My main purpose for this trip to France was shopping, so I stayed right next to Galleries Lafayette. The hotel is quite old, but the rooms have all been renovated, so it feels very new and the interior design is beautiful. The famous Café de la Paix is located within the hotel, which is very convenient for guests. The service was exceptionally good, I have to give them a special shout-out.

The hotel offers a stunning panoramic view of Angel Bay, and its location is incredibly convenient for getting around. The weather was fantastic during my entire stay, making me want to just relax indoors. The Western breakfast served was pretty good, though I'd personally love to see some congee or rice added to cater to a Chinese palate like mine.

The room was small, but the hygiene was acceptable. I was pleasantly surprised that they had instant noodles and chopsticks for breakfast – big plus! This is the largest hotel room I've stayed in during a business trip to Paris. Getting around is also convenient, with the Metro Line 14 just a 3-minute walk away. There are several restaurants around the metro exit, and the three I tried were all excellent choices.

I have to give a shout-out to Trip.com. The hotel I originally booked got canceled due to a strike, and Trip.com covered the price difference for me to rebook.
