It’s the perfect base for visiting the Vardzia Cave Monastery which is a unique experience. The restaurant is not expensive with draft wine and wonderful food.

The property is absolutely beautiful and the staff was great. Very close to the ancient caves, highly recommend Vardzia Resort.

The room facilities are a bit lacking, and there is no TV in the room I stayed in. However, overall the hotel's outdoor environment is very good, the swimming pool is also very good, and you can see the Stone City. Recommended

Fantastic hotel right next to vardzia, there is a beautiful view of the cave monastery from the hotel. The rooms were comfortable and the breakfast was delicious! The woman working here was so sweet and very welcoming, we hope to come back again!

We visited the Vardzia Cave Monastery and stayed here in Taoskari Hotel which was near the site only. Don’t worry about parking because they have a big space. The lady was very welcoming and told us about the near activities also like the Sulfur bath and Nun Monastery. She offered breakfast also which was 15lari per person. Breakfast was good! Rooms are clean and simple so don’t expect too much fancy...

We stayed one night at this beautiful place. The host was very friendly and welcoming. Our room was silent and the bath was very clean. There‘s a good restaurant right across the street and it’s a 5 min walk to the caves. He prepared breakfast for us. It was a decent amount and tasted great. He even brought us some fresh grapes :) Also, there is a balcony from which you have a great view of the caves...

Very nice guesthouse with polite and friendly hostesses, clean rooms, common sitting area and dining area, pleasant garden, with pool, also when we were there it was empty. Guesthouse is located 5 min walking distance from Vardzia caves, with great view on it. Also infront of guesthouse is good restaurant.

I arrived at Taoskari on my bicycle while touring Georgia, my stay was really comfortable the view of Vardzia is amazing and the hotel is so cool inside. Sitting on the balcony having breakfast was a highlight. The owner was so helpful in everything I needed, I spent 2 nights and left refreshed and super happy to continue my journey 🚴😋

Amazing location and super friendly staff. Rooms are nice and clean. Beds could be a bit more comfortable, but for one night I cannot complain.

Great hotel conveniently situated on the side of the road. Good secure parking for motorcycles, good food in the restaurant and helpful staff. What more can a weary traveller ask for?

My family and I planned the stay this hotel but unexpectedly sadly we lost our grandma while we are on our trip and we couldn't stay. The owner and staff was so nice and understand our situation. I am truly grateful for them. I would like to thank them here again ❤️🙏

The room was very big, and the host was very nice, but doesn't speak any english, so brush up on Georgian or Russian! We stayed here for a program. The rooms are clean. The TV was broken (not that we wanted to watch anything) the food was delicious. The manager lady near the rooms is really friendly. There's a big ballroom for at least 250 guests. Some rooms have balconies and bigger bathrooms.

This Hotel and Restaurant are conveniently located off the main road with plenty of parking. Rooms are clean and good sized. A great place to host a special occasion, perfect for that very large wedding! The Khinkali are made fresh and are worth the mouth watering wait. My favorite for sure. And don't forget the local wed wine.

It's certainly not a 5-star hotel. The room is very small. It's very cold. There was a very strong, constant unpleasant smell. The spa is a separate, large bonus. That's true. But for such a small town, the hotel is unjustifiably expensive. No view of the fortress.

The room was very small, and it was difficult to turn around. When I woke up the next morning, I found that the bed sheets were stained, like shoe prints, which was disgusting. The room smelled very bad and was uncomfortable to live in. I don't recommend it.

Very nice, clean and cozy place to stay. AirBnB has made us a fake offer in different place, so we had nowhere to stay in the late afternoon. Owner of this guesthouse accepted us with no questions. We had a good rest in there before we started to explore the country.

Hotel Lomsia

As with many hotel rooms they are well laid out and offer tea and coffee. However like many rooms when set up for twin beds that is where they become awkward. In order to separate the beds you have to rearrange the furniture. This also reduces the available space.

Rooms are tired, double glazed windows didn't close properly and a tourist hotel for large tour groups. Only one lift to cover three floors with queues at check-out. Breakfast area is a complete zoo in the morning due to a very small area where the food is laid out...also very limited. Location is a 10 minute walk to old town and did see a nice hotel set in the castle grounds.

