Acropole Hotel in Paris

The hotel hallways are quite dim. It's about a 30-minute drive from central Paris. Breakfast is very basic. Rooms are on the second floor and up, so you'll have to carry your luggage up a flight of stairs as the elevator is really tiny.

We had some rather unfortunate luck during our stay; the subway line right outside the hotel happened to begin its temporary shutdown just as we checked in. Thankfully, there were very convenient bus routes nearby, though it did add a bit of extra travel time.

To add to our woes, the hotel's elevator began maintenance during our stay and was out of service for what seemed like the entire summer. Our room was on the 4th floor. While the spiral staircase was quite charming and usually stylish, carrying a large suitcase up to the 4th floor was quite the ordeal.

There was no daily housekeeping service during our stay. Since we didn't make much of a mess, we didn't feel the need to request it.

Breakfast was decent; getting enough to eat was certainly not an issue, and the taste was acceptable.

Overall, it's actually a hotel that offers very good value for money. If the subway and elevator were functioning normally, I would definitely choose to stay here again.
