The hotel is nice, and the reception staff are very helpful. On the downside, the breakfast fell far short of my expectations for the price.

A beautifully presented hotel. The room was immaculate, as was everywhere else in the hotel. Oodles of hot water in the well-appointed bathroom. Comfortable bed with good pillows. The staff cannot be faulted and I'd like to pay a particular compliment to Arthur, on reception when we checked in, for his service which went above and beyond.

I did not take advantage of the Spa but the hotel is very conveniently located, the rooms and beds are modern but, still quaint and comfortable.

Overall the stay was fine. Needed to change rooms initially because of a noisy generator. Very small fitness area and the sauna/hammam is only accessible for an extra fee. The bed was comfortable, although the water pressure for the shower wasn't great. Staff were nice. Check-out at 12 was convenient.

Disappointing Basic. Beds were clean. Room dated. Bathroom very odd. We had a family room which had a wet room style shower. It was impossible to keep anything in the bathroom dry and it even began leaking outside the room. The shower head was positioned at a very odd angle making it very hard to shower. Great stopover stay…. This was stopover for us, family of 5 driving back to the UK from the south if France. Booked a family room, which had 3 single beds and a double. All family rooms are corner rooms - plenty if space and very clean / comfortable. The hotel bathroom is a little dated but very clean. Great shower over the bath - very powerful. We only stayed here for one night on our way back through France, it is all fairly new interms of the rooms but it is a beautiful old building. The restaurant is very good, with an excellent selection of local wines. There is very limited parking, maybe 6 spaces in the hotel, but almost exactly opposite is an underground car park which is clean and well lit. We lost our ticket for the parking but...

Micro apartment, kitchen inside the room which helps with meals. Extremely unfriendly reception, it seems that it is not a reception, and they give you a code for access. Location is great. It’s a short walk to basically everything: food, bars, shopping…. Room is ok but needs renovation, especially the bathroom. In my room two lights were not working right (periods of flickering ), and the 2 power outlets are not easily accessible, you need crawl on the ground.

Really pleasantly surprised by this hotel Ibis. After a horrendous experience in an F1 in Cannes a week earlier we did not expect any better in an Ibis hotel. Well we were well wrong. I arrived very late and no one was at the front desk. I liked the idea of using a code instead of a card to unlock the room. One of the beds was not made when we arrived. The room was cheap and provided good enough room to sleep for a night or two.

This hotel was wonderful. Room was very clean! Great location, five minutes from the cathedral, easy walking distance from the train station. Comfortable and pleasant. I had read reviews that said the police station across the street was noisy... we were there on Friday and Saturday nights and did not hear a single noise. The woman who checked us in was so nice! The hotel has no air conditioning, as much of all town , because of the cold weather, u need to open the window on the street , you do the math . but the city and the staff of the hotel, especially the manager, are super nice that you make you forget that you are angry.

Clean, comfortable, helpful staff, great location, secure basement car parking not too expensive. But: noisy heating (can be turned off at night); not having tea/coffee making in room is a deal-breaker for me. Bottled water supplied, but not every day.

We liked the spacious room, pleasant lounge area with bar, very good variety of choice for breakfast.

Very nice hotel near to harbour

The only fault was that the tea/coffee making facility in the room wasn't very well stocked. As an English visitor, the choice of an English breakfast tea would have been welcomed as well as the herbal varieties offered. There was also no milk. Whilst I am sure the concierge would have obliged had we phoned, it wasn't so important that we felt to need to call.

Excellent access to the old town and parking is available albeit at a high price per day

I rented a room with my daughter, thankfully for just one night. It was awful; there was a musty smell, I think it was coming from the wall covering. Honestly, first and last time I'll ever rent a room in a studio apartment.

Wonderful confortable hotel across the street from beach . Very helpful team who go head over heels to help you. The spa is nice to relax after your travels. Room with balcony has views of the ocean. The booking went well, but I had to go through booking online because the hotel was not easy to reach. But once booked they were available and very helpful. Our big room for our family is on the upper floor at the end of the building, it is one of the older rooms with worn out carpet and a few sunlight windows. If you are claustrophobic it is not suitable. Disrespectful neighbours were smoking outside the foyer, although it is a non smoking hotel. Wonderful family room that was more than enough space for our family of 5. Great location near the cathedral and town centre. Lovely staff, who were incredibly polite and kind when I had accidentally left without paying. This is a fantastic overnight stop for anyone travelling to the south of France - especially with kids. Close to the station very helpful staff

No parking in the hotel but the city parking was less than 200 meters away and reasonably priced. The hotel is centrally located to the main iconic sites and shopping area. The staff during our visit spoke English, very friendly and accomodating. The room size was suprisingly larger than we had expected and amazingly clean. There were no disturbing noice so we slept well.

Comfortable hotel in Dijon Solo traveller. Stayed at the Victor Hugo on two nights a week apart. A comfortable experience in this traditional French hotel, Very good breakfast. Very quirky - two interconnecting rooms for the price of one! Very simple and basically furbished, beautiful large bathroom and separate loo. We had the garden room (more like a small apartment minus kitchen!) so were woken by the dawn chorus! Considering we were five minutes' walk from the centre of Dijon, this was amazing - so quiet!
