Inexpensive accomodations in France

It is in a great location. Staff are friendly Wifi did not work well The bathroom needs updating. This is a basic budget hotel

Such a perfect stay! Loved the location - very walkable and conveniently situated near all the main sites, beaches and restaurants we wanted to visit. Easy walk to the Nice Riquier station

What a beautifully decorated hotel, unique in its decor. The manager, Daniel, was both efficient and friendly, always happy to oblige. We had a great stay and would highly recommend.

The only challenge is the lack of an elevator, but the friendly and helpful staff were hugely helpful in terms of getting bags upstairs! Would definitely stay again

The hotel's location is excellent, with convenient transportation. The rooms are clean, tidy, and bright. The staff are friendly and polite, and both check-in and check-out processes were smooth

Only downfall was that the walls were not very sound proof, could hear alot of doors banging and stomping from upstairs - but this was only minor. Great stay and just what we needed for 3 nights in Nice :) Merci

Anyway, i can't stand carpets on the floors so that was probably the trigger for me. Otherwise a good price and convenient location makes it a place I would recommend to other economy travelers

Small hotel but in the great distance from the train station, the room was big enough for 3 people, had one double bed and one single bed, the bathroom was quite small but equipped with all we need

Great location, 25 mins walk to the promenade. Room was great for what we needed as we didn’t spend too much time in there. Bathroom wasn’t very big but wasn’t a problem for us

Then lobby room should be bigger and provide some cutlery and cups for guests who want to bring something to eat. The overall stay was good we love it

Have stayed here often, its really nice, friendly staff, good breakfast, clean and comfy, very reasonable rates recommend you stay, terrace to sunbathe,near to restaurants, shops , not far from the sea

There was ample free parking and the breakfast options were all there. Staff were great and we will certainly book again - either in the suite or in one of the sea view rooms

Checked us in an hour early and held our bags after checkout as train was later. No kettle or any facilities for tea and coffee in the room although this was stated

Hot and cramped but cheap. Just needed bed for night on long journey. Very basic cramped room. Clean. Very hot even with window open. Good shower though cramped for space.

Very handy stopover for the long drive back to the UK. Good value, but don't expect too much! Within walking distance are a couple of supermarkets, a boulangerie and restaurant

It’s an ok stop over on the way back to Calais for us. There’s not a lot at the hotel and rooms are basic. Breakfast is included but basic and limited

I was really late checking in but phoned ahead and my room key was left in a secure box for me lady on the phone was excellent.

Right by the motorway for early starts or late finishes. Free parking, free WiFi (if you can get it to connect)

Beautiful place to stay near to Saint Tropez and lovely Port Grimaud village. I highly recommend Côte d'Azur Holidays in camping Les Prairies de la Mer for accomodation!

Caravan was older and not so clean. Had everything we needed and the air conditioning in August was great. Bring - sheets, pillows, plenty of towels. My only big complaint was the noise level

Spent 10 days here and overall we were pleased with the company and the accommodations. The caravan was comfortable for our family of five, but I should have selected something a bit larger

We were situated on a busy stretch of the resort so late at night we could hear everyone walking by. Would still use this company again, would just plan a better location

Very very basic and tiny, no loo roll, not the most cheerful front of house, everything extra inc towels, tv, early check in, late check out yada yada, but it was cheap and clean enough

We stayed for a night only Staff - friendly and helpful , Room - clean and comfortable. Breakfast - for €5 is value for money. They baked their iwn croissants. Abd there is a secure parking for our motorbike for €3

3 types of muesli, applesauce, 2 types of pastries, bread, jams, cheese, and butter. Considering the price, I highly recommend it

The location is 2 minutes from the tram stop. 20 minutes to the train station/city center/beach. The rooms are small, but have everything you need. The room can be smoky (unfortunately, that was the case with me)

I would recommend if you are going into Chamonix and are wearing walking boots (rather than ski boots) getting the train in from Argentiere which runs ever hour and Costs around £3 and is no where near as busy as the bus and takes around the same amount of time

Our 'séjours' at Hôtel Montana have been absolutely fabulous; first during our trek of Le Tour du Mont Blanc, then a second visit with family and friends for mountain biking, hiking, and lounging and swimming in the beautiful pool at the Hotel SPA

The bathroom was lovely with a spa bath and separate rain shower. The hotel itself is small which is nice. you see the owners around all the time working hard and looking after people which is also really nice

Stayed here for 4 days in between Christmas and New Year. The hotel is absolutely fantastic. We stayed in a suite which was a good enough size. The rooms are a wonderful french chalet style but very modern

