Hotel Garni Bettina in Gunzburg

Upd 07/2026: A perfect base for a family Legoland trip. Free parking and a good breakfast. The room layout is very practical when traveling with kids, and having two sinks in the bathroom is convenient for the morning rush. The beds are comfortable, and despite our room being right under the roof, the air conditioning kept the space cool at night. Having a fridge and a kettle inside is another handy bonus.

Location-wise, it is very convenient. It is close to the highway if you are traveling from abroad, just a ten-minute drive to the park, and a short walk to the center of Günzburg. There is also a gas station nearby to fuel up after a long road trip. Excellent family service. Great value for money and a place you happily return to.

Bonus points for the lobby setup: there is a fridge with cold beer for adults and a coffee machine for everyone else at the entrance. A chilled bottle after a long drive is a nice touch. After all, we are in Bavaria )

This was such a nice place to stay while we were in Günzberg taking the kids to Legoland. The hotel owners, a husband and wife, were so amazing and friendly. We woke up to a fantastic breakfast with fresh rolls and delicious meats. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was exceptionally clean. We were given the family room to stay in, which was large and had a bunk bed for the kids.

The hotel is located about a 15 minute walk from the Marktplatz where there are several great restaurants with beautiful outdoor seating.

Fantastic hotel. Stayed here with 2 kids after a day at Legoland. Hotel was quiet and clean. The room was bigger than we expected and the kids loved the bunkbeds. Parking was right in front of the hotel. The breakfast was wonderful. The hotel staff were friendly and kind. We had a wonderful stay.

Very nice little hotel. Comfortable rooms, very neat. We were very happy to see our room cleaned every day and the kids were thrilled too see a sweet on their pillows. :-)
Our main target was to stay somewhere close to Lego Land. This hotel is just a few minutes away from Lego Land, so it was perfect.
Nice breakfast. Helpful staff, even if some of them did not speak English.
Only one small problem - the WiFi in the room did not work. :-(
Other than that we had a very nice stay in the hotel.
