Hotel Neuhäusl Berchtesgaden in Berchtesgaden

We enjoyed three nights here as we explored Berchtesgaden. The room was spacious and comfortable. I love a room with plenty of storage area for suitcases and clothes without using up all the floor space! We enjoyed the half board option and the breakfasts and dinner were all delicious! Loved the salad bar with dinner and large selections at breakfast! The location could not be more beautiful! We seemed to be the only Americans there at the time making our stay an even greater Bavarian experience!

All the staff were very friendly and answered any questions we had! The rooms were very clean, and the food delicious. The hotel is also in a very beautiful location and a central one to both things in Austria and the Berchtesgaden area!

This hotel was across the road from where we stayed. Only restaurant on the mountain. Food was incredible. Staff the kindest. Fixed my wife and I a “carry out” of meats and cheeses to enjoy from our balcony across the street. Absolutely the best.

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such genuine warmth by the Hölzl and Rauh families, as well as their exceptional staff. It truly felt like coming home to a place of comfort and care.

We were fortunate to take part in the hotel’s seasonal celebrations, which were nothing short of magical. The thoughtful touches, festive atmosphere, and the effort put into every detail by the hosts made our holiday truly special. It’s clear that the hotel team pours their hearts into creating a cozy and memorable experience for their guests.

The food was absolutely phenomenal - each meal was a feast of fresh, high-quality ingredients and exceptional flavors. Whether it was a hearty breakfast to start the day or a gourmet dinner after skiing, the cuisine was always outstanding. It’s evident that they take great pride in their culinary offerings.

The staff were consistently attentive, kind, and eager to assist with anything we needed. Their friendliness and professionalism enhanced our stay in so many ways.

The setting of Hotel Neuhäusl, nestled in the stunning Berchtesgaden Alps, is nothing short of breathtaking. The tranquil surroundings and picturesque views made every moment feel like a postcard-perfect memory.
