L'Hotel du Collectionneur, Paris1 / 27
7.8
Paris, Rue de Courcelles 51-57 🧭 Map
Nothing too noteworthy. You get what you paid for. It is as advertised.
I stayed at Hôtel du Collectionneur from January 19–21, and the experience truly surpassed my expectations. The hotel itself is stunning, and my room was superb—beautifully appointed, comfortable, and impeccably maintained. What surprised me the most, however, was the exceptional level of service. In a hotel of this size, service can sometimes feel impersonal, but that was absolutely not the case...
We had the most incredible stay at Hotel du Collectionneur and couldn’t recommend it more. Even before we arrived, the service was exceptional. Giulia, the Duty Manager, went above and beyond via email and WhatsApp to help me organise a surprise for my girlfriend. From champagne and rose petals in the room, to an early check-in and a complimentary room upgrade, everything was handled so thoughtfully...
We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, the entire staff made us feel welcome and valued. The service throughout was exceptional. A very special shoutout to Yohann from the breakfast room – his customer service is truly phenomenal! He went above and beyond to take care of our whole family, always greeting us with a warm smile and ensuring we had everything we needed...
Where do I even start?! I have been to many hotels all around the world, almost 10-12 per year. But the attention me and my group of friends received at Hotel du collectionneur despite it being a busy season was exceptional. I brought 13 of my friends for my 40th birthday trip and they made sure we left with great memories. The deluxe suite I booked was at the top floor and has an amazing view of the...
We stayed at this beautiful hotel as a group of 13 during our Christmas trip to Paris, and our experience was fantastic from beginning to end. A big thank you to the team for all the arrangements made in advance - everything was perfectly organised. They even helped me to deliver a Christmas card to each member of the group at check-in, which was such a thoughtful touch and truly appreciated by everyone...

I stayed here again. The front desk staff member was very warm and polite, and even arranged a room that exceeded my expectations – it was fantastic! The room was clean and tidy, as was the linen. The bed and pillows were also very comfortable. Unfortunately, the toilet flush was hard to press and the water flow wasn't strong enough, and the sink tap also had low water pressure. But these minor issues...
My main purpose for this trip to France was shopping, so I stayed right next to Galleries Lafayette. The hotel is quite old, but the rooms have all been renovated, so it feels very new and the interior design is beautiful. The famous Café de la Paix is located within the hotel, which is very convenient for guests. The service was exceptionally good, I have to give them a special shout-out.
I initially had a concern that left me somewhat dissatisfied. However, Valentin handled the matter with great professionalism and genuine care. He listened attentively, addressed the issue respectfully, and managed to turn my dissatisfaction into complete satisfaction. I truly appreciate his courteous approach and commitment to customer satisfaction.
Beautiful and grand. It’s centrally located so very convenient to travel to other parts of Paris or take a stroll nearby. Room is nice and comfortable for the three of us.
The location is good. The bathroom is spacious and comfortable.

This hotel is the place to be in Cannes , Whether at reception, the bar, or the restaurant, the service is warm and welcoming; I can't wait to go back.
Prime location. Incredible service and concierge service. This hotel will ruin other hotels for you because very few hotels can compare. The breakfast chefs were really incredible. It was the best breakfast we ever had in our life. The breakfast buffet is absolutely unmissable. The bars were very fun as well.
Had the most amazing stay at the iconic Hotel Martinez! The views of the French Riviera are absolutely unbeatable. Waking up to that view felt like something out of a movie. The whole place has this old-school Hollywood glam vibe that makes you feel instantly special, yet everything is so comfortable and welcoming. Everyone greeted us by name and made us feel completely at home. The breakfast spread...
It was better than I expected. I didn't like that it was on the first floor for a suite, but the housekeeping staff were very kind, so that was nice. I'm thinking of visiting again next time.
We celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary at Hotel Martinez and it was unforgettable. From the warm welcome to the beautifully appointed room with stunning sea views, everything was perfect. Lunch at the beach club was exceptional — fresh line-caught seabass and outstanding service. A thoughtful gesture from the manager made the occasion even more special. Memories for life — highly recommended!
I had a fantastic stay at Hôtel Martinez in Cannes and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment I arrived, the front desk made me feel welcome. They went out of their way to show me different room options so I could choose what I liked best. The room I chose was spotless, comfortable, and well designed, with a nice balance of elegance and coziness. The whole hotel has a...

The staff lead by the wonderful manager Clement is fantastic. They helped us book tours, transportation and answered our many questions. The hotel is a gem & the surrounding area fantastic. My husband left a camera charging stand and they even sent it to us. Can’t wait to go back!
Mixed experience – Great location but disappointing service The hotel and its location are undoubtedly great — picturesque setting and convenient access to the sea. However, the overall experience was significantly impacted by poor service and lack of professionalism. During our two-night stay, we had to call guest services twice for basic requests (e.g., an extra towel). Both times, the response...
Wonderful hotel in a beautiful setting. You could feel the history through the walls of this great hotel. Attention to detail, comfortable and spacious room, attentive staff. Would definitely stay there again!
Wonderful hotel - location & beautiful town!
This hotel has it all. Prime location, old world feel yet provides premium service and food. Suites are meticulously maintained with service points multiple times a day. Laundry is efficient and speedy. Staff cordial, well mannered, and extremely attentive. Staff went above and beyond our expectations we will be staying here again in the future.
Our stay at this hotel was truly exceptional, and we’d especially like to thank Julia at the reception for her kindness and care. From the very beginning, she made us feel genuinely welcome and helped make our stay incredibly comfortable. We booked a Family Apartment for two adults and three children. Fantastic hotel, location and attention to detail and service. Despite being very busy with the Cannes Lions festival during our stay, and the beach being closed, staff went the extra mile to still accommodate and ensure our stay was great - and to which, it was.

