I think the rooms need big time renovations. It’s pretty very old looking condition. From door handles to every basic thing there.

Overall, I was satisfied with the hotel. The location is very close to the train station, making it convenient for transportation. Although it's on a main road, it's not noisy. I didn't have breakfast, so I can't leave a review. The front desk staff were very welcoming.

Great location at an affordable price. Room was small but clean and with all you need for a short stay. Breakfast was good.

Hotel was basic but clean, the bed was comfy and staff nice, but the bedroom was cold and I needed two downies to keep warm. ******* rated it 8 so I was surprised to find no facilities. No way to get a cup of tea in the evening. If you visit then take a kettle.
You have to take your room key out with you at night as reception closes and they lock the door. It's on a heavy key ring.
Would be fine for a visit in warmer weather if you take a travel kettle.

The room is very clean, with three single beds. Although it only has shower gel (no shampoo, no slippers, no kettle, and hair dryer), it is super close to the train station (Kassel Hbf). The front desk is very friendly and the check-in is smooth. Just show your passport. If you don't book breakfast in the morning, there will be free coffee and tea in the lobby from 7:15-9:00 AM. I drank two cups and it was not bad. There is a REWE supermarket nearby (where you can return plastic bottles and have freshly baked bread). A little further away, there is a restaurant called Kebab. It is open late and is very cost-effective. It only has half a roast chicken with salad, rice or chips. 7 euros!

More than meets the eye
The hotel occupies a rather bland and unassuming building (like much of Kassel in general), the reception area leaves a somewhat worn-in impression. The room was quite another story, though: very clean and quiet, with everything you need, including a comfortable bed. The older lady in the reception was very helpful.

It was close to Kassel hbf station, so it was convenient to use it as a base to get to various places in the surrounding area by train as well as within the city.

Fortunately, it was too hot and there was no fan. It's a bit noisy facing the street. The roar of car engines...
