Where to stay with pets in Berchtesgaden

The bed was super comfortable too! We ate so well for dinner and enjoyed wonderful cocktails pre dinner in the beautiful bar. Loved the outdoor seating area and also made great use of the spa and outdoor/indoor pool

The hotel is modern, dreamy and exceptionally clean. I am extremely picky when it comes to cleanliness and Kempinski, as always, did not disappoint at all. Everything felt immaculate and very well maintained

The service at the front desk and concierge was impeccable, very professional, warm and genuinely friendly. Room service and overall service throughout the hotel were excellent as well

The hotel is very couple- and family-friendly, and one thing I truly appreciated was how quiet and uncrowded it felt. Even though the hotel was fully booked during our stay, we barely ran into other guests

The location is superb, with a view of Hitler's Eagle's Nest villa above, and Mount Watzmann, Germany's second highest peak, also within sight. The popular swing facing the Alps is fantastic.

The spa was solid and offered all the basic, well-functioning amenities one would expect. I’ve stayed at spa hotels with more impressive facilities, but this one still delivers a good overall experience

Access to the public parking garage is right across the street and there are dedicated parking spots for the hotel guests and direct access to a hotel elevator from the garage

Stayed three nights. Great location to walk to the Berchtesdgaden HBF station and get around the area. Clean, staff were helpful and friendly. Very quiet and relaxed overall. Restaurant was very good as well

Lots of choice and all very fresh. The room (117) was spacious and clean. The location is on the edge of Berchtesgaden and right next to a supermarket which was very handy

Great hotel Room was very clean, staff were very nice, balcony has great view, excellent breakfast, nothing we don’t like! Oh , and the half board dinner was excellent, for €29 per person you get 3 court dinner plus salads bar, deluoabd well presented!

We had a wonderful 4 night stay at Alpenhotel Fischer. The staff were lovely, speaking great English but being patient in letting me try speaking German too. Hotel facilities were great with breakfast being a highlight

They food was great and the kitchen staff were very helpful. The reception dealt with 10 men walking and staying at 3 hotels and sorted all the problems. Dinner was great so too the wine and the hosting

The menus was concise but plenty of choice for a medium sized hotel in this region. Stephanie and Rachel were so helpful and their support sorting out the booking issues was so helpful

The Hotel is a bit old, but the room was very comfortable and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is probably the best aspect. It's a 5 minutes drive to the Königssee parking lot

Booked a balcony room thru Expedia but initially received a non Balcony room. Front desk quickly resolved the issue with a great balcony room. Super clean and modern bath. Breakfast was excellent!

The lovely decor added a warm touch, and every detail was thoughtfully considered. Convenience was also a highlight; everything I needed was within easy reach, which made my stay even more enjoyable

I love a room with plenty of storage area for suitcases and clothes without using up all the floor space! We enjoyed the half board option and the breakfasts and dinner were all delicious! Loved the salad bar with dinner and large selections at breakfast! The location could not be more beautiful! We seemed to be the only Americans there at the time making our stay an even greater Bavarian experience

Our family recently spent an unforgettable Christmas and skiing vacation at the wonderful Hotel Neuhäusl, and we cannot say enough about the incredible experience we had! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such genuine warmth by the Hölzl and Rauh families, as well as their exceptional staff

The location is quiet, outside Berchtesgaden, perfect for someone who loves quiet and peaceful, lots of parking directly in front of the property, which has an inviting outside area with lots of different outdoor furniture, patio heaters, blankets and even in the colder evenings of October it was enjoyable to have drinks outside

The Alpenhotel Bergzauber is really an idyllic and familiar place. Very warm welcome and you felt at home right from the start of your stay

The hotel is run by two super lovely people, and you can tell how much time and love they invest in the hotel. Both come from the area and always have good tips on what to do in the vicinity

I was particularly impressed by the spacious backyard, which was a great place to relax. The hostel’s location was also very convenient, especially for cyclists, which is definitely a big plus

The bathroom and shower is mix beetween man and woman. The location is a nightmare for those wo use public transport. Also in day when I stay there is no boiled egg for breakfast

I originally chose this hotel because hotels in Hallstatt are expensive and fully booked. I researched and found that staying by lake in Grundlee was an option. Unexpectedly, I was treated to a stunning lake view

A male staff member greeted me with a "hello. " It's an uphill walk from the station. The room had a coffee pot, a glass bottle of water, an umbrella, and a backpack (available for hiking), which was nice

The room was very clean and satisfactory, and the facilities were very good. The outside looks a bit old, and the exterior is being renovated, but once you enter, you will find that the environment is very good

The playground was great for kids and though we were there at the end of March (not great patio season) I can only imagine that summer here is amazing, having a beer in the garden and looking out at the stunning mountains

Stayed three nights in the honeymoon suite for our honeymoon, and it was incredible. Gorgeous room, with a personal sauna, and a giant standing tub. The views out the window from the bedroom are to die for

The location to town is great - a beautiful 10-15 min walk, and an easy 15 min drive to Konigsee, Jennerbahn, etc. The rooms were clean and just lovely

We stayed in a family balcony room at Kulturhof Stanggass and absolutely loved it. The location is excellent—peaceful and scenic, yet close enough to explore Berchtesgaden and nearby attractions with ease

Really great located appartment for hiking, museums and mountain biking. There is also a nice golf course just 10 minutes by car away. Parking just in front of the appartement

I was really sorry that the other customers in the breakfast room next to the reception desk had to see this lady's horrific behavior. Even her male colleague that wore eyeglasses was appalled by his coworker's behavior

Looked at her, shook his head and left the scene. We also didn't receive Berchtesgaden gästegarte (guest card) that were supposed to be given to every overnight guest in the area by the host

A receptionist lady required an extra fee from us, because of tourist tax 3,10 euros per person/day? I hadn't heard about that before but it was okay for us, but

a receptionist lady suddenly increased her voice and started explain about that tax to us with very contemptuous tone
