I did expect the Edelweiss to be top notch, but it is exceeding my expectations. I think mainly due the fabulous relaxed atmosphere mixed with good quality service , amazing amenities and compared to English prices, really not expensive. Loving it.

The town has a quiet atmosphere, and the view from the room window is beautiful. Next time, it would be more convenient to stay in the main building.

This hotel was across the road from where we stayed. Only restaurant on the mountain. Food was incredible. Staff the kindest. Fixed my wife and I a “carry out” of meats and cheeses to enjoy from our balcony across the street. Absolutely the best.

This is a beautiful little place just outside of Berchtesgaden (less than 5 min drive). The new owners were very kind and flexible with us. They provided lots of great recommendations. The chef they have on premises is excellent. Our kids loved the pool and the hot tub. The apartment was very high quality and had everything we needed. Definitely book this if available.

Each of the 3 apartments we have stayed in have been slightly different, but all very well furnished, lots of kitchen equipment, comfortable sofas and beds. They also all have a balcony or patio with wonderful mountain views. We find it really useful to have the kitchen to make lunches for hiking...
