Wonderful historic hotel in the heart of Bad Windsheim. Spacious, clean and updated rooms. Great customer service, very friendly staff. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner during our stay, both were delicious. We definitely come back when we are in the area

The stork has very spacious rooms with heated floors and nice, bright windows (with blackout curtains). It has great WiFi access and offers a solid German breakfast buffet. I highly recommend eating dinner there, even if you're not staying in the hotel.

The staff is friendly and about half of them spoke fluent English duringmy stay; all were very patient with my attempts at basic German greetings and exchanges. It is located within walking distance of a grocery store, park, historical buildings, and more food and shopping options than a person can exhaust with just a couple of days in Bad Windsheim.

Visited the hotel and met the owners while having lunch. The service was incredible and the food was the best. The hamburger was out of this world with flavors I have never experience in the USA. Pam and I would strongly recommend having lunch at this historical landmark.

I stayed in at zum Storchen four times over six weeks and am going back at the next opportunity. The hotel is fantastic and the Götz family and the employees are very friendly and helpful. English is spoken.
Stay and enjoy a great family run Gasthaus and experience Franken and its wonderful people and wonderful food, right when you walk in the door.
