It's a hostel I believe not a hotel even.
The crews are really friendly and nice but I just saw the reception two times during a week, the reception room is closed often. The location is good and peaceful. Breakfast was good.
But there are some serious issues need to be addressed:
1- no fridge (or a mini bar) and air condition at room, specially for the summer period.
2- wifi is too poor.
3- no elevator for upper floors specially for heavy bags.
4- The shower stuffs are really basic, for example, only one type of shampoo for all usages hands, body and hair.( Normally hotels even give shower slippers, hair and body shampoo and etc.). And water was off for one day without any notice.
I would say it's mostly like Hostel rather than hotel.

It's quite good hotel. The staffs are friendly and helpful. The room is clean and they will clean it for you everyday. The breakfast is also good. Its location is perfect, it close to the city center, harbour, and even inselhalle. Unfortunately their wifi is super slow. And no elevator, only stairs.
Stayed at Anker Hotel on Lindau Island in early May. From check-in, to check-out, everything was great. Super friendly staff, nice room, comfortable bed, large bathroom, short walk to everything.
Nice place in the city center. But if you have a dog move along. They don't allow dogs here. Otherwise no complaints
What a pleasant please to eat Lebanon food, friend of mine had a birthday there and you will not believe varieties of food brought to us from vegan foot to beef dish. was really good..
