I've been on a solo trip in Georgia few weeks ago and I stayed one night at Blossom Hostel. Long story short: it's a great place, with kind and helpful people and good prices. You can feel quite safe, family vibe. The host - the Russian woman (Elena or Irina - sorry I don't remember) is very nice and hospitable - thank you for talk, great coffee and cookies. Greetings from Poland! :-)

There are 24 beds in the living room, there are 2 entrances to this room. It costs 12 bunk beds and everyone is occupied. There are no doors in the room where the beds are, so the sound of drinking and partying can be heard very well from the first floor. In my presence, they drank and cursed on the ground floor until 2 am. I couldn't sleep for a long time because of this.
There are cameras in the rooms where people sleep, therefore, in order to change clothes, you need to go down to the lower floor, go to the toilet and the cramped toilet room, being afraid to get dirty on the toilet with drops of urine, change clothes. In the shower, too, you can not change clothes because everything is wet there.

Administrator Lena is a separate story, although she is directly related to many of the troubles of the guests. She pretty much ruins the life of the guests. It looks like she has been sitting for years. People like her shouldn't be allowed to work with people at all.
She tries to greet guests politely, but she does not always succeed. Sometimes he immediately begins to command the guests, in an orderly tone, begins to poke and indicate what to do, sometimes, when he hears an unusual surname, he starts joking, mocking the surname, and calls it specially incorrectly. The hostesses of the hotel - two women, also like to make fun of the guests. It seems that the hostesses have also served their time. When they stacked flights in the common area, they forced the guests to help, those guests who apparently already live here longer than the rest.
Elena, the administrator, forces guests not to wash dishes behind them, she says that she previously worked in a restaurant as a dishwasher and she does not like the way guests wash dishes behind them. Because of this, sometimes until almost evening, there are mountains of unwashed dishes in the sink. She accuses the guests of distracting her and she has no time to wash the dishes.
Somehow a couple of German cyclists settled in the hostel. They parked their bikes in the yard. For some reason, Lena the administrator did not like these guys, although they behaved civilly, quietly and politely. She walked around the hostel and, taking advantage of the fact that the guys did not speak Russian, cursed and mocked them.

Clean Place but always very busy,
Good for Solo Men or Backpackers,
Staff can speak very little English,
Cheap Price & not far from public bus stop,
Few minutes waiting to Peace Bridge.
Artem is a Good & Polite Manager.

The staff was very nice and available 24 hours a day. There were plenty of toilets/showers, never had to wait in 4 day stay. Each bed has electric socket/privacy curtain. Kitchen/commonarea is large and never without a seat.

Cheap price (9 lari off season) but best to go elsewhere to actually sleep. Nowhere did it state the “dorm room” isn’t even a room but is actually just the second floor of the building without any doors or walls to divide which means around 20 beds all crammed into the same space- any time anybody walks the bed shakes, and you can imagine how tough it is trying to sleep with multiple old dudes snoring all around the room. Kitchen was super dirty the entire time, showers were broken and ran out of hot water (I didn’t even try) and staff didn’t speak any English. Generally a weird not so friendly atmosphere as there was no shared living space that encouraged socialising, more like a canteen style kitchen and compared to other hostels that aren’t much more money it’s pretty far away from most of what the city has to offer. Save yourself the hassle and skip, I moved after only one night there.
