This elegant hotel is located in Avenue de l Opera – in a prestigious area with buildings designed by a famous city planner, Baron Haussmann, at the time largely determined the architecture of Paris. Its name the hotel is obliged to the Prince of Wales (later King Edward VII), who often stayed here, it was his residence.

The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming and enthusiastic. When they found out it was my first time in Paris, they even got out a map and explained some sightseeing routes to me. They helped take my luggage directly to the room, and there was also staff available to explain the room's amenities. The hotel breakfast was absolutely delicious. The hotel's location is super convenient, with bus and metro stations not far away.

This hotel is housed in a beautifully decorated, historic building. The staff are warm and provide excellent service. The facilities are comprehensive, hygiene is top-notch, the rooms are spacious, and breakfast is delicious. The location is convenient, with Lafayette and the Louvre within walking distance.

Very satisfied! The hotel's location is excellent and convenient for transportation. The room size is just right, and it's clean. The hotel staff are also very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend!

I stayed at this hotel during my seven-day trip to Paris. The room was clean, and the staff was friendly. The breakfast was well prepared. I had a direct view of the Opera and easy access to transportation, which took my family to the sights of Paris. The Louvre is within walking distance. My experience at the Hotel Edouard VII was excellent, and I would recommend it to all my friends back home.

We stayed here on our honeymoon and we have nothing but good things to say about the hotel and the staff. When we arrived, we were welcomed with special decorations for our special occasion. The front desk was welcoming and so kind from the moment we checked in until check out. They were there to answer any question. The cleaning crew were incredibly kind. The front staff kindly helped us with many reservations. And Nisal specifically was so helpful and so great at making sure we were helped and that we were enjoying our stay. The view of the Opera and the location near great food spots was a huge plus!!! Oh, and they did an amazing job with their Christmas decorations!! Thanks Hotel Edouard 7!!

Luck of customer care of the receptionist on Sunday around 12:30 PM 12 October 2025. Basic needs of customers should be their priority.

This hotel was perfectly located. We were able to walk to many of the tourist destinations and the metro was also convenient to access. The neighbourhood has many restaurants and designer shops all within a few short blocks.

We were lucky enough to be upgraded to Junior suite which had lots of space and the Juliet balcony was a delight!

We would definitely recommend this hotel and will return when we go back to Paris.
