Hotel Die Tanne in Goslar

Nice family hotel centrally in Goslar. Great owners and staff has locked parking area for those who travel by motorcycle or bicycle.

Would gladly stay there again.

Hote Die Tanne is the perfect place to stay when visiting Goslar or the surrounding area near the Harz.
The rooms are nice, clean, functional and offer what’s needed for a relaxing time. All the staff is very nice and takes care of your every need. The bed is comfortable and the location of the hotel, even though in close walking distance to the center of town, was very quiet.
The free breakfast has everything you need and would want and the seating was ample.

Parking that is offered is a little extra per day though I gladly paid that to have a secure spot for my rental without any worry. It’s even protected with a big iron gate that is closed at night time but your room key card opens it any time you need access.

Walking distance to the center of town made evening dining excursions easy with plenty of restaurants to choose from. If you sampled too much of all the great choices of alcoholic drinks from the different restaurants then you had no worries since your car is safely parked at the hotel.
Overall a great stay and I will be back there again for sure!

We stayed at the Hotel Die Tanne for one night on a mountain bike tour. We arrived drenched and quite dirty, but were immediately welcomed in a friendly manner and taken to the nicely furnished rooms. We were also offered help with wet laundry in the form of a tumble dryer. Communication was very good both before and during our stay. The location is quite central, you can walk to the pedestrian zone in a few minutes and have various options for dining, shopping or looking at something.
