Cool and fashionable hotel, near to historical centre. Lovely crew.

My train was cancelled due to weather and I was stranded in nuremberg, I saw this hotel was 20min walk from the station and had 24 hour check in, I called up to confirm the set up and was greeted by a lovely woman who explained everything to me, I arrived at 3am and it was really easy getting into my room which was just what I needed and they had a bottle of water waiting and some sweets in my room...

Great location, very clean and nice room. I would definitely recommend this hotel also for families with kids and pets. Very easy to do the check in,everything you can do online also. Perfect place!

The hotel and rooms have been modernized while keeping accents from its history, such as beautiful brick walls. Room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was full of variety with all kinds of warm breads and rolls

Breakfast buffet small but with a good selection. The hotel is excellent in a quiet residential area, in a central location to the train station, the old town, the pedestrian zone and important to many restaurants

Culinary trips around the world are also possible if you are tired of the regional cuisine. All in all, I can't understand the negative reviews

The pension itselv is unmanned but common areas like kitchen, bath and toilets are cleaned nicely every day. We had a spacious room on the street level but no street noise

PER: Hotel is not the most modern, but it has its own charm. Super friendly staff, helpful and very forthcoming. The rooms were clean, tidy and well equipped for one night

The comfort level is equal to a hostel but with nice beds, TV in the room and well equipped kitchen. Only complaint would be the really slow WiFi

The hotel is conveniently located right in the city centre — just a stone’s throw away from the handicraft market and several major attractions, which makes it very easy to explore the area on foot

And walk 5mins, you will see the church St. Old / vintage furniture but practical. Shower🚿 water power is low but hot enough for winter. Not sure whether I will still book this hotel

Staffs were so friendly and helpful, arranged a room with lift reached because they saw me having a big heavy luggage! Really thankful for their help!

Hotel room is very simple but prices accordingly. Staff was great. The location is also great, quiet and just a few steps from the train station

A very well located hotel, within the city walls and close to metro U1 and train station. The room was comfortable, clean and well equipped. The breakfast options are comprehensive and delicious

If you want a new, soulless, modern hotel do NOT come here. However, if you want an historic, old-fashioned hotel with character (and that looks like a small castle) definitely do come here

The building interior is quite beautiful and some of the rooms have amazing views of the plaza below. Very rustic, old world experience

There is no air-conditioning and the hot water takes a while to heat up in the shower. But it was a great experience overall

Great location inside the old town. Staff were incredibly helpful. Room was good and quite large by European standards. Pool and sauna were good too.

Trams and U Bahn within walking distance. We paid extra for the breakfast which was amazing. We didn't use the pool and sauna, but did check them out. They were clean and supplied with towels

Clean, courteous staff, cosy rooms. Stunning views. The center of the Old town. At the end of December are very cool in the room. The room has no kettle, Slippers, bathrobes. Overall very good!

Great Rooms with everything you need. Located directly in the city centre you can walk wherever you want. Only the bath could get a little upgrade but that’s just a small thing to point out.

The operators were exceedingly friendly and helpful, and the facilities were top-notch. You can tell that the family understands travelers' needs -- the rooms are very well designed and appointed

This small family run business was great. Dealt primarily with the son, Tim, who could not have been nicer. He provided extra bedding and even went out and bought ice to cool our drinks

We visited Nürnberg for the Christkindlmarkt and were very impressed with the Franconia City. It's a small authentic family-owned and operated hotel in a great location in the old town

Smart tv allowed us to connect to our own Netflix etc. Plenty of plug sockets around the room for charging. The only negative was the mattress protector was plastic and felt very clinical and was noisy

The staff at the breakfast bar were also extremely friendly and reserved the best seats with a direct view of the Pegnitz River for hotel guests. The hotel is definitely recommended for a city trip

On the whole we really enjoyed our stay here. Make sure you have the web link provided so you can open the doors. The front door opened every time easily however the room often had quite a delay

The room was extremely clean and tidy! With great space! There wasn’t much storage for clothes if staying for more than a few days. Kitchenette was well equipped and coffee provided for the coffee machine

The main train station is about a 15-minute walk, which is easily manageable even with suitcases. There are also countless restaurants and bars nearby, which can lead to some noisy nights, especially in nice weather

However, the cramped space also results in a few scratches on the walls, which doesn't look very nice. The air conditioning does its job very well: it cools, and the beds are comfortable to sleep in

The cocktails are very good, the rest of the drinks selection is extensive and regional. The menu could be more extensive, but this is not a problem. I like it a lot and I recommend the bar unreservedly

One of the newest and most beautiful hotels in the Motel One chain. On the 14th floor there is a great bar with a great view, and breakfast is served there. Always great and friendly staff.

