It's small, but there is an elevator
It's very close to Nice Station, so it's easy to access.
The beach is 20 minutes away, so it's good for a walk.
Maybe it is because we booked via booking since were immediately told at arrival to book direct next time.
We needed to find another hotel since at first when raising the issue of the leak and very dirty room (our feet were dirty upon walking / crawling for 3mins on the floor) we were told they did not have another option for us. We asked for a crib in advance and it was not ready either. The receptionist said that “housekeeping clearly did not do their job and they will hear about this”. When we said we will contact Booking they magically had another room available for us to check. At that point we were not interested as there are other options around, same price where you get what you booked without needing to complain at reception. Also waiting on the refund still as they told us they already refunded it but Booking has no proof of such.
*** edited as per reply: you said you did refund us two months ago and now that Booking asks you for the proof of payment which you have not provided in two months, mention a delay on Booking. Also you did not reply to us when we have contacted you on October 15th regarding this, only when adding the review.
The exceptional refund is because the hotel did not fulfill the booking requirements:
As per the dirt, you did agree that the housekeeping did not do their job and will hear you out.
You also said we would not find another hotel room -which was an out of context comment- and in the 45 minutes we took we managed to do so two streets away with no issue, same price, better elevator, better room, better smell and cleanliness.
In those 45 minutes of trying to figure out a solution with you, the cot never arrived.
