Hotels near sea shore in France

A very decent hotel, I was pleasantly surprised. The location is excellent, the sea is 200 meters away. The hotel doesn't have its own parking lot, but there are plenty of others nearby, but they all require a fee

A pleasant stay in Saint-Maxime. The hotel is centrally located and the staff were pleasant. The room was tidy and they even offer a glass of wine and canapés by the pool in the evening, which was a nice touch.

Not far from the city beach and main streets with restaurants. Unfortunately we got a room with view on the small passage where all outer AC units are, so we basically couldn't open our window due to noise

And for some reason bathtub was slightly smaller, barely had space to move. No balcony so very very limited place to dry the swimsuits or beach towels

Pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff, just in Sainte Maxine's center. Every evening a glass of wine for the guests.

When we were arriving, there are many families waiting for their rooms, there was not enough waiting chair, although the staff was trying their best to check everyone in

Comfortable hotel but on outskirts of Antibes A ‘premier inn’ style hotel. Room was comfortable and the kids enjoyed the pool. Shame there was no balcony or windows to open

The best hotel ever!!! Perfect located for children and next to train and beach. The restaurant could have a little bit more variated meny

It was a good, kids friendly. The pool has a life guard all the time and you can borrow floaters for your kids. The breakfast was good, some variety! We enjoyed our stay and the staff were very friendly.

Very close to Biot MRT Station. You need to ask the front desk for a hairdryer. The service staff is very friendly and the price is high! It used to be a hotel near Ocean Park, but the park is now closed.

If only the bed could’ve been more comfortable, that would be great Edit: A welcome drink would be appreciates too

While I was in Cannes 6 days I stayed here 3 days and stayed downtown 3 days. If I could go back and stay here all of 6 days I would have and if I ever go back to Cannes this likely where I will stay

Cons: free wifi in the apartment was pretty none existent, I was barely ever connected. The reception is only open during specific hours so there could be long wait

Although it was tad away from downtown, bus no 2 and 1 and 22 was available throughout the day and it took approximately 5-10 min to get to downtown by the port

It’s very close to the bus stop where regular buses ran like clock-work and there are good grocery shops nearby. I will definitely be back next year!

The location couldn’t be better — just a few steps from the beach and the famous Promenade des Anglais, and also close to plenty of restaurants, cafés, and shops. It’s ideal if you like exploring Nice on foot

Good value Very small room. Beds comfortable. Tiny clean en-suite Curtain wasn’t quite wide enough for window so night’s sleep disturbed by street lights outside. Good value Courtyard garden appreciated.

Very nice boutique hotel located close to La Rue Anglais and Old town. Clean well appointed rooms- including updated bathroom with towel warmer. Staff were very friendly and available especially Kurt at the desk

The atmosphere of the whole hotel is peaceful and cozy, a perfect little haven in the city. For the price and the location, I think it’s excellent value. I’d definitely stay here again the next time I visit Nice

Loved the eclectic decor, areas to hang out and how quiet the hotel was in such a busy neighborhood. Breakfast was good and had a nice selection of food to start your day

The toilet seat is also mottled, which affects the appearance but does not hinder use

Great location for everything we needed (bike shop, post office) and short walk to all the action on the port

It's very close to the train station and not far from the pier. It's a bit like a youth hostel. The shampoo and shower gel are included, but it's hard to lather your hair. I recommend bringing your own shampoo

Location was excellent for me since it was my first time in the city. It was easy to navigate to main attractions.

Amenities included Chromecast, Nespresso pods, a towel warmer in the bathroom, robes, and slippers. The hotel also features a spa with an indoor pool and whirlpool. Service was professional and considerate throughout

We also enjoyed the relaxing spa area with a heated pool (though the sauna was out of order during our visit), and had a great drink at the cozy bar one evening

Not a place to relax in as there are no appropriate seating areas. Rooms are well kept and lots of space. Again in our room only one relaxing chair. Another chair could give it a more flexible place to stay

Really enjoyed my 6-day stay at the C2 Hotel! The staff were amazing and so helpful. The location is great - A bit away from everything so you get the quiet, but still walkable to most points of interest

