The Originals City, Hôtel Colmar Gare in Colmar

We had really good experience. The room was perfectly clean. A big plus is they have flooring instead of carpets which feels much cleaner. A big plus is we could already check in at 12:00.
Our room was in the 3rd floor facing the trains but with windows closed I didn’t notice anything of it. Service was helpful with everything. Good location.

It's within easy walking distance of the station, allowing you to roll your suitcase. The location is also great, as it's within easy walking distance of La Petite Venice.
The room was clean and nice, but the air conditioning didn't work properly or was difficult to control, so the room was a little hot.
It's located next to the train tracks, so there is noise when trains pass by, but I didn't find it particularly bothersome and it didn't disturb my sleep.
The room key is a physical key rather than a card key, so having to leave it at the front desk every time you go out was a bit of a hassle.
The breakfast wasn't bad, but the value for money wasn't great.

Although you can hear the train passing at times, it wasn't a big issue. It was a good stay

The hotel is right next to the railway, about 8 minutes walk. Our room faces the railway and the noise is a bit loud. Even with the double-layer French windows closed, there is still noise. People with poor sleep should not choose this hotel. We stayed for one night for convenience and didn't care. Not all rooms have small balconies, but we are still very lucky. There is a Carrefour supermarket behind the hotel, which is about 20 minutes walk from Little Venice. If the weather is good, you can walk there.

Clean room within walking distance of all the main attractions. Staff were super friendly and helpful - they treated me well as a solo traveller even though they had a very large group staying too. The AC was very amazing! I also had a lovely view from my room.

It's about a 10-minute walk from the train station and about a 10-minute walk from Little Venice. When I first arrived, I thought I had booked a room too far from Little Venice! But when I entered the tourist area, I found that it was all cobblestone roads, and it might be troublesome to drag luggage. I was glad that I booked a room near the station, with flat roads, easy to pull luggage, and a flat elevator, so I didn't have to carry luggage...
Breakfast is 13 euros per person, I personally think the cost-effectiveness is low, I suggest eating breakfast outside (the price is similar and richer) For solo travelers, this hotel is worth booking, it's very convenient to move alone... You can also rent a car from Avis at the train station and drive to the suburbs, and parking at the hotel entrance is free! Great 👍
As for the room, it's the same as the photo. I live in the top floor room, which really has angled windows and is very retro... In terms of price, it should be considered a hotel with a high cost-effectiveness in Colmar! Recommended 👍

700m from colmar station but straight distance and easy to go there. The room is big and convenience.
