Hôtel Verlaine in Paris

Our stay at the hotel was simply wonderful.
The rooms are simple and spotlessly clean. The breakfast is delicious, and the hotel’s location is perfect, close to several metro stops.
What truly makes this hotel special is Elodie, the owner, who welcomed us with such warmth and gave us all kinds of helpful advice. We have never received such a genuine and heartfelt welcome.
Thank you for everything, see you soon, Elodie (and Opium!!) , can't wait to meet you again :)

This is a great value for money hotel with a real personal touch. Obviously not luxurious for the price but can’t be beaten in terms of honest value for money & super friendly helpful service. Thank you Elodie for your assistance & making my last night & day in Paris so carefree & easy. I will be back!

Our family (2 adults, 2 children 13 and 15 years) stayed at Hotel Verlaine for two nights at the end of June 2025 and were extremely happy with our stay.
The hotel is very well located in a quiet and safe neighborhood in easy walking distance to a number of metro stations. While the hotel is somewhat dated and without an elevator or air-conditioning, these aspects didn't detract from our stay and overall we felt the property offered excellent value for money in comparison with other options.
We had two rooms, each with ensuite. The rooms were not large, but a good size and the beds were very comfortable. The bathrooms were relatively small, but adequate and with good shower pressure. One of the rooms looked out over the street but suffered no issues of street noise.
Finally, the service was excellent. Elodie in particular was extremely helpful and accommodating and really looked after us - thanks you so much Elodie!

Wonderful Hotel and wonderful welcome. Elodie is an incredible Lady, the nicest and kindest ever, and she made our stay perfect. Hotel was very clean and looked after, very good position near metro stations and in a quiet safe area. Lovely in every way. Thank you!
