Best Hotels in Kempten

My best hotel experience in German. Very very cheerful and friendly staff and very well mannered. Room was amazing and the restaurant food was excellent.

Our go to hotel when we stay in Kempten and we’ve now visited 11 times in 7 years. The rooms are clean, spacious and have everything you need. The staff are always friendly and very professional

Also great communication when booking. The breakfast is a highlight as there’s always so much choice and the coffee is good

close to event arena, excellent breakfast, friendliness of staff

If there’s one thing I could change it would be the pillows as the bed is always comfortable but the pillows are not great

They also have a nice conference room with a good facility of snacks and drinks

Hotel Peterhof in Kempten is just a nice hotel. It is located naar the city centre (walking distance), which gives some room for shopping. Breakfast was the best part of the hotel, cheap and very tasty

No aircondition but that was clear in the booking: hottest days i Germany, it worked with some fan and open windows. Missed a shoehorn in the room. The bar is good but not manned all the time

However, there is a basin inside the room which can be used for mouth wash or shaving. There are big windows with the rooms where one can have fresh cold air, but at times the same can be a source of noise as well

After a lot of request I could get the essential staff for the room and washroom which is really disappointing! The restaurant at the ground floor serves buffet breakfast where one can some food a of their choice but of Course the variety of food items should be increased specially with the vegetarian options

I have left my keys in the reception and came back at 10:45 pm and faced severe problem regarding accessing my room in the night since there was no one to hive my keys and there was no information or call as well

They generally clean the room in every 2 days, but even after two days my room was joy Clean and on being informed about this in the evening, they have shared the absence of the house keeping staff

The hotel rooms are really nice and clean. If you stay on the garden side it is really quiet and lovely. The restaurant is also very good quality and the waitress are very friendly

Raphael im Allgäu for quite a long time, and I have to say, it’s truly a top-notch hotel. The food was absolutely excellent, with high-quality ingredients and great variety

Good hotel close to the Austrian border. The beds are a little bit hard, but not to hard to feel asleep. The bathroom is nice and the breakfast is well prepared and enough choice

Drinks were also great, and one of the highlights was the Kruki machine a fascinating system where cocktails are placed in a cabinet, heated with a lamp, and within a minute, they come out perfectly chilled with ice

The garden was a lovely place to relax, and the service was consistently friendly and professional

The rooms were quiet and comfortable, making it a perfect place to unwind. Overall, a fantastic experience and definitely a hotel I’d recommend!

No air conditioning in the family room

I thought the value for money at this hotel was excellent. I had booked a 2-bed room and an adjacent 3-bed room for one night. The food at dinner and breakfast was excellent and the staff very friendly

Breakfast was also good and the entire staff were great and friendly. I highly recommend this hotel to you all

Underground locked parking available for an extra charge and there is ample onsite parking around the hotel. Great food from a large restaurant and there is a buffet style breakfast available is required

Came last night and even before I arrived, my invoice was already printed. A room had already been assigned to me and the man at the reception was fantastic. An employee the owner of this hotel has to be proud off

The food tasted amazing, like the Allgäuer Käseschnitzel or the Kalbsgulasch. Quick service, clean tables, cold beer. Prices are mid to high but totally worth it as the portions are big. Will be back

Excellent cannot be beaten Beautiful boutique hotel. one of the best that I have visited. Lovely location on the river, nice views. We had a mezzanine room on the top floor bedroom with a bathroom above

Location very good for access to the old town. The hotel does not have a restaurant but there is a fantastic Greek restaurant in the building which is not managed by the hotel. ( However,this is where you take breakfast)

Great hoatoric hotel. We are a family of 5, and had to book 2 rooms. Rooms were well appointed and clean. Breakfast included was the best we've encountered on our trip.

From the moment that we arrived we felt welcome and relaxed. Our messenine room ( has two floors ) was large with great views over the river. The bathroom is on the upper level (bath robes would be welcome )

Comfortable bed ( cotton sheet would be appreciated instead of a stretch cover ). A restaurant is located in the building ( not run by the hotel) it is fantastic. don’t forget to book , the place was full

Overall the stay was very good, location, food + beer and staff were super. Hotel facilities were varied, the place is great for young children

We stayed in room 308 which was hot and quite small located in the rafters, when we opened the roof window the rain came in. We had fans but it was still hot, the room didn't have a balcony either or any breakout space

Service was a little slow at times during dinner hence only 4 stars, but being from London we expect table service to be rapid, so it was acceptable. Regarding the 3 star room rating

We didn't mention it to the hotel staff untill the end, so take this as feedback and not a major complaint

Great country Inn with excellent cuisine. The Hotel is really tastefully furnished rooms, clean and very well equipped. Very nice hosts. Ride time and time again and can only recommend it!