We have very good memories of our time on the C2 in Marseille. Regarding the reception, we were warmly received and very well advised on walks and restaurants. The bedroom is very comfortable, we had a large double bed

We were greeted at the door, assisted with our bags, and accompanied to our room. Housekeeping was attentive, and even though we only stayed the one night, we appreciated the evening turndown service

For price/ value this place is unbeatable. Had a perfect stay at this property last week. Friendly staff at the reception, super well located, and the rooms are totally fine, even with balcony and view of the port

Accommodation is near tramstation Jean Mèdecin, just 5 minutes walk in, clean, and the people was nice. The Breakfast tasted gut. Near city center, near Nice Bassilica, Near Beach. The best

The frontdesk personnel are welcoming and helpful. Cons: Hair air dyrer is weak. bathtub have cracks, but wasn’t really bothered by it that much. Toilet seat on another room while bathroom and sink on another room

Location is great close to pretty much everything: lovely local bakery/cafés, local small gardens, restaurants, few min walk to the beach,old town,train station,airport tram is 5min walk

They went above and beyond—personally helping me with restaurant reservations, beach club suggestions, local tips, and even little touches like recommending the best walking routes and hidden gems around Sainte-Maxime

Just a short walk to the beach, the marina, and all the shops and restaurants—yet tucked away enough to offer a peaceful retreat

It was perfect for the price and the location. Everything is so close and the breakfast was very good. If you don’t want to walk up stairs with your luggage this is one thing to consider but it’s a very easy 3 minutes

People are really nice here, The only issues are that the window in the room is not airtight, which makes the room cold during winter, and that the hot water pressure in the shower is quite low

This hotel is beautiful and quite unique with its different buildings and the large garden in the middle. The hotel's own parking is a real bonus! And finally, the breakfast was perfect! I hope to return soon!

Stayed here for a solo trip. Hotel is recently renovated and rooms are excellent - comfortable bed, good shower, quiet. Had a nice balcony to the rear of the property too. Staff were lovely - really helpful.

Rivoli We choose the small room so was very tiny but if you are organized and doesn't have large bags it can work. The room was cleaned everyday even the shower areas which was nice. The staff is kind and friendly

Small, European rooms and bathrooms as is expected, but very comfortable and had everything we needed. Old Nice is a walk or short bike ride away. Train station location 5 minute walk

The location is excellent, right next to the subway station! The breakfast looked good, but because we were in a rush in the morning, they didn't provide breakfast bags, so we just grabbed a few pieces of bread

The location is great, near to the port, Christmas markets and sites. Only suggestion is to provide clearer instructions to the parking as they do not have any within their property

The hotel is located in the heart of old town and next to Metro Station that is only two stops next to Marceille St. The room is very big, and equiped with all necessary items

We stayed in a four-person room, with the beds facing each other, and only one bathroom, which was a bit inconvenient!

What I like the most in the hotel room are L’Occitane bath gel, shampoo, lotion with very charming smell

We took a while to find parking and a location to offload the luggages

Very well-located and the hotel has a lot of retro charm. Be aware that there can be a lot of outdoor noise with music playing loudly till midnight on certain nights at the cafe next door to the hotel.

It was a great stay! Beautiful view of the Old Port, right in the center of everything. Hotel and room were clean and beautifully arranged. Breakfast was good, but be cautious with the bees if you eat on the balcony

Good size of rooms, location in Cannes is central. It is a busy street, on the noisy side if you have your windows open. Rooms look and feel like they have not been refurbished for 20 years or so

We has lunch in the garden by the pool - it was great, the salad was so fresh! The meat perfectly grilled and the vegetables top. We can highly recommend it. A beautiful farm style hotel.

It is only minutes away from the iconic beach, and has one of the best restaurants I have visited in the south of France (this was my fifth trip to the area)

We stayed here for two nights our second trip after staying last year too. The location is very good a few mins from Pampelonne beach and its beach clubs

Hotel is good, the reception was very kind, the room was fine. They did take care of my special request for a crib and bathtub which was very much appreciated. The mattress is quite soft (not my liking)
