I booked a room at Hotel Max for short business trip (one night). I paid extra for cancellation insurance through the hotel's website but when I had to cancel the room due to the fact my meeting got cancelled, the hotel referred me to the insurance company Chapka. This company came up with excuses as to why my reason didn´t comply with their guidelines and refused to reimburse me.

The reception staff were genuinely kind, helpful, and welcoming, which made a very positive first impression. The hotel itself is nice and well kept, but the room felt quite cramped. The bathroom design, with no door, can be uncomfortable when sharing a room. The location is close to a metro station, which is convenient, though it’s a bit far from the city center. Overall, a pleasant stay with excellent staff, but room comfort and privacy could be improved.

I had a wonderful stay at Max Hotel! The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect. I would definitely stay here again!

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Max! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, especially at the front desk. The room was clean, modern, and very comfortable. I also loved the hotel’s central location—perfect for exploring the city. Great value for the price. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

Great location in Paris, great neighborhood that makes you feel like you're staying in the "Real Paris". Not over run with tourists, great local bakeries and restaurants.

Whoever rated this hotel as 4 stars?? Tiny room, tiny shower combined with toilet with glass doors does not give any privacy. Sink is located in the room. The gel/shampoo bottle in the shower was completely empty, which you discover after squeezing in to take a shower before bed. The neighborhood is safe,5 min to Alessia metro,12 min to Denfert Rocherau The only nice thing is the balcony and the nearby cafes.
