Inexpensive accomodations in France

We enjoyed a good continental breakfast. We had a lovely stroll around the historic centre of the City in which there were plenty of attractive restaurants to choose from. One drawback concerns car parking

+ fantastic B&B very close to the center of Auxerre (well, practically you are in the center of Auxerre) + great rooms, the ones at the top floor have great volumes and exposed wooden structure + delicious breakfast + the owner was very nice, always available and always smiling

We were warmly welcomed by Jerome, the owner and shown to our room that was incredibly beautiful, with a large very comfortable bed in the corner of an old fashioned beamed room with vaulted ceiling and Felix window to keep it cool and fresh

Our host Jerome presided over a breakfast of home-made juices, his own delicious honey and jam, fresh bread and copious quantities of good coffee. The perfect place to stay when visiting lovely Auxerre

This is a family owned Bed and Breakfast property in a narrow street within the historic centre of Auxerre. The rooms are comfortable and full of character. Jerome is a delightful and attentive host

The property has no private parking for residents and we were very fortunate to find a space in the Place de Saint Eusebe, just a short walk from the property

We had a wonderful vacation with our one-year old daughter. La Forêt is a lovely small-scale campsite! Calm and relaxing atmosphere even in peak season. Clean, well-maintained, and a beautiful pool

A few mins walk to the beach through the forest. Easy access to supermarkets, shops and restaurants. This coast is of a bygone era. Classy, unfussy resorts with a lovely atmosphere

Delicious on-site food, perfect for families with young kids (who don't need a playground/animation team) Only minor point: pillows could use an upgrade (we already donated two 😉)

The Pool area is lovely with an heated outdoor pool & jacuzzi very quite, beds always available so so peaceful. The food is very good and a great variety to takeaway

And what about the infrastructure: everything is tasteful, beautifully decorated lodges equipped with quality equipment, carefully maintained pitches and vegetation

A special mention for the quality of its welcome and the kindness of its staff always listening to its guests

All the staff were SUPER friendly and seemed to enjoy working there and there were 2 amazing well behaved wolf dogs hanging around the place too! Even when there was some noise (which I didn't hear), the manager wrote a nice letter to nearby rooms to clarify the situation which was a nice touch When I went to try the raclette as an extra the chef went above and beyond and added extra veg dishes for...

I assumed the dinner would be a buffet of generic dishes but instead each night there was a changing starter, main course and dessert and they were all genuinely delicious to the point I didn't feel the need to eat elsewhere

Staff is really friendly and helpfull and make this residence the nicest place to stay! Appartments are really fine and it is naar the slopes. A bit further away from the bars, therefore it is perfect for families :)

It was my first time doing a winter sports holiday and I cannot fault my time in the lodge for such an amazing price and would 100% return if I am in Les deux alpes again

We only visited the bar and restaurant area during our ski trip and it seems like a very nice place. They have beautiful bar and cozy wooden interior

They offer burgers of reasonable price and are willing to hold private events when booked in advance, they served us a BBQ lunch and it was so nice

The entertainment is fantastic; there's something for everyone—adults, teenagers, and children. Thanks to the activity leaders for their hard work! 😀 And thank you to Emma (again, sorry about the garland)

There was a great atmosphere; it's a family-friendly and peaceful campsite. The water slides are fantastic for children, and the water play area for babies and the swimming pool are both nice

The receptionist was very kind, always smiling, and very responsive to our requests. The maintenance team was also very responsive. The mobile home was in excellent condition

It would have been nice if the restaurant had been open at lunchtime, but otherwise, the restaurant was good. 😀 Thank you again, and I highly recommend this campsite

We weren't disappointed with our stay; on the contrary, the campsite is family-friendly and offers 3-star camping services. The promises made were kept, and the beach is accessible on foot via several different paths

A truly family-friendly atmosphere. The only slight downside was the swimming pool (the tiles need cleaning, etc. , which was a bit rough on our feet), but apart from that, there's really not much to complain about

Accessible, well-located, well-equipped, well-structured, good service. The kitchen area is clean and adequate in case you want to prepare a menu. A little gem in the middle of the city

Welcoming staff, comfy beds and interesting guests. Located in a vibrant district with lots going on. From what I've seen I'd consider it quite a good budget hostel

The places is alright for the budget. Ven though if you are a digital nomad, I don't suggest you this place

Absolutely fantastic Customer Service, great facilities for a hostel, situated very well. The manager, Joseph helped make my stay comfortable, dealt with any and all issues and helped me navigate the city

Excellent location with convenient transportation, comprehensive facilities, and incredibly warm and friendly staff. I would definitely choose to stay here again.

For independent travelers, backpackers, young couples of all ages, practical accommodation, the price-to-price ratio is adequate
