I stayed with 3 friends and we honestly loved our stay at the Escale Oceania in Quimper. The only negative, was that we could only stay for 2 nights.
My room was clean, comfortable and quiet. It was also cleaned and tidied, whilst I was out in the morning.
A decent continental breakfast was provided, with tables cleaned regularly.
The main reason for my delight at my stay, were the staff. All members of staff were a credit to the hotel, being very polite and friendly. However I must give a special thanks to the team on the reception desk. They were wonderful and happy to provide recommendations for some great restaurants. They spoke good English to help me out, as my French was virtually non-existent. However, because I am definitely looking to return next year, with my friends, I am starting to learn french.
Please pass on my thanks and praise and we will see you in 2026!

Excellent staff, always friendly & helpful. Outstanding location one block from historical centre. Lovely spacious room, modern bathroom.
The only negative: parking is not €10/day. The parkade next to the hotel allows 15 min free. But a full day is €16.50 = €33 for 2 days. Luckily street parking up a hill as suggested by reception.

This hotel was wonderful. Room was very clean! Great location, five minutes from the cathedral, easy walking distance from the train station. Comfortable and pleasant. I had read reviews that said the police station across the street was noisy... we were there on Friday and Saturday nights and did not hear a single noise. The woman who checked us in was so nice! Would definitely stay again.

The hotel has no air conditioning, as much of all town , because of the cold weather, u need to open the window on the street , you do the math .
but the city and the staff of the hotel, especially the manager, are super nice that you make you forget that you are angry.

A good location with an easy walk to the centre of the city. Clean comfortable room and an excellent choice available for breakfast.
Two downsides; no decaffeinated drinks available at breakfast and the parking spaces in the car park next door are very small and tight and difficult to access in a large modern car. It was very stressful getting in and out of the car park which spoiled an otherwise excellent hotel stay.

Close to Centre of Quimper with parking nearby.
This hotel is a short walk from the centre of Quimper and there is covered parking within a minite walk for £10 overnight which is locked overnight or free parking nearby as well. Offered a bottle of water on arrival and room was clean and the shower was excellent. There is a small bar and a restuarant which is open only Monday to Thursday. A good stay for a quick trip
