A wonderful hotel complex with a rustic main building and a modern hotel section in a quiet and romantic location. The owner lovingly tends the blooming gardens surrounding the complex. You feel like you're on an old farm. Here, you truly lose sight of the hustle and bustle of the big city. Thanks to the nearby U-Bahn (subway) line, Nuremberg's historic Old Town is easily accessible in just a few minutes. Of course, it's also possible by car—the hotel has ample parking, and major city highways are within easy reach. In summer, the delightful little beer garden beneath the ancient walnut trees is the perfect way to end an eventful day. We've rarely eaten as well as we did in the hotel's own restaurant. Here, the owner himself extends a hand and pampers guests with his creations. There's also a wonderful outdoor area, accessible in particularly fine weather. The staff we interacted with during our stay were friendly, helpful, always present but not annoying, and obviously as happy at the hotel as we were. Our room was very spacious for a double room and spotlessly clean. The breakfast (unfortunately, still buffet-style due to Corona) in the room left nothing to be desired. So, off to Nuremberg—it's a wonderful city—and if you really don't want to go wrong, book the Romantik Hotel Rottner.

Excellent hotel, just on the outskirts of Nuremberg. The staff is extremely friendly and polite. Breakfast is decent, and they also have a 1* Michelin rated restaurant which was amazing!

There is limited parking at the hotel, but there are other free parking options nearby.

The room isn't large, but it matches the price. The surrounding area is quiet and suitable for rest. For tourism, I recommend staying in the city center, but for longer business trips, it's quite comfortable if you have a car. It depends on your needs.

The hotel is nice. It is just along the road from the beautiful restaurant. Reception staff were welcoming and very helpful. The room was clean although I did not like the pillows.
Breakfast was delicious and nicely laid out.
About 15 min drive to city centre. Easy transport options. I really enjoyed staying here and would love to return.

We were invited to dinner here by a friend and it was an experience of our lifetime! Starting with the Lavender Sparkling Wine, the steak tartar small bite, and the foie gras parfait, then the amazing Venison saddle with perfectly prepared sides! All courses served with paired wines. The service was exceptional. I wish I could dine here every night!

Ocerall the property was good. I liked the breakfast area . Restaurant had a limited choices of dishes. Receptionist at the check in time wasn't profetionel. However, checkout staff was great.

Working on my computer and bugs decided to join me. This can't be just a one room problem, so housekeeping has probably brought it up to management seeing it often. Owners probably don't want to pay to eradicate the pests, have fun sleeping with them...