The bar is gigantic! Especially the interior design is just great and the view is gigantic (you can see almost the entire city, especially with the sunset it is highly recommended)

Unfortunately, the bar is no longer an insider tip and is currently closed to external guests

We came to Nuremberg to celebrate the New Year spontaneously. We ordered the New Year eve dinner, which was very good. Staff was firendly and willing to help. We spent 3 nights in this hotel

The service overall was decent, but they only provided 1 water bottle for our room for 3 nights. There also wasn't anywhere we could find to refill our reusable bottles with filtered and cold water

The only bit dissapointing thing was teh SPA area. It's really small, we could'nt find a lunger both time we went there. We was no changing rooms, so it's a bit uncomfortable

It is also super close to major attractions, and there’s a supermarket right across the street. The place looks just like the pictures and description they mentioned

The hotel’s spot is awesome, just one quick U-Bahn stop from Nürnberg Hauptbahnhof and a 5 minute walk from the stop, with escalators or a lift everywhere

Comfortable rooms with wifi. Breakfast is provided if you book it, which we did not do. It is very close to the centre of nuremberg allowing you to easily walk there.

We had a wonderful stay at Motel One Plarrer. We came for a post-wedding visit to Nuremberg for sightseeing and to enjoy the local nightlife. We were not disappointed in anything

My husband and I stayed 3 nights. Very good hotel, staff amazing, very good breakfast. The room was clean, beds very comfortable, the isolation is very good and you have your silence

We like the sustainability option for the room not to be cleaned during your stay, we are anyway always out and do not dirty the room much and we like to opt out of cleaning services (saving energy and water)

A short walk to central station, but there is a tram stop just opposite to the hotel. If I visit Nurenberg again, I'll choose this hotel again

The location is close to the city centre, that's literally the only good thing about this hotel. Rooms were extremely small, no kettle, the breakfast buffet closes by 10am (unlike motel one hotels in other cities)

The hotel is beautiful, and the front desk staff are very helpful. It's close to the Hauptbahof and the Flix bus stop. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. The lobby is gorgeous! It's also close to attractions.

As others have said, the rooms are smaller and there are not too many amenities, but then if you are in Nuremburg to visit, you are likely in the room/hotel for only a few hours more than sleeping

Location was great - a tram station was right in front of the hotel, the city centre is within walking distance (or one tram stop away). Great Egyptian restaurant round the corner and a supermarket not far away

Room was comfortable, with the option to turn on and adjust the air conditioning. Toilet is separate from the shower and sink area, with a sliding door that isn't sound (or smell) proof, so a bit awkward

I felt very safe, the door opens and closes up using a key code. There is a nice breakfast offer and the service is kind. I am not the biggest fan of the location, Präller is full of wierd people

The rooms are very clean and spacious. The bathroom had a wierd door that closed both the toilet space and the shower space, so I wouldn't recommend for a couple/family book such room

It was quite quiet in the room overall, no sounds from the street outside but could hear some gurgling water on and off (I think from the air conditioning system)

We stayed in two rooms for a family trip. The hotel is centrally located, making it ideal for sightseeing, and it's just a short walk from the train station, which made getting around very convenient

Was given an upgrade by Jacqueline (or Jackie) to a studio with a kitchenette overlooking a quaint street; good for cooking. Spacious room, comfortable bed, and beautiful bathroom with nice soaps

Laundry room also had detergent provided; gym was adequate. Did not have breakfast, but had lunch twice at Monki downstairs - impeccable ramen. Overall, this would be a great choice when in Nuremberg

Conveniently located near the train station, a large grocery store with a food court, and the historic center. There's a microwave, stovetop, basic kitchenware, and a coffee machine

More food and grocery store there as well. I had the 3 bedroom apartment. Lots of space compared to a hotel room. Only issue was unusual heat in July and no air conditioner made for uncomfortably warm room

Suggestions: more coffee capsules for the coffee machine and toilet paper if guests are staying longer than 24 hours

Great location just outside old city wall. Excellent location for trains, trams and buses. Was rather noisy as needed to sleep with windows open as no fan or aircon and it was hot

This hotel had an amazing location! Very close to the Nuremberg city center. The amenities were slightly lacking, no fridge or shampoo/conditioner in the shower and there was no hot water

Convenient location, close to flixbus stop, hpf and town centre. Luggages can be stored before check-in, free of charge but the area is unlocked
