The personnel working at the hotel could not be nicer. Especially cordial was Maeva, who pleasantly, thoroughly and patiently answered each and every one of our questions on several
occasions. Although we spoke in French, I noticed that she (and other staff members) had an excellent knowledge of the English language.
We highly recommend this hotel! . . . Oh, and the all-you-can-eat breakfasts were sensational, with a HUGE choice of delicious delicacies: croissants, pains au chocolat, hot drinks, cold juices,
eggs, potatoes, cheeses, and much more!
The rooftop restaurant and pool are beautifully designed and you can't help but to be wowed by the view of the sea.
We were on the 7th floor, which was the worst. Avoid it at all costs. It leads to the rooftop restaurant and swimming pool accessible to the public. This is a safety concern and there was constant noise. They should put up notices reminding visitors that hotel guests are staying on that floor.
The service was standard hotel fare, nothing special.
The location is ok – close to the beach and offering a partial ocean view from our room. However, it’s not near the city centre. The rooftop was a great spot to watch the sunset though.
Is across the pebble beach but hardly gives Nice vibes. Low on staff.
My recommendation is to stay near Old Nice or at some other property.
The only cool thing was rooftop bar, but walkins can also access the same.
The check in was smooth but the hotel needs major renovation. Has zero resemblance to the Marriot brand.
We felt cheated after paying north of 400€ per night for the quality of rooms alloted.
Stained curtains and walls ,smelly corridor outside the room made the stay very unpleasant.
The AC wasn't working properly and didn't cool effectively. We were unable to get proper sleep. We were welcomed with a half filled water tetrapack (preopened) in our room post checkin.
The basin sink stop was also broken.
We did receive a bottle of wine and chocolates for our anniversary but it could not make up for the sorry state of hotel.
The only positive for the property is its closeness to the promenade.
The room pictures on site are very old and misleading.