There is a bus service around a 4-5 minute walk away (in ski boots) which links to the other areas and the grand Montets lift is in the same location

It is out of the center of Chamonix but in its own small village which has plenty of amenities and good links. It is lovely and quite and peaceful

Ladies in the reception were very helpful. Hotel run by women, I was very impressed with their help. Nothing was too much trouble, Restaurant ladies were always very polite and helpful

Gym equipment only adequate really and bike did not work for me, fancied using jacuzzi and sauna but disappointed that each could only be used for a fee which felt too high

The rooms had pretty thin walls as we were able to hear the rooms next to/above us. The staff wasn't very helpful for us when trying to get help making a reservation in town because our phones didn't work

Good place, but not so good hotel room. Missing basic things like air ventilation in shower. Bud good for sleeping. Bet was confortable. Cheap sleeping directly in downtown.

The aspect I really appreciated about the hotel was they were okay with us leaving our bags with them when we arrived early before check in, so we could explore the town, and let us leave the bags with them for part of the day after we had checked out (and use their bathroom when we came to pick them up)

It is a 2-star hotel, and like the description says, "low key and modest rooms", so the rooms are small and simple, but they are clean and in the perfect location in Cassis where it's close to shops, bus, food, and beach, and not where all the noise is at the water by the restaurants

Both receptionists, Carla and Natasha, were extremely friendly and did their best to be hospitable and accommodating. Great for any traveler looking for simple accommodations with awesome location and price

I would say that's the only downside I personally found about the rooms. I hope as they get more business they can install locks that can easily lock and unlock from the inside without a key in the future

He was always available on his cellphone and when I needed his assistance, he was always there as soon as he could. Every attribute of the rooms and services was provided as it states on their website

I stayed at Acadia AppartHotel for almost 4 months and It was really nice. The place is 15 minutes walking from the city center and it was also really close from my university (ICN)

Paying the rent was always easy. The Landlord is usually there between morning till 1900 and I always payed in cash. There wherent any conflicts with the payments

Location is good, there is a bus stop nearby. Room is clean and has a comfort room and shower inside. They offer food at the lobby. The beds have curtains so it’s great.

We had an excellent experience staying at Le Clos Bonnaventure. The apartment was clean, modern and all new. Very comfortable for our family of 4. The property is lovely aswell

Stopped off on a motorcycle tour. A kettle would have been nice. When I asked the desk staff for some bread to go with cheese and sausage I picked up earlier they happily gave me some for free

Free parking. The room was a bit old. The toilets seat was extremwly old, the white plastic is becoming yellow. The blanket was burned with cigarettes and it had holes.

Absolutely awful stay—ski instructors Andre and Lou-Ann were rude and treated students badly, filthy stained sheets, terrible food, cramped rooms, and even a drunk man harassing our group

Don't judge this book by its warn cover, or maybe do judge it by that - Hotel Stella in all its old world authenticity lets you step back into a part of Paris' history! Of course if authenticity isn't your thing go ahead and stay at the name brand hotels and overpay to your hearts content

The hotel in a privileged place. The receptionists are charming. The breakfast is small, the person in charge is bad, very slow when you ask for something and there is little to choose from

I don’t know why the overall rating was low, but for me it’s a good hotel, location-wise is excellent, restaurants and supermarkets are downstairs. Overall good excel toilet location, which is odd.

Rain shower room&toilet are both located on every level but separate. Loads of take away/restauramt/convenoence store on door steps Unfortunately loud music from premises EN VRAC spoiled last nite

It wasn't cleaned and we had to wait for them to clean it and put on new sheets. Then we discovered that the glasses were dirty. The manager gave us new ones after we took the dirty ones to the reception

We have stayed for 2 nights and the first thing that surprised us was the reception program. So if you can't reach the location till 19. We had another surpise when we went to the room

We stayed here with the family. Plenty of room in the bungalow/villa we rented. (6ppl accomodity) 10minute drive from the beach. They talk good enough english to understand eachother

Same thing with the tea spoons. I cannot blame the management but it seems they have some problems with the personnel. Otherwise good entertainment for kids and adults and nice pool

Excellent central location near to both railway stations. Hostel was clean, comfortable and modern; excellent bunk beds in smaller men’s dorm; large lockers (remember to bring a small padlock or hire one for 2Euros)

We loved this place! We slept in the big dormitory and it was great, very quiet and the beds are super comfy and really private! The showers were great too. All the staff was really nice!

The only downside is that the area around the hotel isn't very clean and walkable at night, but that's not their fault and it's the price you pay for such a great location
