Worst place ever! Bad service, confusing information. No humans to talk to at the front desk (if there is one). It's terrible! They open the front door and the bedroom remotely using an app that barely works! It's not all, after the door closes you cannot leave the room, let's say to find someone at the front desk. In other words, night time in jail and they charge you more than the website says. Awful! I left it 30 minutes after my arrival.

The rooms are fine and clean.

The toilet isn't suitable for tall people.

The breakfast buffet is adequate and the service is very good.

The rooms were extremely dirty. There was mold in the bathroom, stains everywhere, and everything was tiny and cramped. All the rooms were in the same condition; the neighboring room was in the same state, so even a room change wouldn't have helped. The fact that you don't see the mold and the toilet brush before someone decides to live there is just unacceptable.

We were completely satisfied with the hotel. The location is great, parking is available, and you can reach the beach in 5 minutes.

The breakfast was varied and there was something for every taste.

We would even give the staff 6 stars; they were friendly and helpful.

The room had an external (but private) bathroom, for which you had a key, so no one else used it.

Yes, the reception was unmanned, but check-in was still relatively quick online.

We would stay there again anytime 😊

The hotel/guesthouse has a great location near the beach. The rooms are quite small, but clean, and the staff has clearly put a lot of thought into the details (decorations, books, a small toiletry kit). The mattresses were comfortable, and the bathroom was clean. The breakfast buffet is good in terms of both quality and quantity, offering everything you could want.

The only downside was the somewhat cumbersome check-in process; we had to go to another hotel to pick up our room keys.

However, the Meereswoge is definitely recommended for a short break. (Note: not all rooms have en-suite bathrooms.)
