A delightful boutique hotel in a great location. The staff were welcoming and so helpful in providing recommendations and local advice. The room was clean and comfortable. Enjoyed the breakfast buffet. Would stay here again.

The location is not far from the station and is relatively quiet at night. The hotel rooms are quite spacious. If you turn left from the hotel entrance and walk straight to the square, there is a very delicious restaurant that you should definitely try.

Bit outdated small hotel along the highway, but perfectly clean and with excellent service. We booked short before and arrived after midnight. Although we were kindly given the codes for the gate and the door, the lady had waited for us to arrive. Very kind.

Does not look like much outside or in the lobby for that matter. There is no restaurant but on website it says there is with room service. We had to go look for somewhere to eat which was actually not too far away. Positives - rooms are beautiful and clean. BEST THING - The bed. That bed was wonderful.

A little gem despite the exterior look. This hotel looks rather old from the outside, the reception area is in a 80's style, but this impression stops there. The rooms are newly refurbished and very comfortable. The food in the restaurant is very good and the breakfast is also very satisfactory. Located in the old part of town, walkable to restaurants, bars and shops, with parking for guests (reserve in advance) for €11 per day. Staff at hotel reception were very welcoming. We stayed for one night. Would recommend this hotel for its convenience, safety and welcoming staff.

I like this hotel very much. The transportation is very convenient. It is opposite the train station. It is clean and sanitary. The breakfast is not bad.

Comfy and cozy hotel with good breakfast and incredibly kind staff. The gentleman at the front desk (didn’t get a name) was so informative, he told us about the beautiful cathedral and how to get there + tips to see it at night. We were so grateful as it was stunning and not to be missed. Also, the parking was super convenient.

At 88yrs of age I didn’t expect to walk up 50+ stairs carrying a small overnight bag. Dark green decoration I found depressing. However, everything else was good.

Hotel booked for one night. He does the job. Slept well even though the night was short. The mattress was a little soft for my liking. Positive note and a big thank you to the person who gave us the keys because we were in competition. Didn't eat breakfast

Handy for an overnight stopover. Quiet environment.

The location was fantastic and there was easy accessibility to trams and tourist sites. The room was at its bare min - no slippers or robe and no bathroom amenities other than soap. The staff were super friendly and that made up for much! Just be warned that there are loads of stairs outside and inside for those less mobile to note.

The area was perfect and the staff were lovely but there was such an unbearable smell of mold from the bathroom that I had to sleep with the window open. It was awful.

Everything was wonderful except that only instant coffee was available in the room. That’s not good enough. That said we are now at the Hyatt Regency Paris Etoile and it’s just instant coffee in the room. Is this where France is headed?

Small, comfortable room, but fairly loud as it was on a busy street. However, it had a nice view of the river and was walking distance to the castle and Le Bois. Convenient for tourists. I did not have the breakfast.

We were upgraded to a larger room that was quite spacious. The room was clean and comfortable. All of the staff were very kind and helpful.

This is the perfect location to stay in Amboise. The Chateau is out the hotel back door, around the corner and up the ramp. The connecting restaurant was fantastic! We loved Amboise!

A wonderful hotel in a beautiful little town. Parking was in a public lot and we were lucky to get a spot each time we came back with our car. The hotel itself is lovely, perfect location....close to everything you need in Amboise...dining, shopping, etc. The Amboise Chateau and Clos de Luce were within an easy walk. Staff was wonderful, very clean, highly recommend.

We stayed in a quadruple room. Bus stop nearby with a free bus running to the center. Boulangerie Tradition is in 2 minutes walking distance.

Good hotel, but not during a heatwave! The hotel was fine, service from staff was excellent, but our room was in the roof section of the third floor, and with the heatwave it was impossibly hot all night. Even with the skylights open and the two fans on. The room really needs air-conditioning.

Nice location on an after diner walking distance to the old historical center. Parking was easy in the neighborhood. Breakfast and personnel good, so we were happy.

The room was clean and pleasant. Some staff were helpful but others were not. The breakfast ran out and was not replenished even though we arrived an hour before the end time. The breakfast room was very nice and had a lovely terrace. It would be nice to have a kettle in the room for making tea or coffee.

Ghislaine was super helpful!  Great rooms! Not in the centre of town but walkable if you don’t mind 20 minutes and a great location if you have a car and are using Amboise as a base for the region.

Away from the station. You are at the mercy of taxi drivers so you have no choice. We ask hotel to book taxi for us and we’re dropped off two hours before departure of our train. With 20 euros for two kms ride. Rooms are good. Be prepared to walk.

Lovely little place to rest and explore Amboise. Easy 15 - 20 mins walk into the centre of Amboise which the receptionist told us about without prompting. They also had a list of recommended restaurants for us to try which made it easy as first time visitors to the area.

8am in the morning no one in the reception, main doors lock and no one process the check out, we need to catch the morning train, other guest also stuck suffering with no breakfasts. What’s an experience!

When as a family for a 1 night stay over ,lots of stairs as no lift, family room had a beam across the floor major trip hazard as we found out ,poor lighting in the room ,breakfast not worth 10.90 ,close to city center.

Great find For the competitive price, the room and overall hotel exceeds all the attributes expected. The one low point is when getting in after the checkin desk, ventilation should be improved to prevent smell of food, which is a minor point. It is strategically located within 8 minutes from the train station and mall.

Generally OK although the bedroom was probably the smallest I have ever stayed in!

Everything was great, except A/C. Even at 16C, it barely made the room cool.

This hotel is really great. It’s about a five min walk from the train station and very close to the cathedral. No AC but I had a fan and the window opened. Breakfast is very good. It would have been helpful if the do not disturb sign was on the door knob instead of the desk. I could not find it and enthusiastic housekeepers just opened the door a couple times. Would stay again.

Nice location but not much close by. The center of town is about a 20 min walk along the river. The rooms are clean but spartan with very small pillows and lack basic amenities. The breakfast is just good.

We arrived late. There is no restaurant in the hotel, thus we dined in the restaurant of a neighbouring hotel. Returning to our hotel we would have liked to have a drink at the bar, but it had been already closed at 9 pm.

The location, overlooking the Loire, is beautiful. The rooms are comfortable, and we enjoyed the outdoor view of the river. The breakfast was satisfactory in terms of quality and variety. The welcome and service were very friendly.