A few early problems that the hotel well and truly made up for. Excellent hotel, service and rooms. Absolutely 5 out of 5.
One of the Life Hotels. They knew we were here for our honeymoon and prepared decorations for our room. The hotel also printed our wedding photos. The service was super good. They knew what we needed with just one look! We will definitely come again!
best hotel in Cannes. very clean, amazing service, staff is very friendly and professional. a bit more variety at breakfast would be nice, for example more option of french bakery like chaussons aux pommes.

The hotel is beautifully decorated and the service is excellent. They even provided champagne for our anniversary celebration, which was wonderful! Thank you for your thoughtfulness and great service.
Very very nice hotel. I could check earlier which is something that you rarely see anymore. Rooms are very clean, spacious and modern. The restaurant and bar are certainly a good place for a quick bite
I was very satisfied with my stay at the Majestic Barrière hotel. The location is unbeatable, and the exterior is equally impressive. The staff were incredibly attentive. Great location, friendly for people who are not tourists and who participate in normal Parisian daily lives, close to Bon marché, train stations, etc. Rooms are gracious and comfortable. Staff members are professional and courteous. Very quality all over.
Stayed a couple of nights here - and the hotel more than delivered. From the moment your cab arrived at the hotel, multiple doormen would come to take care of you and the luggage. Marriott is Marriott after all; it lived up to its brand value in every aspect. The only downside was that the soundproofing in the rooms was a little poor, but otherwise it was very good.
We had an outstanding experience dining at the JW Marriott in Cannes. Not only is the setting exquisite, we had terrific service from Mustapha. He made sure our entire experience was fantastic and communicated with us in 4 different languages. We are grateful for our time in Cannes and would absolutely recommend asking for Mustapha when you visit!

La Rotonde – Le Negresco · Nice I have visited La Rotonde several times, and each experience has been exceptional. This restaurant has a very special atmosphere that you only find at Le Negresco. This is a truly luxurious hotel, and its continued preservation after over a century is astonishing. The sheer number of exhibits makes it feel like a museum. Although located on the Promenade des Anglais, the layout is well-designed, making it very quiet and private. The bedding was incredibly comfortable. This hotel is undoubtedly a landmark in Nice. It's hands-down the best hotel we've ever stayed...
Avocado tartar 3/5 stars - the chef mix the soft and unriped hard avocado so I think that’s not so professional for this top famous hotel Fish soup- 4/5 stars. Their signature dish but I had much better fish soup. Their coutons were very hard and soup was a bit too salty. View was nice but can’t say amazing because you see the streets and the cars
The restaurant is very nice and cute. The food was amazing — everything we tried was delicious. The Steve Molinari fish soup was one of the best dishes we’ve ever had. The portions are generous: we ordered one tasting menu and, for the other person, a starter and a main dish — and we both ended up full. The staff was very friendly and professional. A heaven of wellbeing just 30min from Paris! I had an amazing stay at the Trianon Palace Versailles: room was big and clean, team members went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, food was amazingly good. Not forgetting to mention the swimming pool! All in all I had a wonderfully restful stay!
Mixed experience, Reception team, Spa/Pool team & breakfast team all amazing. Room in the Palace just perfect. The issue we found was that the bar and restaurant teams are not attentive and seem to actively want to not serve people. Waited 15 minutes to attempt to order as drink ended up walking out. 2nd occasion sat at table and then not served for 20 minutes.
Definitely had charm of a palace and loved the location. When we were there, the weather was unusually HOT (close to 100F) so AC on the fifth floor was barely keeping up. We asked the room service lady for additional room fans and she went on an adventure to get it. Overall enjoyed our stay.

Our first time at an Intercontinental was good, but that’s it. For a 5* Hotel (which we booked plenty around the world), the Hotel definitely could use a renovation of the rooms. Excellent! The hotel is housed in a grand old building that has been meticulously renovated. The front desk and parking attendants provided great service. When I was having a beer at the restaurant, I asked a staff member about Bouillabaisse, and a short while later, they brought me a note with three nearby restaurant recommendations. Stayed here at the end of our honeymoon, and it was simply amazing! The room was spacious and very comfortable, the food was delicious, and all of the employees were very friendly and helpful. We had lunch in the restaurant and our server, Martin, was excellent and gave us a few good recommendations for places to go around the city. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

We had a private event at the Bristol Hotel. - Location is great at the busy and sublime Faubourg St Honoré. - It was Christmas season so the hotel was wonderfully decorated - The service at the event was very good If you are wondering why it is 4/5 it is simply that the food at the event was average . Not bad for sure but nothing special . I didn’t have the chance to see the rooms but the lobby and...
