The property was ideally placed for foot access to the Old Town, the bay, the Port, the market and for public transport to art museums and the airport.
The staff were friendly and welcoming, and very helpful.
The room faced onto the street so nights were sometimes disturbed by groups of people talking loudly outside the cafe below, but traffic noise was not a problem.
We really enjoyed our stay, and very much hoping to return one day.

The balcony was a peaceful environment since it was facing an inside courtyard opposite the busy street on the other side of the hotel. The staff was helpful and nice. The storage lockers for keeping your things safe before getting in the room was good and greatly appreciated. The only down side really is the mattress was quite hard..

This is not a conventional hotel; Reception is often unattended and guests are trusted to look after themselves. Maids will not enter your room when you are out to tidy, clean and make the beds, though a member of staff did offer us clean towels when we needed them. For those on a budget, there are facilities for preparing and eating food in the rooms. Everything is clean and well appointed. The staff - mostly young women, as far as I could make out - are exceptionally charming and helpful. I was contacted by a staff member a day or two before our arrival, to give us instructions on how to find the hotel and access the hotel using a pass-code. She also provided prompt information when I asked for it. Our room overlooked a main road but we were not disturbed by traffic noise because double-glazing reduced external sound by at least 95%. The rooms are air-conditioned, of course. AMMI is nicely situated on the edge of the old city, just seconds from the lanes and passage-ways which make this part of town so attractive, with their bars, cafes and restaurants. I'd guess that it's a 15 minute stroll to the beach. Recommended!

This is a Apartment Hotel which was not clear at the time I booked it. Staff and help availability were not convenient, check in and check out times limited. Must use code to get into building, if late at night, could become issue. outside hotel and our room was very noisy. I liked the location being close to old town.

Perfect location,friendly staff,quiet-clean rooms
The hotel’s location is perfect—it’s in Nice’s Old Town, and you can reach everywhere by walking. Getting there from Nice Airport by train is very affordable and convenient; the train station is just a 2-minute walk away. Although the rooms are small, the space is used very efficiently and everything you need is provided. The hygiene is excellent. All your questions and requests are taken care of even before you arrive. Monsieur Sebastian, in particular, is very friendly and hospitable. Rooms with balconies offer a completely different kind of pleasure. If I travel to Nice again, I wouldn’t look for another hotel.

Ok so the hotel doesn't look like much. The hallways are especially warm because of the design and the rooms are very small. However you get a good price and a great location. And the best part, and the reason why I'll stay here again is the bed is the most comfortable (soft, cushiony) that I've slept in at a hotel in Europe and the AC is ice cold. We slept amazingly well better than 5 star hotels we've stayed at and that's what you're using a hotel for after all. I would recommend it to anyone who cares more about sleeping well than appearances.

Food is great! We had lunch. It was a delicious three courses meal and only 14,90e.

Fantastic little boutique hotel with superb customer service. Owner was onsite each day and always asked how he could help us. It is situated only steps from more dining and bars than you could visit in a year, but you don't need to because it has it's own excellent cafe. This is an old, artsy hotel in the old town, so yes, rooms are smaller, but stylish. Parking is available nearby in the Parking Promenade des Arts across the street and a block down.

Excellent location on the edge of the old town and close to the Place Garibaldi, but the rooms are very small and, despite the artists themes, not very attractive and a bit down at heel. Not recommended.

Bedbugs. I wouldn't stay here. Originally I was moderately happy with my hotel considering it was affordable. But then the electricity kept turning off, the "continental breakfast" was a joke, and I found bedbugs in my room and ended up losing a lot of money form canceling my reservation.
