallway were quite dirty, but understandable when everyone uses the same toilets. The shower room could have a trash can and paper to wipe hair and other dirt (there was a razor blade cover) off the floor drain grate before taking a shower.
Those who come to Finland, Helsinki who don't have any one any relatives, friends ,family. I will better recommend to stay in the hostel . You will get you own privacy your own peace no any discussion with any one.
And The room that I stayed was very big and it was a entire biggest room of the hostel. The hostel is peace and silent. I stayed there for a year. I really liked this place and it has my...
Overall is ok, for the money value. However, some basic repair or common spaces ( doors, locks in wc, bathrooms) would give better impressions.
Excellent service. Public transport close by. Rooms are nice and clean in a quiet neighbourhood. Also good for long term stay. Personal is very friendly and absolutely helpful. Supermarkets close by.

Basically this place would have quite some potential, alas seems to be run down, not maintained and not cared for.
I did nor like the kitchen ,it was unsanitary ,refrigerator was filrhy and putric smell.. no dishes ,no eating utensils pots and pans were filthy
Personnel was not un kind. The rooms were not dirty. It is 40min away from the city centre by bus. For the price (I paid 20€ during a weekend on high season) I would come. Only thing could be better for me is more ventilation in the rooms.
I can't in good faith give this place 4 stars, but I would give it it's a solid 3: it's what you expect for the price, yet it could be better. I would call this a motel rather than a hotel.
Cons:
• The curtains don't fully shut, and the blinds have a couple holes in them;
• The insulation is poor. The humidity reached 94% one night, and it was awful to sleep in. A fan had been provided, which wasn...
Totally great and non restrictive easy going staff. Great people economical. Great parking. A breath of fresh air away from the center and 40 euros a day parking. Close to everything
Good for an overnight stay. Our third time here once trying to catch first ferry to Tallinn. Perfect location.

Pleasant but very large and busy campsite. Sanitary facilities are in good condition, but not always clean due to the number of campers. Close to Helsinki metro station, ideal for a day trip.
Everything you need is here — showers and toilets (very clean), a kitchen, a laundry room with dryers (€5 per token), a playground, a beach, and a BBQ area.
Keep in mind: open fire and barbecuing are only allowed in the wide camper van parking areas. Disposable grills are not permitted.
We used a gas stove.
Quiet hours are from 23:00 to 06:00, and no vehicle entry is allowed between 00:00 and 06:0...
It's quite a big camp (too big for my liking that's why 4 stars). Toilets are okay but nothing special (feels somehow "industrial"). It's quite clean too.
We were there with a tent and they have some really nice tent spots.
We arrived directly from the ferry here. Earlier than 3pm and that was no problem at all. Very friendly , helpful und caring. The spot is very well organised and clean. We booked the bigger plot close to the metro and even there it wasn’t loud during the day. The showers and toilettes are super clean and nice warm water.
We booked the sauna, a nice big sauna with a shower and cooking options. Lake...
A fabulous campervan and campsite. They really have thought of everything that you may need, away from home. A very easy cycle ride into Helsinki city centre and an easy metro ride (currently running a bus service for the first couple of stops due to renovation works on the rail bridge)
Very nice cottage and very good service when checking in with car and the trailer. We could park also the trailer near the cottage. Thank you. Just that friday evening it was raining, so a bit difficult to find our cottage. 10 points. 👍

Just 10 minutes walk from the train station. Helsinki is small so most of the museums and sights are in a walking distance from the hostel. The hostel is on the second floor and has no elevator. Beautiful well equipped kitchen with free tea and coffee. Friendly and helpful staff. The Wi-Fi worked well also in the dorm. Bring your own padlock for the lockers. It was free to store the luggage the...
I stayed with friends for 1 night in this hostel in Helsinki in a triple room. The shower and toilet were shared. The hostel is centrally located in Helsinki and a quick walk to all the interesting sights in town. It's a 3rd floor walk up and one of the smaller sized hostels I've been to, with only about 15 guest rooms. The common area is very comfortable and there is always someone at the reception...
Stayed here for 12 nights while attending the Wolrd JR. Hockey Championships. First time for the both of us staying at a Hostel, what a pleasant surprise and a fantastic stay we had at this hostel. The staff are so friendly and are always there to help you. It's a very clean hostel , as far as the WI-FI , WE had no trouble at all . Hook up to Hostel 22 and you should be great. Probably the best hostel I’ve ever stayed in! Really clean and quiet. Lovely kitchen and common area. Many toilets and showers- that were also clean. Staff were very nice and the location is right in the city centre. Would return
The hostel is excellent, the rooms are large and super comfortable, with great beds and curtains that make it even more comfortable to sleep well. The shower is very good, there is a hairdryer and the kitchen is really cool!
It was really great.
My only problem was with trip.com, which didn’t send my details to the hostel, so I didn’t have the door code when I arrived, and there was no one at reception...
There is a large common area and clean kitchen. The room is cozy as well. The only thing is the entrance of the hostel is not easy to find.

Super empty in Winter, nice chats with host, clean, right next to ferry, ferry runs also late at night, so easy access to City Center and Suomenlinna is just great for Walking.
The hotel on Suomenlinna Island was clean and had strict rules, so it was a comfortable stay. However, I was not sure if they provided towels or if I had to pay for them, so be careful.
The best place ever. Location is fantastic. I was in the female dorm. Huge windows with beautiful curtains and wonderful views. Coffee tea on the floor. Huge place to sit (dining as well as sofas etc) and relax, read. Plenty of books. Fridge to store food. On the 1st floor kitchen with fridge.
I was at the hostel only for 1 night but I used the amenities and enjoyed the island emmensly.
Big store...
Reasonably priced and suitably cozy, close to everything.
Great place to stay.
A very old historical building(Once a russian school on a fortress)You have to get ferry there but runs very regular.Great experience.Imaculately clean.Great staff. If I had to find a negative maybe some of it looks dated. But its a very old building.I would definatley return.

Inntourist hostel
Was within easy walking distance to city centre, as it's a tower building on 9th floor ensure you get building code if arriving late as it was all locked up when I arrived and had to wait for another guest to let me in, otherwise comfortable rooms and decent shower rooms at an affordable price
For the price, it was decent accommodations. Nothing fancy, but everything you need. My only complaint was the temperature, though the unit has central a/c, there is no control of the temperature and everyine in my party was hot and had sweaty nights.
The hotel was good for solo traveller cost also cheap
a bit hard to find the location and unclear instructions, other than that, everything is great.
I was worried about whether I could get into the room, but I was able to contact them using WhatsApp, which I installed in Japan. The room had a refrigerator, a water heater, cups, forks, etc. It was a convenient location.
