This was our second time coming to the hotel. This time we stayed for a week. The time went by so fast. As always, the breakfast bar was fantastic and didn’t disappoint. Our waiter was Felix and he was great and helpful in so many ways. Great service!
Also our room was superb as always. Our room was kept perfect by Mirajana, she was the best.
We loved the the music on Mondays and the street market on Friday’s.
The hotel is so centrally located to so many hikes and day trips that it works out so well for us to stay there.

I did expect the Edelweiss to be top notch, but it is exceeding my expectations. I think mainly due the fabulous relaxed atmosphere mixed with good quality service , amazing amenities and compared to English prices, really not expensive. Loving it.

We really enjoyed our one night stay. Clean and large room with comfortable bed. Wonderful location for exploring this town. Ask for a Guest Card to get free bus rides which can take you to the launching place for a visit to the Eagle's Nest! Great breakfast. Access to the public parking garage is right across the street and there are dedicated parking spots for the hotel guests and direct access to a hotel elevator from the garage.

We’ve just stayed for a week and the hotel, its facilities and the staff are absolutely perfect. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the bedrooms are beautiful. The pool area is so lovely, with beautiful views from the indoor and outdoor pool. The breakfast includes an amazing choice with a huge buffet and pancakes/waffles and eggs made to order. We ate at the Italian restaurant (Einkher) and the Gastof Neuhaus - both were delicious. What really sets the hotel apart though is the staff who are so helpful and friendly. Located in the heart of Berchtesgaden it was the prefect location for exploring the area. We didn’t want to leave!

This hotel was a bit of a splurge for us, but we were so happy we stayed here! Spotlessly clean, comfortable, and with excellent, friendly service from everyone we encountered. We stayed in several lovely hotels on this trip through Germany, but this one stood out for its wide variety of delicious options at breakfast and the amazing views of the Alps from the pool area. It was also easy to walk around Berchtesgaden from the location.

Stayed 2 nights during our 3 week holiday around Belgium, Denmark, Germany & Switzerland staying at 5 star hotels along the way. Outstanding hotel in the centre of Berchtesgaden town. Had a small issue with a shower drain not working optimally which was professionally sorted by one of the lovely staff members without a fuss. Excellent breakfast offering and efficient air-conditioning throughout which was tested through a heatwave. Lovely hotel and highly recommended

Really nice spa hotel right in town. 15 uphill walk from train station or take the bus 1 stop (bus stop opposite the hotel). Room came with balcony nice to open windows for cool air. Spa and sauna area really nice with multiple different small saunas with different temperatures. Hotel also offers daily activities such as qi gong and sauna infusion. The infusions led by Hans were fantastic very hot! Huge variety at breakfast and also recommend the half board option. Consists of salad buffet plus additional courses - serving sizes not over the top and food lovely with healthy options - plenty of vegetables and lactose/gluten free options. Would definitely return!

Tend to avoid 4 star hotels and their restaurants as so many are little more than over priced 3 stars. Had an evening meal in Restaurant EINKEHR. Sat outside to watch the world go by. Good menu and as the pizza section was so extensive we both opted for pizzas. A good idea as the base was perfect and the toppings were fresh and the topping quantities very generous. Service was friendly and slick. Biggest pleasant surprise was the price. No more than many many places charge for a far inferior product. Would highly recommend.
