Bed bugs!!! Do Not Stay here - They Ruined Our Honeymoon
This hotel has bed bugs. On the day we arrived (we hadn't even spent the night) we noticed bed bugs in our bed. There were live bugs as well as stains on the sheets from bed bugs. We notified the night-shift guy at the front desk he came to our room, took a picture of the bed bugs, didn't even kill it, and told us all he could do was give us a new room and he we would have to wait until morning when his boss weighed in. He refused to call professionals about the bugs or take any action. He was very rude and implied that we brought the bugs to the hotel, despite only having just arrived (we found no signs of the bugs pre or post this hotel). Judging by the shape of our first room and the room we were moved to, we were given the worst room in the hotel, probably one they don't normally book. Not only did the hotel refuse to provide any compensation to us but they charged us for our night of bed bugs. They cost us an entire nights sleep, hundreds of dollars in laundry, cleaning supplies, and extra transporation, and precious time. They also destroyed all comfort and peace of mind for the entire rest of our trip, as we constantly worried about whether we had contracted bed bugs from the hotel and brought them wherever we went.
Even if it weren't for the bed bugs, this hotel is in very poor condition. It needs to be completely remodeled, yet they are operating it anyway. I overheard another couple complaining that their air conditioning wasn't working. The rooms are dingy, outdated, and poorly lit and decorated. I don't know how they meet the requirements for a 4-star hotel but there are 3-star hotels better than this dump. When we moved to the new room, the iron doorknob came clean off the bathroom door and fell on my wife's foot. The sinks don't drain. The shower head was broken. The TV remote had corroded batteries in it, and it didn't work. The pictures of the hotel make it look like there is dining in the cave, but the cave is closed off and not part of operations. There's no room service. There is virtually no service; the hotel runs on a skeleton crew. It sounded liked the hotel was purchased by a new owner and they are waiting for approvals to do construction and remodel but are operating the dilapidated building in the meantime. Which is probably why they don't care about treating their patrons like dirt.

I had a great cozy, yet spacious room. It was very nice, shower head was broken , easy fix, but wasn’t. When I asked for a couple extra towels, water - but didn’t deliver quickly.

This is our 3rd trip to Paris and our favorite hotel! We had plenty of space, and the rooms were modern and clean. The king-size bed had a quality mattress and quality bedding. The reception staff were friendly and helpful - especially the gentleman who worked the night shift. He patiently waited while I attempted to say some words and phrases in French and then helped me to say them better.

Hotel was in PERFECT location, near lots of wonderful cafes, multiple metro stations, and popular Paris sights. While room size was on the smaller side and air conditioning was not terribly efficient, you have to realize you’re in Paris, not the US! The bed was one of the most comfortable hotels beds we’ve ever had. As a bonus, there is a great laundry just down the street. Would not hesitate to book here again.

We had a great stay! The location truly cannot be beat. A bunch of restaurants and markets nearby and walking distance from Notre Dame which also has a super convenient metro stop. We booked a superior king room and would definitely recommend. A real luxury to find a king bed in Paris! We were happy with the size of the room. We never had the breakfast, but appreciated the Nespresso maker and ceramic cups in the room. Would've been nice if they replaced the bottled water, but there's a store right across the street for water, etc. They cleaned our room everyday and replaced towels, etc. The stay was truly great, but a few notes; the water pressure was subpar. Took a good 15mins for the tub to fill. The area can be noisy at night / on weekends, but so can everywhere. No amenities like slippers or robes. Also, randomly no conditioner. Our TV didn't work. I'm sure they would've fixed, but we didn't care enough to ask. It's Paris - get out there! Strange thing, you have to leave your key with them every time you leave the hotel. We had an ongoing joke that it was like checking out and in with your parents.
All in all, we felt this was a great place to stay for the money and definitely would return!

Outdated furnishings and design; dirty rooms and poor pillows/mattresses. Rude and unhelpful staff. Overpriced for what it is - go elsewhere, trust me!

Small cozy hotel, very friendly staff. The rooms are clean, comfortable. The location is just perfect - two steps away great restaurants, cafes, the Pont des Arts, Seine, close to metro. Right on the Seine street farmer's market. Recommend!

Not worth the money. My husband and I just left Hotel Prince de Conde and we were unfortunately very happy to go. The staff was lovely, but the amenities left something to be desired. After use, the sink took a good 5 minutes to drain. The bathroom door would not stay shut. They do not offer washcloths, which I did not understand. The “slippers” offered are literally paper. The hairdryer is more or less useless. The rooms are very small and very dark. There were two small bottles of water in the room - which we drank upon arrival. We were there for three nights and they never restocked said water. The bottle of wine in the room was marked up to 17 euro - we bought the same bottle of wine across the street for 6 euro. All this being said, I truly don’t think this hotel is TERRIBLE - especially as it IS listed a “3 star hotel”. But as I sit in a 4 star hotel room about a mile away with loads of daylight, washcloths, an abundance of pillows, a bathroom door that closes, enough space to fit 2 of Hotel Prince de Conde’s rooms, lovely fluffy slippers, and a perfectly draining sink, I wonder why I’m paying almost $50 less per night here... not to mention the most expensive item in the FULLY STOCKED FRIDGE is 8 euro!
