My husband organised a long weekend in Paris for my big 40. We did one night at Disney then one night here. I was very impressed with his pick of this hotel, not just because its quirky with lovely decor but also location. The day before, the lovely lady on reception (sorry I didn't get your name!!) called my husband and offered an upgrade as it was my birthday, which he graciously accepted. We were not expecting the penthouse room!!! It was amazing, a view from the terrace of Notre Dame, plush decor, roll top bath (which we thoroughly enjoyed after 1.5 days walking around Disney), and a sweet birthday gift and balloon left on the bed for me. The bed was SO comfy, we slept so well!!

We didn't opt for breakfast as we are vegan so we really wanted to eat at the vegan bakery nearby. We did request plant milk so we could have tea in our room but when we asked in the evening it seemed they didn't have any. The following morning another staff member did offer to get us some from the shop but we were happy to drink the tea black, the teas on offer are delicious.

Few extra notes:
The faux foliage on the terrace needs a refresh (or even removal completely).
The elevator only goes to fourth floor so floors five and six require stairs. English TV channels were not English.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would 100% stay again. I returned home a very happy 40 year old.

The best hotel stay I've had!
My husband and I travel a lot, and this hotel is a gem in the heart of Paris. The staff are extremely helpful, friendly and accommodating. The building itself is stunning, and although it's very central, it's also extremely quiet. The bed was really comfortable, and the room has lots of amenities.
I'd recommend to anyone who can handle a couple of steps (it does have an elevator but you may need to go up/down a few steps to get to your room) and is looking for stay in the heart of Paris.

Moses at the front desk is a great guy. The location is very convenient, lots of major sites are easy to walk to. It was very quiet. The only catch is that it's tricky to find the entrance: it's a little door tucked in between a restaurant and a shop, so it's easy to walk past it. The bed is comfy, the bathroom is good, hygiene products are from Fragonard (a good French brand). Only two catches: 300$ a night for a room usable by only one person (single bed) in mid October is quite costly, and the historic desk chair is pretty to look at but extremely uncomfortable.

It was our first visit to Paris, and we stayed here for four nights. This charming boutique hotel impressed us with its friendly staff and convenient location. The Line 1 metro station is right in front of the hotel, making it super easy to get around the city. We also appreciated the cleanness of the hotel and the abundance of restaurants and shops nearby. We’ll definitely stay here again the next time we visit Paris.

I loved my stay here. Moses and Loris on the front desk were terrific, it’s so nice to have friendly staff when you’re staying alone. The hotel is BEAUTIFUL, and incredibly well located. The room was tiny as expected but very stylish and had what i needed. And the sound proofing seemed to be excellent, i never heard other guests other than door closing. Would 100% stay here again.

Lovely stay at this little gem. Right beside the metro station but super quiet room. Staff were friendly and accommodating, room clean and quirky in design. Air conditioning was a big plus in Paris heat. Breakfast was great quality with fab mini pastries, so so good. Room was really clean and even some chocolates left on the bed for us which was a lovely touch. Highly recommend to stay.

We stayed in the Temple de Jeanne for a short city break in August 2022. The entrance to the hotel is a very unassuming door between two bistros in Le Marais in the 4th arrondissement, which didn't prepare us for the beautiful decor and soft furnishings inside. We stayed in the classic double room with balcony which was beautifully appointed and felt very luxurious. The balcony looked over the small inner courtyard and was therefore quiet and quite private. The bathroom however was our highlight, with a lovely brown/gold colour scheme finished off with brass fittings. The shower had adequate pressure considering we were on the fifth floor (room 51). Just a note at this point that the lift only goes to the fourth floor - those going higher up, look out for the stairs at the far end of the corridor as these are far less steep than the traditional Parisien staircase at the front of the building. The room's air con was very welcome, considering the temperature outside reached 35°! It would have been nice to have a few more coffee capsule in the room but these were made available when we asked. The hotel is close to lots of lovely places to eat and drink, a couple of supermarkets and is a ten minute walk to Notre Dame and the Batobus. Thank you Temple de Jeanne for a lovely stay - I have no doubt we will be back!

This hotel is in a great location directly opposite a metro station. Great bars and restaurants nearby. The hotel itself was lovely and most importantly clean.

Great little hotel in an excellent location - right in Marais, close to the Notre Dam. It has a Metro stop right out front and if you don’t mind a little walking, you can easily get to the Pompidou, Pont Neuf and other Parisian must-do’s. On Sunday there was a fantastic flea market right outside the hotel entrance. Some tips - the hotel has a tiny elevator, but it only goes to to the 4th floor. If you are on the 5th or 6th floor, you have to get up some tiny stairs. The entrance to the hotel hard to find so easiest is the look for the red awning for the bar/bistro next door - l’Elephant.

Unfortunately our stay was not perfect especially in view of the quite high price. Many little things did not work and made our stay unpleasant. The location is quite good and the rooms are ok (clean, good size). Especially in the bathroom there is no storage spaces but many mirrors instead ;-). also the bath tub solution is not great. Breakfast was upgradeable.
We have to say that we won't stay here again. Sorry.
