DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE.

Communication before arrival was very slow, but I tried to be patient as long as the owner eventually responded. Upon arriving, we discovered that the property advertised was actually the owner's house. We were then directed to a separate house at the back, which looked nothing like the listing.

We had booked a two-bedroom apartment, but instead were given two separate rooms one upstairs and one downstairs, with no connection between them. This is completely unsuitable, especially since I am travelling with kids and elderly family members. And the owner repeatedly mentioned that this was an upgrade. The room itself was small, cramped, old and located at the back of an alley, far from what was advertised.

When I asked about the false advertising, the owner claimed he wanted tourists to enter through the front house instead of the back. Honestly, this was ridiculous and completely unacceptable. We ended up leaving the property and finding another place after a long, exhausting drive from Kazbegi. This entire experience was unnecessary and avoidable.

To the owner: what you did was completely unacceptable. We arrived tired with kids and elderly family members, only to find out you had misled us with photos and details that were nothing like the real place. This wasn’t an accident it felt like a scam.

People trust your listing and spend their hard-earned money expecting honesty. Lying to guests like this will always come back to you sooner or later.

Please stop deceiving travellers. What you’re doing is wrong, and no one deserves the experience you put us through.
