I had some work in the area so I booked this hotel for my work trip. I think most of the bad reviews are due to the bookings of rooms where the bathroom is shared.
In my case I had booked full private room. This room was big enough for 3 people. I was the only person visiting but somehow the hotel had only such big rooms for private rooms. And it was a very big room. Extremely spacious. The bathrooms were clean as well. The towels and linens were clean. The mattress for bed was okay, pillow could have been firmer.
The internet/WiFi worked well as well.
My booking also included complimentary breakfast and it was very basic but quite good.
For the price of the room, these facilities were really good. Really good price performance ratio.
The only drawback was the person at the counter while doing the check-in. The sounded a bit rude and impatient.
Other than that no complaints.

DO NOT VISIT. The place is not to far from commute and not far from down town. The owner is over the top horrible and disgusted. Her service is no good

What a gem. The rooms are all individualised and quirky from a time gone by. Clean and comfortable. Substantial breakfasts. It’s out of the centre but a few minutes to good S1 line. The area is exquisite - lots of trees, beautiful old houses and plenty of shops. The other face of Berlin - calm and green. It’s budget accommodation but charming and great value for money.

Needed for the family for the night, we were traveling the next day. Modest accomodation when on a budget. They served breakfast, this is included in the money paid for the night.

For my needs, a perfect location. Parking is hard. Huge room, good bed, bathroom is dated and needs help, but overall it was clean and exactly what I needed. Breakfast was as expected.

Very easy to set up, in the room and bathroom strong(!) The smell of smoke. Quick Internet. Breakfast ok. According to the Homepage, the 3-star Hotel, the reality is not living up to the claim.

According to the Internet, really nice rooms, the reality is different. Dirty u fittings, cable Strips on the walls hang down, and The staff, you will rarely have to face the questions there is no friendly response. Dirty walls, cold and dirty shower and Toilet, replacement retractable ceilings are dingy, hot water comes after 5 minutes u heaters will not work. especially in the shower, where ever the window is open is not great.

Instead of being friendly and polite welcomes, I was at the reception snapped at her; even after an obvious mistake, there was no excuse. Water heater in the room provided no hot water, soap in the rooms, as well as on-the-floor toilet (!!) not available. There was a TV (but all the Standard channel), an adventurous power wiring.
Clean, but clearly sub-Standard. Breakfast ok, baked bread rolls from the day before were also there. For the price you can expect not much more. If the Hotel has nothing else to offer, you should at least be able to expect kindness.

The rooms I was in looked nothing like the photos on their website, the employees speak minimal English and surprisingly little German. There was no bathroom in the room like, but shared on the floor and it was rather old and dirty with funny smells coming from the drain.
