The best part of the stay was the breakfast - it’s a very large hotel with a lot of guests and the breakfast each morning is incredibly organized and has the best spread of any hotel I’ve been to - we didn’t have a line to wait to get food, all the food was stocked and plentiful, great variety including fresh fruit, juices, breads/pastries, even sparkling wine

Upon arrival, we were kindly upgraded to a room with a partial sea view, a welcome gift, and they didn't charge us for a late checkout, which was very kind of them. The room was very spacious with everything we needed

Have stayed at the hotel quite a few times! While no trip is without a few snags, they really will work with you to get to the best solution. Book a sea view room - really is worth it, especially for sunsets

After looking for a beach to enjoy and being disappointed by the options available (all the other hotels had really outdated beach beds) we discovered the Barrière majestic

The location is fantastic – I could walk to almost all the popular spots, and it's super close to both the airport and train station. If I ever come back to Nice, I'd definitely book this hotel again

Nice views to beach from room 122 and from rooftop pool and bar area. Noise from road and planes quite loud if doors are open but if closed then OK. Cons: Far from the old town, a very long walk

The coastline in the early morning is beautiful.

The breakfast were very high quality with a huge selection. The dining room area is very well laid out and includes indoor and outdoor seating. All of the staff were very friendly and spoke good English

My wife and I came here for 5 nights for a “babymoon” celebration, and could not have picked a better location! We were upgraded to a beautiful ocean-view suite with a walk-in closet, balcony and a huge bathroom with a whirlpool tub

Initially, our accommodation was booked by the company in a different area, but as a former hotelier with 18 years of experience and a JW Marriott Marquis associate, I wanted to experience the JW Marriott Cannes

Marriott is Marriott after all; it lived up to its brand value in every aspect. The only downside was that the soundproofing in the rooms was a little poor, but otherwise it was very good.

High level hotel with private beach, nice rooms and good service

The price was higher than any other hotel, but the quality of the service was excellent. They even upgraded our room, and we had a truly wonderful time.

Everything is nearby and walkable. Private beach across the street that turns into a night club at night. Stayed here a week after the Cannes Film Festival in 2016, can't wait to go back!

Fantastic hotel, location and attention to detail and service

Hotel is perfectly located and has own beach across the road (using sunbeds is extra charge). Vale parking and very helpful staff. Restaurant food can be better…

The location for me was a bit far from the city center, you have to walk for like 20 min downhill a bit to reach there, but there are buses that are like 2 steps away from the hotel that take you there and back

The staff were extremely helpful, and the location offers excellent access to Marseille Saint-Charles Station. The food was great as well. I would highly recommend Toyoko Inn for anyone visiting Marseille.

Although there are some steps leading up to the hotel entrance from the street, which might be a bit challenging for elderly guests or those with heavy luggage, you can easily take a flat route by going around the bridge, adding only about 100 meters to your walk

The bathroom was typically Japanese – small and compact, with a bathtub and a bidet toilet seat. Breakfast didn't have a huge variety, but it covered all the essentials

One young lady was even learning Chinese and tried her best to communicate with us in Chinese. The room wasn't large but perfectly adequate, quiet, and comfortable. Bed linen changes and cleaning were prompt

However, I stayed for two nights and felt perfectly safe going out for dinner and shopping in the evening. It wasn't as scary as some rumors suggest; nobody paid particular attention to me after dark

The hotel offers a stunning panoramic view of Angel Bay, and its location is incredibly convenient for getting around. The weather was fantastic during my entire stay, making me want to just relax indoors

Good hotel if it were 3 stars but for a 4 star hotel dissapointing. Gym only 4 machines Total, no weights, swimming pool small and not well maintained. Cleaning ladies extremely nice

It’s an atrium style where the rooms look down into the breakfast / dinner pool area. The breakfast had a lot to offer (freshly made omelettes always a plus!) which was well needed before a full day of adventuring

Perfect experience! The sea view is super beautiful. I also tried swimming and sauna in the hotel. It was really a bit too happy. The hotel is in a very good location, opposite the sea.

