Had a wonderful visit in Nice at this hotel. Wonderful location on the promenade. Able to walk all over Nice, restaurants, old town. Had a garden room looking over the museum. Loved the breakfast selections and the seating area in front of the hotel. Friendly staff. Would definitely come back.

The rooms have been recently updated.
We stayed in room 503. Very clean, newly remodeled, with view of a buildings roof line. The convenient “included breakfast” had a good selection of options ,such as precooked scrabbled eggs, a machine to boil eggs, another to make small pancakes and self serve automatic coffee machine with lattes, cappuccinos etc. it also had salads, fruit, cereal and cold cut meats.
It is within walkable distance to Old Town Nice and shopping areas. The staff were very helpful.
CONS: I had booked it because they advertised with parking available, but when I showed up they said I had a big van and it would not fit on their parking and recommend to park at Parking Meyerbeer, which is around the block from the hotel but had to pay €42 daily rate.

The service was very disappointing and not what you'd expect from a 4 star hotel.

We had a fantastic stay at the hotel. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. We met Anne and Andrien (management of the hotel), whom were professional, friendly and helpful. They go above and beyond to make sure the guests are enjoying their stay.
The guest room was spacious, clean and comfortable with a beautiful view of the sea.
The breakfast was excellent—a nice variety to choose from. The hotel is centrally located to many restaurants, shops and attractions (walkable). We recommend the
West End Hotel for your stay in Nice.

Very average, not worth 3800 per night. The only decent ocean view, but there are so many other options on the beachfront that this one is really average.

We stayed at Hotel West End in Nice for three nights, and unfortunately, the experience did not live up to expectations. While the location is undeniably excellent—right on the Promenade des Anglais with a beautiful ocean view (which we paid extra for)—the room itself was far from comfortable.
The room had only one electrical outlet, and none in the bathroom, which made charging devices and using appliances inconvenient. The mattress was old, soft, and sagging, offering little support and poor sleep quality. Basic amenities were lacking: no face cloths were provided, and housekeeping failed to replenish the morning coffee supplies during our stay.
The bathroom design was particularly problematic. The shower only had a partial glass partition, which caused water to spill onto the floor every time we used it. The tub was extremely slippery with no grab handle, making it genuinely hazardous to get in and out safely.
Overall, the hotel’s charm ends at its location. For the price and the reputation, we expected far better. We won’t be returning.

I booked a triple room, which looked like a loft with bunk beds according to the website pictures. In reality, the room was very small, a one-bedroom layout. The living room became even smaller after the sofa was moved out. For around 4000 yuan, the value for money was so-so. I got three towels from the front desk at the beach, but was charged $24.20 after check-out! They didn't mention any charge when I got them. For that price, I could have bought one for myself at a beach supply store. The hotel atmosphere was nice, and the location was decent, but it was a bit far from Castle Hill. Hotels closer to Castle Hill have better locations!

Absolutely wonderful hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. Our room had a breathtaking sea view where we enjoyed both sunrises and sunsets. Delicious breakfasts, perfect location right across from the beach, and stunning surroundings. I stayed with my friend, a photographer, and we captured so many beautiful moments — this place is a dream for photos and videos. Can’t wait to return!
