Stayed at Anker Lindau Island in September, arriving on our bicycles. The check-in kiosk was not working properly but the manager of the restaurant next store was able to help.
Our room was on the top floor, many steps but was very spacious and bright. A porch off the bedroom with rooftop views was wonderful. There was limited parking for bicycles, plan ahead if you wish to bring your bikes inside. Great location for wandering around!

Only stayed for one night, but the room was nice. We realized we left something in the room after returning the keys but before check-out time, and the machine did not recognize my reservation to issue a new key.

It is located in the heart of town. You only has to walk few minutes from car park or train station. The robot-reception is easy to manage. Nonetheless, too many stairs has to be pass to reach your room ( the mine was at the top. In case of hot weather is not the best place to choose, even with a provided fan.

Stayed here for one night, the hotel is in the centre of Lindau island very close to restaurants and the harbour (and a lovely beer garden just down the road).
Very warm welcome, spacious room for 3 of us, with a full size single bed and double bed - both were comfortable. There was no air conditioning but there was a tower fan which did the job.
Stairs were hard work, but we knew that there wasn't a lift, so not complaining about that.
Breakfast was good.

Great location in the heart of the island, spacious room and bathroom and cozy bed. The staff was friendly and very helpful. But be aware of many stairs to get to your rooms. We didn't try breakfast. Make sure to park somewhere nearby because eith heavy luggage it can get tiring to get that to the hotel and back to your car. As Lindau also has a train station you could reach the island by train if you wish to.

It's a hostel I believe not a hotel even.
The crews are really friendly and nice but I just saw the reception two times during a week, the reception room is closed often. The location is good and peaceful. Breakfast was good.
But there are some serious issues need to be addressed:
1- no fridge (or a mini bar) and air condition at room, specially for the summer period.
2- wifi is too poor.
3- no elevator for upper floors specially for heavy bags.
4- The shower stuffs are really basic, for example, only one type of shampoo for all usages hands, body and hair.( Normally hotels even give shower slippers, hair and body shampoo and etc.). And water was off for one day without any notice.
I would say it's mostly like Hostel rather than hotel.

It's quite good hotel. The staffs are friendly and helpful. The room is clean and they will clean it for you everyday. The breakfast is also good. Its location is perfect, it close to the city center, harbour, and even inselhalle. Unfortunately their wifi is super slow. And no elevator, only stairs.

Stayed at Anker Hotel on Lindau Island in early May. From check-in, to check-out, everything was great. Super friendly staff, nice room, comfortable bed, large bathroom, short walk to everything.

Nice place in the city center. But if you have a dog move along. They don't allow dogs here. Otherwise no complaints

What a pleasant please to eat Lebanon food, friend of mine had a birthday there and you will not believe varieties of food brought to us from vegan foot to beef dish. was really good..