The sea view is first-rate, nothing to say. Except for the occasional maintenance noise during the day, it was OK most of the time, and the front desk was very friendly

One of the children in our group was tearful and a female staff member got all of the kids popsicles unprompted to pacify the situation. My daughter forgot her baby blanket that she has held dear for 5 years

This is probably the best hotel that I've ever stayed. I've stayed at their resorts in multiple Hawaiian islands as well as Barcelona, but this was the best. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful

We enjoyed drinks overlooking the sunset on the Mediterranean at night. Great for romantic getaways to families. You can rent e scooters and bikes in the hotel lobby which was an added surprise

If you don’t like it, you can change the room. The room has a large wardrobe, which makes the room look smaller. It should be noted that the hotel does not provide drinking water and slippers

Hotel location: The hotel is directly opposite the airport T1 and can be reached on foot. There are many hotels nearby, and the hotel prices are not much different

If you call the front desk, they will not be available. The rest of the service is still OK! The room is also relatively clean and tidy

She also brought balloons and welcome champagne as it was a special trip with a lovely card from the hotel staff. She was amazing and is a credit to the hotel. Location 7mins to the beach and 7mins to the train station

We stayed for several nights, under a low season (starting Nov 1) deal. The hotel was very quiet except for Friday. The outside is very grand indeed. Inside it has been modernised, but not perhaps to everyone's taste

There are several train stations nearby, so transportation is very convenient. It’s also close to the airport, but the noise wasn’t an issue at all

Traveling during the off-season, the rooftop pool was locked and inaccessible. I had hoped to go up there for photos. The room wasn't particularly large

The restaurant and gym areas are quite appealing and the rooftop pool and bar was nice for a while, but it had a decidedly night-clubby kind of vibe to it (which, I suppose you'd expect from a rooftop pool?) which made for a short visit but it was a nice view and experience for a brief while nonetheless

The surroundings were a bit desolate, and they seemed understaffed. I had to queue for about 20 minutes at the front desk to check in. The pool and lounge were also completely closed

All comfortable, practical , clean and what you need for an overnight stay. The pool was closed as Jan/feb there is no one to supervise and rather cold

We had breakfast included and being gluten free there was more than enough options for me, we spent a lot of time on the rooftop by the pool and the service from all the staff was outstanding, however for us one person in particular stood & that was Az edine, he always went above and beyond to ensure my mother and myself had everything we needed, he greeted us with a warm welcome, remembered our drinks...

It’s all spread out over the whole room so there is a lot of going and coming around :) Overall easy stay for a night , Summers or hot days must be fun with the top terrace/pool thought the view is mostly over the airport ( if you like that)

A great stay - funky hotel on the corniche. The pool was perfect for us to enjoy a last day of r’n’r on our holiday. We enjoyed a fabulous lunch at the hotel restaurant

Nhow Marseille is a serene retreat amid the city’s hustle and bustle. The rooms are spacious, well-equipped, and impeccably clean. We enjoyed a sea-view room, which is a highlight of most accommodations

Hotel is a little way from centre of Marseille but possible to walk to beach and restaurants

What really excels at this hotel is the decor, furniture and general quirkiness of the interior. You will have lots of pictures, the various seat styles were a particular hit

My only disappointment was that the pool was salted water, I had not realised this, but it was a nice pool area with attractive grounds around it

The bed was quite confortable and the breakfast excellent and varied. As for the sauna/hamam they were nice and big but I would have preferred them hotter. The indoor pool very nice as well

We booked this place for the pools, the spa and the parking. Upon arrival we were told the parking is full, we don't have breakfast although I showed proof in app and in my emails

We didn't go to the indoor pool initially because of screaming/shouting kids although there were signs with instructions for a quiet and relaxing area

You need an Uber to get into Cannes unless you want a fairly long walk- usually about €12. Has a swimming pool but that was closed for the winter

I have enjoyed my stay in this hotel very much. I have received a very nice room. Breakfast & dinner were very good. The location was ideal for me, but may be not best for everybody being in an industrial area

We are currently staying at this hotel and I must say that Jerome , Gloria served us at 6am and were very helpfull . Would highly recommend this hotel only for the service provided by them .

It is very close to the train station and attractions, the hygiene and service are good, especially the swimming pool and steam sauna are great. Four recommended, good hotel with good cost performance.

The air conditioning was quite loud and couldn't be turned down very low, so we had to switch it off at night to sleep. Also, the elevator could be slow sometimes, but I guess that's unavoidable in a busy hotel

The staff were helpful, especially when they mixed up our reservation and didn't have our parking spot ready. They found a solution right away, which we appreciated. There were a couple of downsides
