The rooms are run-down. Wallpaper is peeling off the walls because they're damp. The room smelled damp and musty. There's mold behind the baseboards (which are also coming loose). The furnishings are simply old, the furniture is faded, and the TV is tiny and a post-CRT model.

The entire hotel has a run-down 90s look. The bathroom is also worn and in need of renovation. The patio door practically flew open when we tried to open it. Cleanliness leaves much to be desired. Charging money for these rooms is audacious.

The staff is probably just overworked and therefore rather unfriendly.

The restaurant prices are outrageous for what's offered.

Overall, you get the impression that you're not welcome as a guest. The Wi-Fi failed for a whopping three out of four days.

Network coverage at this location is nonexistent anyway.

It's remarkable how a property in such a prime location can be allowed to deteriorate so drastically. Here, greed screams in the guest's face at full volume.

The hotel is completely outdated. I've never seen such an unclean hotel. The toilet in our room didn't even flush. There are no trash cans on the premises, let alone an ashtray. It's nice that you can bring your dog, but we have no idea where to put the dog waste bags. Lunch is completely overpriced, as it only serves children's portions. In short, our New Year's Eve with our dog was a total disaster.

Unfortunately, booking a hotel is extremely difficult, since either the reception is not manned or the response to customer requests is very inflexible. Too bad, it used to be much better!
