Haflingerhof in Rosshaupten

Myself and 4 friends just spent the most wonderful and peaceful few days at the Landhotel Haflingerhof and we really wished we could have stayed longer. It is such a beautiful place in the most stunning location, the scenery is unbelievable. The rooms are clean and comfortable and nicely decorated with everything you need for a very relaxing stay. Breakfast and dinner was tasty and plentiful and the staff were friendly and helpful, especially in trying to speak english to us, as our German is very limited. We loved that they were dressed in traditional Bavarian style dress also. All the animals on the property were wonderful, especially the horses. And the carriage ride through the forest was an amazing experience. It is quite near to the famous Neuschwanstein Castle which is worth seeing and the nearby village of Roßhaupten and town of Füssen are delightful places to visit . We highly recommend this beautiful place and we hope to return again in the future. Vielen dank! 😊

Waking up to the sound of cowbells was cute. Great breakfast and dinner too. Don't forget to go visit the horsebarn to see all the foals.

I have been there for a few days of vacation in September. First class food, rooms very clean, would Recommend. Most of all, I've learned these beautiful lovable Haflinger horses love. Neviola's grown on me, especially to the heart. It is something very Special. Thank You

Beautiful location, a few kilometres outside of Roßhaupten. The room was large and spacious, so that you could move well in it. Light through 4 Windows with a beautiful view. The furniture is simple but adequate. The staff is welcoming and friendly. The Breakfast buffet was extremely extensive and all freshly prepared with fruit, cream of the crop! The dinners were cooked so well, as you would expect from an upscale Restaurant. I have for the first Time, steak Foal eaten, it was delicious prepared.
Right next door is a chapel, the Church clock strikes every quarter of an hour short. Families with children and the Farm to ensure a certain level of noise, I felt a bit bothersome.

Lovely family run hotel with exceptional food and service. Rooms are very clean but basic with great views of the mountains on one side.

Location is great but recommend having a car. Lots of attractions within 1 hour drive both in winter and summer.

We used it as a base for skiing in Germany and Austria.

We were made very welcome throughout our stay and would strongly recommend.

For years, we always visit the Haflingerhof. For us it is a place of rest, relaxation, and a place to visit nice people.
We feel ourselves every time very well looked, be it the food, the rooms, the sauna area, the horse stable, or the people who allow us the recovery (owner and staff). We are recovering every Time is wonderful.