Very clean rooms with satisfactory beds. Coffee / Tea making facilities. Very small tv but didn't need it anyway. The downstairs restaurant was excellent and very reasonably priced. Service was very good

I stayed for only one night a couple weeks ago and stupidly left my wedding ring in my room. We had a wonderful night's stay here at the Taba Hall hotel. We stopped here to visit the fortress in the area and it was well worth the stop. The hotel offered comfortable beds, heating and WiFi. Then to top off a great stay the breakfast was unbelievably amazing. Boasting in fresh ingredients and delicious sausages. An absolutely worthwhile stay

Large hotel in a quiet part of town with very nice rooms and good breakfast. We were almost alone in the hotel, which was almost spooky, but otherwise we can't complain about anything, the staff was very helpful. We parked on the street in front of the hotel. Recommended!

Parking right at the door. Room is not huge, but big enough for a couple of days. It's clean and comfortable. Nicest place of two lovely owners, who were very attentive and friendly. We didn't expect they would include the breakfast, that was a healthy breakfast I must say. I will never forget them. Next time I will definitely stay there, as we felt super secure and comfy there.

A lovely guesthouse. I will certainly recommend this place . It’s a very budget friendly place. Location is right at the bottom of Rabari castle. The feel of the guesthouse is very cozy. They also arrange for trips to Vardzia for 70GEL. You can get breakfast for 10GEL. It is a family run establishment. They are very sweet and helpful.

Very nice place with very good food and drinks for a low price. What's more, we were really surprised with the present from the host: when we realised we are the last at the restaurant, he played the guitar and sang several songs himself for us. A very good place especially for the New year holiday!

This is the best Georgian food I have ever had! The food is fresh, big portion, not too salty, and rich in flavor. The hosts are super kind to us. We ate there everyday during our trip to Akhaltsikhe.

Kesane as a restaurant is a true gem. The atmosphere is cozy, and the food is great, especially "Old rabati" dish. What made the evening truly special was the owner’s outstanding generosity. After a wonderful meal, Zurab treated us to complimentary house-made plum chacha! His kindness, combined with the amazing food made "our day"! Highly recommend!

The owners were so kind and provided us not only with hot and delicious vegan food but also with a place to hangout for a while, leave our bags while we visit the castle etc. We opted for pretty much all the vegan items on the menu (not declared but still easy to find), the bean pot and the mashed potatoes were a tad bit too salty for my taste but still delish. The veggie plate was very tasty as well...

Fantastic owners and atmosphere. We stayed three just for one night. Room was clean, maybe standard isn't high but for us was enough. Food was delicious and portions where realny huge. We spent there fantastic evening with other guests and owner who played on guitar and sang not only georgian songs. I will reccomend it for all people who want to see what does it mean georgian hospitality.

Very recommend. The view, friendliness and breakfast are great.

Definitely one of the best stops in Georgia I've ever had and this time I travelled with my family. The owners were first class, as was the neighbor. It is worth taking rooms with breakfast - if you have an intensive sightseeing plan, you will not be hungry until the evening. They say that a Georgian breakfast is like a Polish dinner - it's true. I have visited Rabath hotel twice. Room are clean. Near to city center and shops. It is not noisy. Our host family is very hospital and very nice people.

Nice, small and clean hotel, right at the foot of the Rabat fortress. Friendly hosts and good, delicious breakfast.

Clean, very nice owners who even invited us for dinner. Perfect location right on the Rabati Festing which is also recommended (1 minute walk). It is advisable to book one night and negotiate others directly with the owners!

The hotel offers a very unique experience within a castle setting. The rooms are like those in a guesthouse in China, but clean and hygienic. The hotel's spa is also fantastic! 👍

The hotel is housed in a beautiful old 9th-century castle, making it quite unique. Both the exterior and interior feature a unique combination of architectural details found only in Georgia. If you have a beautiful hotel, at least make sure you receive a warm and welcoming reception. We have been there for one week for skiing. Nice location for Didveli skiing. The toilet brush was broken and we couldn't clean the toilet. Rooms are warm. They didn't clean our rooms at all. Information we got at the check-in was: "Room cleaning is provided every third day of your stay. Should you need any additional cleaning or amenities, feel free to reach out." But nobody come for cleanning all...

It's nice, but there's no reception in each building. Booking is in one building and reception is in another; it's tiring.

Beautiful location, reasonable price

A clean hotel. But it was very cold in the room.

The hotel is a 2-minute drive from the ski resort, and there are good restaurants nearby. It's a 10-minute drive to town. I personally recommend driving there. The hotel environment is acceptable, considering you're there to ski. However, the swimming pool is not worth visiting; it looked a bit dirty.

Good stay option. Difficult to climb up on a snowy day without snow tires / tc off. All amenities were clean . No washing machine available despite showing on the booking website.