The food at the restaurant is very nice and the rooms for conferences and trainings are perfect. Very many spa options in here and a nice swimming pool as well

We recently got married at the Berghotel, and cannot have imagined a better day. My husband & I are based in the US, but have family in Germany

The Berghotel was truly stunning - our guests keep telling us it is one of the most beautiful hotels they have been to. The staff was incredibly helpful and supportive and our weekend was truly magical

This hotel has a lovely location and beautiful views of the countryside. Our room was comfortable, but not very big. We booked a room with breakfast and dinner and the food was very good

On the first evening at dinner the service was quite good; on the second evening the service was terribly slow even though the restaurant was nearly empty

The cable car ride, hikes up and around the mountain, the adventure park, etc, are already worth the price of the hotel. The hotel itself is family friendly: pool, table tennis, table football, two kids’ rooms

Examples include tasteless broth, mismatched condiments, overcooked and under-salted meat and a particularly inedible mush (that came with the “tafelspitz”)… It is not an exaggeration to say that I was underwhelmed by the food

The reception keeps a box of kid toys as a farewell gift—nice touch. The biggest flaw is the food. The breakfast is spartan, and it is obvious that cost cutting is at play. No fresh juice, no omelette station

The queue for coffee is a mess. For dinner, it is painfully obvious that the skill level of the cooks isn’t very high—the food has the taste of being mass-produced in a hurry

The gym room is a little dated and needs an upgrade. The sauna is decent and the associated relaxation room looks out into nature—very soothing during rain

In my opinion excellent hotel and I have to mention because it is very important for me that the staff in all departments is perfect. Congratulations excellent job. See you the next time...!!!

The fruit selection is also quite good in the early morning, but it is insufficiently replenished (strawberries, for example, are seasonal). The hot chocolate was machine-made and much too sweet and watery

The Panorama Hotel Oberjoch is a beautiful, quietly located hotel. The initial contact by phone was not good and rather rude and unfriendly. Thankfully, the tone changed after we made the reservation

The hotel is very good, but it cannot justify these prices in any way. The service was completely lacking. We had to wait ages at the table for our drink orders to finally be taken

It's in a good location, but the price-performance ratio isn't right

Very nice location. enjoyed the chairlift ride up and the walk back to the hotel. Stayed here in 2007, much has changed in 11 years very upscale now but still a charming place.

Recommend to book a room in the new part of the hotel (Holz100) because of sustainable building system

The receptionist wasn’t welcoming neither sorry, and we had to ask for our ‘welcome drink’. When we went to the restaurant, our dietaries were not known even though we had communicated them many times in advance

We constantly had to ask to be served gluten-free bread during our stay, nothing was prepared for us in a way that you’d expect and it was tiring and not anywhere close to what other guests were served

A large "game room" with pool table, Darts, Playstation, table football, etc, there are ! A great wine cellar is also available If there is anything to complain about, then actually just that the in-house hotel area on a smooth floor Slippers in the Spa is slippery

The saunas are great, they have a finnish, a Dampfbad, and a Sanarium. The location is great if you want to visit Neuschwanstein Castle. The food was great, gluten free option were given (we asked with anticipation)

It would be nice if you were to add information about the fact that you can request special orders during breakfast (such as sunnyside eggs)

We liked the breakfast which offers everything for every taste. The restaurants offers very good quality but is a bit overpriced

The staff is extremely nice and perfectly know their role as hosts. The food is very good, there is an onsite restaurant with fine dining and a lounge where you can have a nightcap or simply relax

The manager was extremely helpful and went way beyond only what he had to do to help us during an emergency situation ! We will be forever grateful to him and his staff

The property is located close to the beautiful mountains and close to town. It is a vintage structure but everything works fine

The area of Pfronten is beautiful. The hotel is very vintage, felt like stepping backing in the 1950s. We had the family apartment, which was a great size for us and our children

A Wonderful Stay It was a real pleasure to stay at this gem of a hotel. It's a family run business and they took care to make our stay enjoyable. The staff were lovely and the room and bathroom was spotlessly clean

We decided to have a meal in the restaurant one evening and we were delighted at the quality of the meal. It was one of the best restaurant meals we have had in a long time

All in all, it was a fantastic stay and I'm really glad we picked this hotel for our Bavarian hiking

This country inn is committed to cooking with fresh herbs. The service is quick and friendly. The dishes are of good quality and reasonably priced

They were just so friendly and nice! We celebrated my friends birthday and they decorated the breakfast table. The breakfast was very good! I had the 25 minute back massage, which was very good

Staff attitude was generally polite, the spa area is with free access and impressive (though be careful — the main sauna floor gets extremely hot and can burn your feet), and the restaurant food was good

We loved that they were dressed in traditional Bavarian style dress also. All the animals on the property were wonderful, especially the horses. And the carriage ride through the forest was an amazing experience

It is quite near to the famous Neuschwanstein Castle which is worth seeing and the nearby village of Roßhaupten and town of Füssen are delightful places to visit

A nice hotel close to old town with a couple of nice dinner options and the train station. Ideal as affordable base for day trips to Füssen, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Neuschwanstein, Linderhof, Ottobeuren, and Kempten.

We had the "feel-well" package with breakfast, dinner and afternoon cake&coffee. Dinner is excellent, you can tell that the chef (dad of the family) is putting his heart into it

The mom, running everything else, takes excellent care of the guests. The grandma makes amazing cakes for tea-time. Rooms are cute and well maintained

The train station is about a 15 minute walk, and there are shops and restaurants very close by. All in all, a pleasant stay, and would recommend

We've used most of the hotels in Kaufbeuren for customers on our cycling holidays this year and the one that gets the best feedback in Kaufbeuren is this one. Very friendly, clean and pleasant family run hotel

Breakfast was good w/ German Breads, Croissants, Various Meats and even salmon lox! Located near old town, was plenty to see and just enjoy the scenery and shopping

Our room was spacious and well equipped with a safe, TV, mini bar and a seating area. The bed was so comfy! We had breakfast included, which was a standard continental sort. The dining area was very homey also
