Not only is the location absolutely perfect, right in the heart of the city, but the staff is also very friendly and always willing to share a good tip with you. The breakfast was also excellent!

Very convenient location, shops and restaurants nearby, room looks exactly like the photos, very clean. Has elevator. Staff were friendly.

While i stayed for 3 nights in a single room and the other 3 nights in a double room, i advise you take the double room if you’re staying for a week like I did because the single room can be a little narrow and small for a longer stay

We only got a small and a large towel for two adults. No extra towel to dry your hands, so I ended up using my small towel for both my hands and to dry myself off after showering. The location is good but that's about it

My husband and I stayed at the Hotel de Paris in early August and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is in a trendy and convenient area, just a short walk from coffee shops, restaurants, the metro, and shopping

This is a great hotel right in the city. The staff are welcoming and helpful and I really want to make a special mention about Jonathan who posted me some of my belongings which I left behind at the hotel

Afterwards, you can look forward to a very rich and delicious breakfast at the hotel. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and we truly appreciated the excellent parking facilities both for our car and our bicycles

We really liked this hotel. The room was clean and large. The breakfast atmosphere was very quiet, and the food was very good. It's a 15-minute walk to the metro station, and you can take the bus right outside the door.

This Hotel is perfect for us for a stop over on our way to Spain or for a stay in Lyon for a few days. Nice rooms, clean, enough space, good service, fantastic breakfast and an underground car park

All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay – even if it was just a short stopover. Many thanks to the wonderful hotel team – we’ll be happy to come back!

An excellent hotel in a great location with outstanding value for money. Perfect for an early morning run along the Saône before the city wakes up

One major drawback: the water from the brand-new walk-in shower didn't drain through the designated channel but spilled under the sink, and there was no squeegee to direct the water to the right place! We were told that the workers had to come back and redo this "failed" shower

This was a nice little hotel, located very near 1 of the main transport hubs in the city and meant all the interesting spots were easily accessible. 8) was very small however that didn’t detract from our stay

Room and hotel had great cleanliness. Staff were lovely and very helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast and the hotel supplied gluten free bread for my partner which was helpful. Would absolutely recommend this hotel

Breakfast seemed quite sparse, and therefore we didn't try it, so maybe we are wrong. The hotel is spread over two floors a without an elevator, so there is a possibility that one has to carry the luggage up a staircase

In the same way, the bathroom door was slightly crooked and had a doorknob that was unreasonably hard to turn for opening from the inside. Our room was facing the inner courtyard and was thus excempt from outside noise

Matilda was exceptional in her customer service. Only negative is there is no lift. Not good for us as no assistance to get luggage upstairs. Will check before booking next time.

Good centrally located, reasonably priced, with decent buffet breakfast. Not keen on the old fashioned big clunky room keys having to be handed in and put on a board which didn't seem to be that secure

Ideal location in the heart of the peninsula, close to metro and train stations and an easy walk to the old city. The hotel was very clean with a modern look and room furniture and bed all new

Our room was advertised as a double bed room, but the bed was an American queen sized bed, which was nice. Also, the bathroom and shower was the biggest we have had in our trip

My partner and I had a last minute stay and Hotel Lyo was the perfect place. From the beginning, each receptionist, including Noémie and Yohann, are warm and welcoming. The rooms felt cozy and beds were very comfortable

A great little hotel, the rooms were nice and clean and beds were comfy. The location is great, very convenient with easy access to public transport and also a walkable distance to main areas of Lyon

It's an easy 5 mins walk from Perrache Bus station. The room is clean, except for flooding at the shower area as the drain is choked. There's also no lift in the hotel. Receptionist are friendly.

Be mindful that there is no lift which can make it difficult with large luggage but it is just one set of stairs so it is manageable

Nice smal hotel not far from the city centre and railway station. Clean rooms, friendly staff. We didn't try breakfast here, since it's a lot of nice options around.

Very clean, really close to Perrache station for flixbus and metro, also with groceries store nearby. But no lift be aware if you have heavy luggage.

Great location right next to a tram stop and super close to the main station. The room was clean and the bathroom very large. We enjoyed the free tea facilities in our room

Nice atrium where you can eat out side if it's fair weather. No elevator but that was okay. Room was a little small but comfortable and well appointed. If this place was between the rivers it would be perfect

Hotel des Celestins is an absolute gem in central Lyon. We found the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the extra touches added to the rooms made us feel at home.

This hotel was in the right place for our needs. We walked through the historic old town and saw everything we wanted without use of a car.

They gave us a room with a fridge, microwave, coffee machine, and stove – all the amenities, but we didn't use them as we were only there for a short transit overnight stay. The breakfast was modest.

This is the hotel I have seen that offers most for the customers !impressive The only point I could pick is that it is not 24 hours reception. When I got there ,it already evening 10pm

Take some walk you can get to metro station then visit many places! Vieux lyon , Fourviere, the halle de Lyon , parc de tete d'or

We understood that there was renovation work underway. Some frames had been removed from the room, but the screws remained on the wall. No hand soap in the bathroom, but we asked at reception

Rooms were larger than others we stayed at in Europe. Room was clean, staff was friendly and it was located in what felt like a quiet safe neighborhood

If you’re looking to spend lots of time in Old Lyon or City Center you’d be better off choosing a hotel closer to that area

I would like to have a kettle in the room. But this was not a problem, because in the reception area you can use both a kettle and a microwave. Also, upon request, we were given cutlery and cups in the room

It was also close to the train station, making it a great location for traveling from Lyon to Annecy. The facilities were clean and the room was spacious. The microwave on the first floor was also great.

The hotel is next to the subway, just up a hill from the subway entrance. It's a bit inconvenient to climb uphill with a big suitcase, but you can see a good view in front of the hotel

The hotel is very close to the White Apple Plaza, and you can see interesting graffiti on the way there. The single room I booked also has a small kitchen with cooking tools, but I didn't use it

The old hotel suprised me a lot in a good way. Rooms are comfortable and definitely worthy of its price! I stayed in a one person room where everything was comfortable and clean.

Located near to downtown Lyon, but private enough in a quiet part on the hill. Gives u a beautiful sight of the city from above. The free parking lot is also super useful.

There are several types of cheese for breakfast, including two types of Presidential brand👍. I will choose to stay here again if I go to Lyon again

The front desk is very polite, and the engineer on duty is also very good. Unfortunately, the elevator is broken. It is very convenient to walk to the art gallery and the city hall

This is a capitalist facility, you can't talk to anyone, especially in other languages then French. But it's a non stop business, so you can book and check in at late hours. The breakfast is a "petit" one.

The room and the bathroom were clean, the mattress and pillow very good, I slept excellently I checked in at the machine at the entrance quickly and safely. I didn't pay for breakfast and I did well

Eggs, toast, frozen pastry, some jams. The only thing that disgusted me were some white spots on the carpet in the hallway on the second floor and a stale and dirty air

We attempted to adjust the temperature settings both up and down in an effort to cool the room, but the temperature remained uncomfortably warm. Ultimately, we had to open the window as an alternative solution

Conveniently located just beside the train station. About 30min to the city centre by foot. Room was cosy but very clean. Bed was extremely comfortable too. Value for the price.

The room is dark, I booked a room with a balcony, but when I arrived, they said that the rooms with balconies were being renovated and offered breakfast for the entire stay

Enjoyed our stay, super friendly staff. Location was perfect for us who enjoy walking to see so much. We may have spent more time relaxing in this hotel reception that any we have ever stayed in.
