Based at the city centre, Kempten, this hotel offers a comfortable stay to the travellers. The reception area is very well decorated followed by a bar and then the restaurant and a garden.
The rooms are small but neat and clean. There was no AC in the room, but since I travelled in December, it was not a problem, but during the summer, one may have to face little weather challenges. The washroom is extremely small and since there was poor drainage of water from the latrine area, there is a chance of water spillage to the floor of the room. However, there is a basin inside the room which can be used for mouth wash or shaving. There are big windows with the rooms where one can have fresh cold air, but at times the same can be a source of noise as well. There is a mini bar with the room and the items are complementary. They generally clean the room in every 2 days, but even after two days my room was joy Clean and on being informed about this in the evening, they have shared the absence of the house keeping staff. After a lot of request I could get the essential staff for the room and washroom which is really disappointing!
The restaurant at the ground floor serves buffet breakfast where one can some food a of their choice but of Course the variety of food items should be increased specially with the vegetarian options. The reception is open till 10:30 am in the night and post that if someone needs to enter or exit he or she needs to use the other door towards the garden door by himself or herself. I have left my keys in the reception and came back at 10:45 pm and faced severe problem regarding accessing my room in the night since there was no one to hive my keys and there was no information or call as well. Only after calling the emergency number, I could manage my keys, so if you are at this hotel, be very careful about this keys here! Also, the receptionists are not comfortable with English, so faced a lot of problem in communicating the requests. This is also a difficult part for the international travellers!

No aircondition but that was clear in the booking: hottest days i Germany, it worked with some fan and open windows. Missed a shoehorn in the room. The bar is good but not manned all the time. Nice parking under the hotel, overall a nice hotel.

We truly enjoyed our stay at "Hotel Peterhof".
The apartment we stayed at was exceptionally clean, cozy, well-equipped, and had a comfortable bed.
The gentleman from the night-shift at the reception was so kind and assisted us with our luggage, without us asking (night-shift of 30.12.2024): He carried a lot of our bags from the hotel reception to our booked apartment which is located around the corner; 1-min.-walk. He also spoke very well English and provided extra support with anything we needed at our arrival.
If you are considering booking an apartment at "Hotel Peterhof", please be aware that there is no elevator in the building. This may be the only downside in case you have a lot of luggage/ big suitcases/ if you have any disability.
However, we believe that the kind team from the reception would be more than happy to help out.

No Air-Conditioner, the rooms get to hot, and then if you open the window to get some cold air, you can’t sleep because it is too loud outside!! Horrible. I paid 200€ one night and couldn’t sleep at all!!

We we're very satisfied with the service and our rooms. We stayed there before leaving towards Italy. We liked it so much, we came back on our way home.

We needed a hotel for a stopover en route from Sud Tyrol to Ijmuiden and being in our own car needed secure parking. This hotel was reasonably priced and has free underground parking to which guests have access. On arrival we were given our room key and a key for the parking garage. I'd seen from previous reviews pictures of the quirky decor and we weren't disappointed, there being a huge mooing cow on the wall! The bed, pillows etc were very comfortable. There are remote controls for TV and a large ceiling fan. There is a well-appointed breakfast buffet which set us up for the day. My German is very poor but all the staff we met spoke excellent English.

Very small room with soft but comfortable bed. There was a Nespresso machine in the room that was super nice.

A bit outside city center and about 20 minutes waiting to the city.

Pleasent stay! Nice hotel, great and friendly service from staff. I was surprised with the free evening meal that they provide. Also, I got the chocolate in front of my doors for Saint Nicolaus, that was very thoughtful. The breakfast was great. And great location. Also, they allowed me early check in when the room was ready (around 12). Would recommend!

I enjoy my stay here, every room has a espresso coffee machine and a kettle and a minibar so it was enough while watching Euro 2020 football qualifications in that big TV 😊
Breakfast was good although some colleagues found it weak.
