Les 3 Vallées, a Beaumier hotel in Courchevel

Update: there is a hotel and residence adjacent to each other and I am reviewing the residence. This was brought to notice by a staff comment.

Must Read: The residence does not come with amenities or toilet paper, you will have to buy them elsewhere.

I was lucky to be here when the Olympics were happening outside our window. No ticket cost! Aside from this, here is the actual review:

The room is incredibly large and spacious with 2 floors and 4 beds (5 if counting the sofa bed). The spa and Jacuzzi next door are also available for use. It offers ski in and out with a few routes from the ski area to get in. Instructions will be at the end if you need that. Staff are welcoming. There is no room service included. Elevator sometimes does not work, but is repaired quickly; usually by the next day. The heaters are hard to operate. The one in the upstairs bathroom is turned on by pulling the string. It is operated by a rotating timer, but if you need to turn it off, locate the metal connected to the string and turn it clockwise back up. The other heaters under the wooden boards have their controls on the top, underneath the boards in a very hard to reach place. It is to the right. Try not to turn it on as if you don't know how to turn it off using the correct dial, it will more than likely burn you.

Ski in instructions:

Green route (easy): Follow the green route from Verdon's/Chenus' entrance to Epicea. This is not an easy to spot lift, but it is next to Plantrey. It is neither a chairlift or a gondola, it is like a circular plate that place between your legs that takes you up. From there, has down the green path to your left and cross the road, turn right into the path opposite of the road and on the left is the hotel entrance.

Red route (difficult): The map offers more specific instructions for this so I'll be using the names of the red routes. Same as the green option, go down from the entrance of Verdon/Chenus. Following the green route and a turn or two, you will be looking for Plantrey. At the top of Plantrey, take the red route "Dou du midi" and make a right to "Petit Dou". Head down the same green path as above, across the road, and on your left will be the hotel.

Indoor ski rental, reception takes care of everything and are very helpful.

We spent 5 days on the Hotel, we have been in a few places in courchevel and I have to admit the hotel Trois Vallées is by far the best hotel I've been in courchevel 1850. The decoration was really modern and it didn't feel old like most of the courchevel hotels do. The spa was also pretty good with finnish sauna and hammam, the pool was a bit cold though. The restaurant wasn't anything impressive but it was nice. This rating has 4 stars because some of the workers were a bit vague and lackadaisical.
Summing up, I think our experience was pretty good and we will come back !

Fantastic atmosphere. Great rooms and location. Good breakfast and nice ambiance - especially by the fireplace.
